Description of Work: Removed existing roofing and replaced with GAF Weather Stopper System Plus except front main roof (replaced 11/18/12 by Altvater roofing after Sandy). Also reflashed the chimney with copper, replaced three existing skylights with new Velux units and removed the attic exhaust fan and installed a ridge vent. The work was completed in a timely and professional manner. The property was left clean of debris and all old material was removed. We were very pleased with the quality of the work and materials. They were very easy to talk to and work with.

+ 0 moreWorkers were prompt, professional, tidy and just a refreshing pleasure to work with. I'm sure you might find cheaper contractors but these guys know what they're doing, do a great job and don't need you to manage them in order to do that great job. They fixed a problem with my parent's roof that another roofer caused during a reroof and we've had no problems with our roof. I would use them again in heartbeat and of the dozen or so contracting companies I've done business with over the years I would only say that about two companies - this being one of them. It was so nice not to have project manage people I hired to make our lives easier. Worth every dollar.
Description of Work: Tear off and re-roof of a 3 bedroom, 2 bath 1966 split level. Some of the plywood sheating needed to be replaced. Solar fans (attic fans that were purchased by the home owner) were installed as was a zinc ridge to reduce/elminate moss growth.
