This is the third time we utilized Paul Hahn's services. He & his employees continue to be neat, pleasant and adaptable. When Paul wasn't on site, he did site visits to observe the progress of work. A small issue we discovered after the work was completed was quickly & efficiently remedied by Paul. Would definitely use Paul's services in the future.

Very well. Neat work. Professional, polite painters. Respectful of home. Left work area neat at the end of the day. Meticulous prep work. Removed wallpaper in two rooms and walls were skim coated to a very smooth condition. Also installed bannister, towel rack, and small area of crown moulding. Paul Hahn is very pleasant to work with. Takes pride in his work. (Last year Paul's company painted the exterior of our house, stained our deck and painted several interior rooms. Very satisfied)

It was excellent. Paul and his staff were able to complete the required work in a short window and everything was done very well. I would recommend Paul to everyone and use him again without any hesitation.

This review is long overdue. We used Paul Hahn and his team for several weeks when we moved into our home in the winter of 2010. They were professional, punctual, cleaned up after each day, and, all in all, made our move MUCH more successful than we anticipated. We moved into an old home with a great deal of wallpaper (dining room, all bathrooms, etc., etc.), and they took off all the wallpaper with ease. We also found that several of our walls were uneven or cracked (or just problematic), and they fixed everything -- including tearing out a wall and building it back up -- before painting. They really were a joy to be around, and my husband and I both felt that the "move in" went much easier because Paul and his team were on hand for several weekends in a row getting each room ready. Also, they are more than just painters and happily do other "fixes" as needed. Would definitely recommend.

The work was well done. We had special problems caused by the siding, which Paul did his best to counteract. He and his crew are very professional, and very pleasant to work with.

Paul was very professional when setting the appointment. He responded quickly through the Angie’s List App. He arrived on time for this appointment and spent about 20 minutes reviewing the house. He is clearly very knowledgeable, and provided good advice for how to handle a tough job. He provided a quote for the work which was on par with the other estimates we received. Due to scheduling conflicts we selected another painter, but would consider working with him in the future. Paul was professional and helpful in our interaction. I would recommend him.

He never answered and never called me back. I finally got an email about three weeks later saying he was busy.

I was pleased with his recommendation and I felt he was a person who, although I didn't use him this time, I would feel confident that he would give me an honest appraisal for any work I would ask him to do.

Paul responded promptly when called to make an estimate. The estimate was received in a few days after his visit. It was detailed and itemized, very clear and specific. We needed him to start several weeks later, after a vacation we were taking, and he agreed to the date. He kept in touch as the date approached, and started when he said he would. He explained his schedule, power washing followed by some carpentry repairs we had requested while the house dried. All went on schedule. The men who did the actual painting were professional, friendly, and easy to have around. They not only worked long hours to get the job done on time, but cleaned up every day! (I mean sweeping, taking all trash,etc.) I have never had such considerate and clean workmen before. At the end of the job, we walked around with Paul (at his request) to be sure all was complete. The work was done carefully (I watched them paint at times), and the outside area was spotless when they finished. The final bill was the same as the estimate; no surprises. I would recommend Paul Hahn to anyone who asked. His work and business practices are outstanding. We plan to have him do some interior painting this winter.

I was impressed by the responsiveness of Paul and by his estimate which listed all of our concerns - gently washing the mildew off the house using low pressure and protecting the ground cover from the chemicals. The house is now clean but Paul was not here to supervise his workers who were too aggressive in power washing the house and did not protect the ground cover. We live in the woods and they got leaves and mud all over our deck furniture, barbecue, and garbage cans which they did not put back on the decks. They also got a hose very wet and muddy and then rolled it back up on the reel so that when I went to use it to wash off the furniture and cans, I got covered with mud. When we expressed our dissatisfaction to Paul about not being here, he made excuses about his need to be with his children. If he could not be here on a Saturday, he should have scheduled the work for another day.

Paul and his associates are simply amongst the most punctual, thorough, knowledgeable and reliable professionals I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Paul came through in a pinch when time was tight and on short notice - and did everything beyond our expectations. Paul knows how to get the job done, is no-nonsense, and is a friendly guy to boot. Since I'm out of state and we were working in a difficult situation (My father had recently passed, and I had to prep his home for sale remotely) - Paul went above and beyond to work with me from a distance, and did everything wonderfully. His responsiveness was top notch, and he kept me apprised of everything that was going on. I would never hesitate one second to go to Paul again, and would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat.

Paul and his crew are professional and their work is excellent. Their attention to detail is what I like most about their service, they do not just do a job, they make sure the work they do is top notch. Every day I walk into the areas they painted and smile at how much it has done to transform my home. The only area I think they can improve on is scheduling and how they manage weather challenges. They are very busy and their projects may be taking them longer than anticipated. Despite the wait, I would use them again. If you are looking for a crew that really cares about the work they do and not as concerned about timing, than they will be a great fit.

