Person reviewed issues on June 1 and said an estimate would be emailed to me. On June 9 I called as nothing had been sent. Was told it would be looked in to and would call me back. It is now June 12 and have heard nothing. Poor way to do business. Would not contact them again.

The company did not respond to my call, I called 9/6/16 at 8:05 AM. It is now 9/8/16 7:11 AM and have not received any call back. Not a good way to do business. Not my job to keep calling a company to pay them to do work.

The gentleman who arrived to give me the estimate was very courteous and knowledgeable. . The reason why I did not go with this company is because the price was almost double everyone else's price. In the end I used another company that used OEM products and completed the job quickly cleanly and to my full satisfaction at a price that was almost half of what this company wanted to charge. Not sure why their price was so much higher than everyone else

I've used Fletcher and Son before and they are the best. Everyone we deal with there is prompt and courteous and the work is first rate. I've recommended them to family and firend and think they are one of the best electricians in Hunterdon County. I highly recommend them!

I had had problems in the past with the same GFI, and it turns out that the circuit that the GFI protects has outdoor outlets connected to it (these are flip outlets, they don't have a protective plastic cover), that may have become wet due to winter lighting cables used during Xmas time. I replaced myself the same GFI a few years ago, but apparently wasn't working right any longer. Additionally, he replaced a couple of flood lights on the side of the house, at a height of perhaps 20 ft or more, initially the bulbs I bought from Home Depot didn't fit, due to its design, even though these are indoor/outdoor lights... The technician (I forgot his name) volunteered to buy a couple of Ultra LED flood lights at Cooper Electric, a local Flemington store, that are supposed to last 10 years or more. He could have easily used the simple fluorescent lamps I had available at home, make his life simple, and move on to the next job... Well, he left the house, bought the LED lights, came back and really solved a problem that will not come back for a few years... The flood lights really opened up a whole new space in our backyard, and my wife couldn't be happier. (I also used them about 4-5 months ago, to "change" a couple of recess lights in our very high family room, we thought it was an electrical problem)... I have not gotten the impression by this company that they want to take your money and run, they want to do a good job, they do a good job, place a strong emphasis in customer service, and from now on, when I encounter any electrical issues, I will be calling them again. Will recommend!! Thank you!

Promptest responders of everyone we called. Gave us a fair price without taking advantage of the fact that it was an "emergency". Did the job right the first time. We plan to use them again to install new lighting in our home.

They were great. Showed up on time. Quickly assessed what needed to be done at a reasonable price. Total job took one hour. Recommend them to anyone. Very satisfied.

It could not have gone better. Electrician was prompt, professional, pleasant, and accommodating. He was all over the house, from attic to basement for two days and was amazingly unobtrusive. He was neat. This company has been added to my permanent phone list. Thank you Angie's List!!

They came in and put in top of the line kiddes. They were fast and wore booties so as not to track dirt into our home. They also offered a really good warranty. The old ones did not have carbon monoxide sensors. They were on-time and completed the work in about an hour.

Mike was excellent. He troubleshooted wiring issues in our house and would not stop to find out the problem with a faulty light in our horse barn late on a Friday afternoon.

I first called for an estimate in early September and I think the technician arrived on Friday, September 6th. He arrived on-time and was very nice. He said to give him a few days to put the price together and they would email me the estimate. I gave him my email address, even though I already gave it when I sent up the appointment. Anyway, I didn't hear anything back until the 17th. I got a voice-mail asking for my email address again, otherwise they would just mail it to me. I called back on the 17th and spoke with the answering service and gave my email again. Now it is over a week and still no email estimate or estimate in the mail. A little discouraging when I can't even get a price for the work.

We were moving in and discovered that the outlet for the dryer was unsafe. We called Mr. Electric and Mike came out the next day and replaced the outlet with the proper one. Then as soon as we were able to purchase ceiling fans a few days later, he came out and installed them plus corrected some additional electrical issues we had discovered. We were very happy with the work and would definitely call them again.

