Well the pipe leaked on their first try so they had to come back and redo it sooooo...

It leaked, had to come back. Worst part is i called them THREE times for another issue and they never got back. And I was very nice to them despite the last job. Typical.

Awesome service. They came in, asked a bunch of questions, assessed the situation and got to work. After cutting into the wall, they found the burst pipe, cut it out and fixed it. Nowadays, they repair the plumbing, without a torch or soldering, all pressure clamped joints. That was pretty interesting. Job well done. Next, it's time to deal with the water damage, Ugh.

I was very impressed by Tom who was prompt, polite and very knowledgeable. He went out of his way to ensure that the right parts are ordered for our second shower. He could of just told me that we had to go with the very expensive trim package but he took the extra time to work with the supply house to be able to order the individual parts. He even called me late on Monday to notify me that he had ordered the parts and when they would be shipped. Based on Tom and his excellent customer service, i asked for additional quotes on work that i needed to be done. I am so pleased that I have found a plumbing service that returns calls, is prompt and really puts their customers first. I will be recommending this business to my friends.

I called to set up an inspection on my heating system and radiators, and I was able to get an appointment that Saturday morning.

Everything was finished within one half hour! The valve was replaced, and it was determined that the rumble in the tub was due to the fact that it had not been used since last fall, so the trap contained no water. A little fill down the drain was all that it needed. Tom arrived promptly and was impeccably dress in a neat Daniel Smith Plumbing logo shirt with his name embroidered over the pocket. As soon as he entered my home, he put booties on his feet to cover his shoes. He's a highly intelligent individual who apparently loves his job and dealing with the public. He has been an employee of Daniel Smith's for two years now. Daniel Smith Plumbing and Heating is highly recommended. Cannot compare price, however, since I rarely have the need for a plumber. The service charge ($49 in this case) is undoubtedly something that other plumbing services charge. And the price of the fill valve and installation included replacement of any other tank part. But, I'm not a handy person, so I must pay for service. He does offer a $10 senior discount!
