+ -1 moreShowed up on time to bid on job. Never received a proposal. Tried to contact by calling and texting, never responded. If you can't or don't want to bid on a job, at least have the courtesy to let the customer know.

+ 0 moreWe had a leak in the ceiling above our 1st floor bathroom, which John White pinpointed & which required most of the sheetrock & paneling to be removed. After the plumber fixed the pipes, John & his crew put a new ceiling & paneling in the bathroom & also replaced sheetrock in the pantry area & in the upstairs bathroom, where the plumber needed to cut out part of the wall. In the past, John & his crew have installed new tile in our family room, and also in our pantry area & bathroom on the 1st Floor. Most recently, they totally redid our master bathroom on the 2d floor. I would highly recommend them.
Description of Work: Removed & subsequently replaced sheetrock & paneling in 1st floor bathroom.

Description of Work: JW Tile renovated my bathroom, which included taking up the tiled floor, walls, and shower; removing the soffit over the shower and moving the shower wall back to make it larger; replacing the drywall on the walls and shower; mudding the shower pan and installing a pitched river rock floor; tiling the floor and shower; building a shampoo niche; installing corner shelves and a corner seat; and removing and replacing the toilet and vanity. John had an outside contractor move the shower pipes and drain, and install the shower door. (John has a network of outside contractors that he works with that he makes sure are affordable and do an excellent job.) John and his team were incredibly efficient. Every guy had a specialty and they all worked simultaneously. John was very trustworthy, the only changes he made to the quote were when he needed more materials than expected, and he charges materials at cost. He even let us use his discount at Tile Barn. When I made some last minute changes to the design we wanted, he was very accommodating. We are very happy and the finished product is gorgeous.

Very happy with his professionalism, his workmanship, and his recommendations and especially his price. Overall the project so far is moving so much quicker than we anticipated. He was able to salvage our old cherry cabinets and will be installing them for us in the garage.

Description of Work: Contractor ripped out bath tub and wall. He put up 5 sheets of cement board, raised the ceiling over the bath tub, tiled the entire tub area including the ceiling and the floor area approximately 135 sq.feet. Great job. Lowes wanted $4,800 just for the labor. I did everything for much less.

+ -1 moreAfter much very careful consideration of what tile we thought would look great, John did a very nice job installing it. Then, realizing we had made a bad color choice, we called him in a bit of a panic. He was very professional about the whole matter and very helpful as we considered what to do. In the end, we asked him to take it out before it set up completely. Once we chose a new style of tile, he installed that for us, and we are very happy with it. As we worked toward a decision on both designs, John was very accommodating. On the second attempt, he mounted a one-square-foot sample on sheetrock so we could much better visualize what a large area of this tile would look like. He was very easy to work with, and really wanted us to be happy with the job. We don't hesitate to recommend him when friends are looking for tile work. Note: With slightly more attention to detail, I would have rated him an and quot;Aand quot; for quality. Having said this, we intend to hire him again for another job in the near future.

+ 2 moreThey were very good. They were timely, very neat and they did a very thorough job. When they were finished I could not recognize where the problem had been. The price was reasonable for the effort. I am trying to get them to come back and do some more work.
Description of Work: I used JW Tile to recaulk a bathtub and shower. They fixed a segment of a ceiling that had mold above it. They took it out and found the source of the leak, which led them to the bathtub work. They replaced the ceiling sheetrock and repainted it.