I was stunned and amazed. I called last night and explained my situation to a PERSON and she said someone would call in the morning. Sure enough, by 8:30 in the morning someone called and said that as soon as the technicians' schedules had been checked, she would call back with an approximate time. Mike called at 9:00 AM and said he would be here in 15 minutes and he was! I explained the problem and he started troubleshooting. I had thought I had a bad breaker but he tested them and said they were fine and kept looking. He traced the wires and found a loose connection and fixed it and also told me where it was. Mike was terrific! He listened to what I said, was very professional and pleasant. He got the job done quickly and neatly. As far as I'm concerned, I now have an electrician!

When I called to make an appointment I got a live person!!! Unlike a lot of places where you have to leave a message and hope someone calls you back. The secretary scheduled the appointment window and then called us that day to narrow the time down more precisely. Work was done in a timely and efficient manner by a polite service technician.

Mike quickly understood what we wanted and was able to do the work immediately. He also informed us of a superior solution which we are considering for a future installation. Excellent service.

This contractor does business as Mr. Electric. Initially I was concerned about using what I perceived to be a chain contractor or franchise operation, but it turned out that this is a family owned and operated local business. From the initial contact through the estimate, installation and startup, I couldn't be happier with the level of communication, the knowledge of the staff, and the quality of the installation. The contract price was substantially lower than that of another local electrician who provided an estimate. Mr. Electric's phone is always answered by a live person, usually a family member or a very helpful answering service. I received a confirmation phone call before every appointment, and the technicians always showed up on time. The work was completed in a professional manner and the friendly technicians were always willing to answer what were probably annoying questions. Mr. Electric is a highly professional and well-run electrical contractor and I will definitely use them again. In fact, they'll becoming back later in the week to repair a malfunctioning attic fan.

During the hurricane, a limb hit the main powerline coming into our house and damanged the meter mast. I went on Angie's List and found three companies to provide bids. They responded promptly to our request for a quote and followed-up to see if we had questions. (Not sure if this is the norm, but they responded to emails and at least one phone call on a weekend, which is a huge plus for those who work weekdays.) Fletcher Electrical didn't have the lowest bid but they were local and I felt a little more comfortable based on their assessment on what needed to be repaired. We agreed on a repair date, they came on time and finished within a few hours as they'd estimated. In terms of the quality, it all looks good to me but given the type of work done, I don't have the expertese to grade on this metric. Overall, I am pleased with the service and would definitely call them to bid on future jobs.

He came out same day as I contacted them. They were able to do the work the first time around. I would use their services in the future.

Due to the hurricane it took them a while to come out to fix our problem. But we didn't need help right away and other people did. Other times we have had very prompt service from Mr. Electric.

They were very friendly and very knowledgeable. I really liked the fellow. I would have gone with them if the price hadn't been so high.

We had approached Home Depot for a electrician to obtain a quote for the above jobs. They recommended Mr Electric. We were told that they had not received any complaints from earlier clients and that the only problem was getting the initial call. We had been to Home Depot on a Sunday, and the very next day we got a call from Mr. Electric asking if they could send someone over to have a look at the work and give an estimate. Peter from Mr. Electric arrived at home around 1 pm, had a look at the work involved and provided an estimate. He asked me to get in touch with their office to schedule the start of work. I was told the earliest possible would be on Wednesday between 8 and 12 in the morning. By 8:45 am Peter was there at our doorstep with an associate. They went about fixing the chandelier and the ceiling fan, cleaned up behind them and even carted away the empty boxes that the chandelier and the ceiling fan came in. We did not have dimmable bulbs for the chandelier and Peter did not have any either. They then drove to Home depot and got them for us. Overall it was a very satisfying and a trouble free experience for us.

Everything turned out well. They were clean, very nice and timely.

They were fabulous. They were very knowledgable and know what they are doing,. They are very professional, skilled and there wasn't any problems. I would highly recommend them.
