ABC Computer Care

The work took longer than expected due to the technical complexity of the task, itself rooted in the very proprietary design of the machine. Their senior technician showed vast knowledge, great resourcefulness, peerless professionalism, and excellent patience as each piece we removed revealed more hassles ahead. He never gave up. He was indefatigable, and a pleasure to work with. Total win!

Geoff at ABC Computer Care was great. Basically the motherboard on my computer was dead, but he was able to retrieve data from the hard drive. Geoff was great at staying in contact and letting me know what was going on. I would definitely recommend using ABC Computer Care when computer problems arise.

I wanted somebody local, I read a couple of reviews that were not on Angie's List about them. It is a desktop and not a laptop. He told me it was dead but he said, luckily here your stuff is saved. So I didn't have to carry the whole thing home. He took the hard-drive out and took care of throwing out the body of it. He also looked up on the computer what is the best deal for me to get. He was a great guy, a really nice guy. I am still working with them because I am going to buy the computer he suggested and then he is going to get all the information off the hard drive he gave me and put it back on my computer. So we'll see how that goes. He is very fair. He did all this for nothing and didn't charge me anything. I brought my computer in, he hooked it up, it wouldn't finish booting up and said luckily your stuff is going to be alright. He opened up the case and showed me these 3 tubes that were in there and he said, 'Your very lucky because your motherboard was about to go'. I thought that it was so astonishing that he would go on the computer because I said; I don't really know much about computers, what do you think I should get? And he looked it up for me and printed it out. He suggested a Dell. I was very thankful. I am going to take him up on it. I brought the printout home and I am going to order it. At this point I would rate him an A but he hasn't really done the physical work on the computer yet. He was being a very professional good business man. It was a good thing for him to do that because I will certainly come back to him. He also comes to your home by the way, I specifically asked him, if you need it. They certainly do charge for it but that is really a plus in my eyes. It is very hard to find people to do that anymore. He was wonderful. I was there right in the shop and he took care of me right away.
