Randy and his team were great. They were friendly, professional, did a fantastic job on everything we needed done, and finished the job quickly. Would absolutely hire them again, and highly recommend them.

RJO provided end to end general contracting and carpentry services for my basement remodel. Starting with prompt response to my initial inquiries, RJO consulted with me over a 3 week period to finalize a design and layout for the new basement. Randy had many excellent ideas I did not consider which greatly improved the usability of the space. For the next 4 months, the RJO team worked diligently to complete all construction tasks including handling all town permits and inspections. They were always promptly on-time, kept the work site clean and made reasonable daily progress. All inspections were easily passed and, in particular, the attention to detail with the framing and fire code was well above average. Other notable features include a full drywall ceiling with multiple soffits and height changes, custom cut doors, custom cut trim molding, custom closets, sunken ejector pump, concrete cutouts for in floor plumbing and a whole house generator. RJO also completed a number of tasks in the kitchen and mud room of my home to make sure no item was left outstanding. I made a number of changes throughout the project and RJO was always agreeable to these changes. Overall the job was completed on-time and within the upper end of the original budget. I would recommend RJO and would not hesitate to use them again.

Randy was very professional and good to deal with. He and the rest of the workers were very nice and accomodated our schedule. They did very good work. We added a bunch of work, and they did it at a fair price.

RJO showed up on the date and time exactly as promised. He helped moving appliances out of the kitchen and then back when the floor was finished. Completed the job all in one day. Worked non stop, cut no corners and did everything right. The job went exactly as one would hope.

From the first communication with Randy, I knew this was going to be a pleasant experience. He responded to my email request within a day and was courteous and professional. I like to use local providers, however my past experience has been that they are sometimes unresponsive. This was not the case with RJO Home Improvements at all. Randy set up an appointment to view the work and followed up quickly with a quote. His assessment of the work to be done was detailed and fair. He walked us through the method and materials he would use and was insightful and knowledgeable about what would look the best and be most cost efficient. His ideas along the way were brilliant and turned out amazing (I love my new light fixture!) Randy's attention to detail was impressive and we appreciated that he never cut corners or deviated from the plan. We had put so much work and money into remodeling the rest of our kitchen and we feared that not replacing the cabinets may be a mistake if they could not be integrated well into the new look. Those fears were quickly diminished as we started to see the cabinets reform right before our eyes! Randy's cabinet specialist, Mac, is a true craftsman in every sense of the word. He artfully brought every door and drawer back to their original beauty. We were in awe of how skillfully he stained them all to match so perfectly when they were in each various stages of wear and tear. The re-finished cabinets genuinely look like new and the grain in the wood and meticulous finish complete the entire look of the kitchen perfectly. Mac spent the time needed to do the job properly and took pride in the work as if it were for his own home. My only regret with this provider is that I used him for the last job in my kitchen remodel job and did not find him earlier to do more work. I will most certainly use RJO Home Improvements again and recommend him to anyone who appreciates fine craftsmanship, professionalism, and integrity.

I had shopped around and was contacted by 2 other contractors. The 1st one quoted me a price I thought I was adding an addition to my Pool House (Honey Do Service). I like fishing....But I did not take the bait. The 2nd quote was from a local Lawn Service Company that also did Drywall. Price was Mid to High..Asked about price and contractor said what do you what to pay. I said stick to Cutting Grass. Then came Randy....From the moment I explained the work I needed to have done, I knew Randy would get the Job. It's nice when people listen to what you need. Randy also made suggestions to my (Homer Simpson) idea...He corrected me and showed me from a Professional point of view (Thanks). Quote came back in a few day's in-line what I had priced out. The Drywall and Window replacement came out Fantastic...Drywall is straight as an arrow and walls are Baby bottom smooth. Bathroom window is a Real window from what was there. Trim will be added later in Nov. I will be using RJO Home Improvements for additional work in the Spring. Thank You Randy!!!!!!

Randy was professional In all. Meticulous and precise with all wood cuttings and drop ceiling redo. I definitely would hire him again.

Randy arrived on time for the estimate. Within a few days, he emailed me the formal estimate. The estimate was in line with other estimates. When he arrived to start the job, we signed the estimate and I provided 50% up front. He then demolished my old kitchen and removed the garbage. At the end of the day, he swept the floor and cleaned up. The next day, the new cabinets arrived, and he helped me unload the truck and bring the cabinets into the house. He then began the installation. He was very accurate and if something didn't line up properly, he took the high road involving re-work rather than hiding mistakes or moving on to quickly complete the job. He completed the job in a few days, cleaned up, and followed up a week lateer to see if we had any issues, which we had none. He stands by his work and I would be glad to submit pictures of the before/after to his website or to anyone who asks. He is also local to Flemington nj (near my house), and I like to support local businesses.