Overall, it went very well. Paul was prompt to return my calls/e-mails, kept us up-to-date on timing and the end result was to our satisfaction.

Contacted Paul after reading his company reviews on Angies list - He returned the call promptly and agreed to stop by to give us an estimate on painting the entire interior of home. ( 9 rooms / 2 1/2 baths ) He walked through the home asking very detailed questions as to what needed to be painted and what was not. He offered advice on some minor repairs that needed to be done in conjunction with the painting. His estimate showed up next day and was reasonable for the work that needed to be done. He estimated his team would take about 2 weeks to complete the job. We made arrangements for our dates and conversed a number of times regarding colors, type of paint and some items we wanted to make sure were included. The estimate was also complete - paint, labor, and materials - No Added Extras......and his team supplied them all. His men ( Rick and Tom ) arrived as advertised at 8am and immediately reviewed the job again with us room by room. They then put a game plan into action selecting the top rooms and working their way to the downstairs. His team moved all the furniture ( they asked us to move the knick-knacks prior to their arrival from the rooms) covered, draped and protected EVERYTHING!! These guys had a great system and were very professional, courtious and NEAT. Every morning they arrived on time and did not leave until the work that they scheduled for that day was complete - they even returned all the furniture to the room as it was before they started. They finished on time and made sure they caught every item we saw ( there were only a handful of items that needed touch ups). Payment terms were as advertised and we were very happy with the job. Paul even left us the remaining paint to use in case we had an accident in the future. Definately a company you would want to use and we will again in the future......

The process was excellent. Paul was very responsive...got back to me, did the estimate and then started on the day that he said he would.The work was excellent. He has two individuals (Tom and Rick) that have been with him for some time. All have good skills and work hard. I was very pleased.

They were good. They did good work. They did some staining of our window sills and the color didn't match. I had them redo it and it came out very nice the second time. They were more than happy to redo the staining of the window sills the second time to make sure that it was the color that we were looking for. The price was pretty good. We would use them again.

Paul and his entire crew were nothing less than amazing. Paul and his entire crew are very friendly and very professional. Paul was very responsive and very detail oriented. We needed our laundry room and mud room repainted from a hideous pint color to a more neutral off white. We had just had new porcelain tile installed and were extremely concerned about potential damage. We also had four french glass doors we wished to have installed and painted. A previous "Not Handyman" had improperly installed and trashed all four doors. The "Not Handyman" had to pay to replace the doors since he destroyed them. I asked Paul for a recommendation and he stated Rick on his crew was a master craftsman who has been with him for approximately 8 years and has done extensive work in Paul's own home. I decided to have Paul, Rick and the rest of his crew do all the painting and french door installation. Everything came out perfectly. We all know how much fun it is to deal with some contractors. This was the best process I have ever went through. Paul was a real professional. He was there to provide the estimate when required, he provided it timely, his workers were here timely and worked hard and with care. Paul kept me up to date via email on the status and when they would be here or not due to weather, etc. Overall, great experience and I would not hesitate to use Paul's service again.

Paul answered the phone and we set up time for the estimate. He gave us a fair price. I liked his attention to details and professional knowledge. The communication was excellent. The work was done on time, no hassle; office was clean; accurate, beautiful. We are very pleased with results. Paul followed up the next business day to make sure we are satisfied. He provided all paperwork for my accountant (insurance, invoices, payments). Very organised. It was a pleasure to have business with Paul and I would highly recommend his service.

Was very professional and punctual during the entire job. Two men came onsite to first smooth out the walls, spackle, and then paint all areas of the kitchen. Took a few days but was very accommodating when it came to scheduling. They completed the job on schedule and did a fantastic job. Far exceeded my expectations. Everyone who has been in the house since has been very complimentary of the kitchen and the job performed. Will be doing future business. HIghly recommend. A+++

Aside from excellent communication with my husband and I via text, email and phone, he/his workers arrived promptly and got the work done quickly and well (my husband even requested another coat to be applied to one of the rooms and Paul obliged without nickel and diming us). He also painted a closet that wasn't originally in the estimate, but discussed and later charged us a reasonable amount to paint it, as we had agreed upon. Paul has an excellent attitude that makes him a pleasure to work with and can even offer some decorating advice, as far as colors, etc. We will definitely be using him again!

The walls look exceptionally smooth... it is very difficult to tell there was any damage at all. Great communication from Rick who did the work.. he called before arriving and was exactly on time. He worked very efficiently, rotating between the various walls as they dried. Most impressively, he sanded wall compound in three rooms without leaving a trace of dust... worth it for just that. The job took two days to finish as the first coats of wall compound needed to dry before the second could go on. We hired a professional because we wanted a professional finish, and that is exactly what we got.

Paul Hahn was very attentive to our needs and was very patient. He did good work and was pretty responsive too.
