So happy to have found A1 Rose Movers. Everything you could ask for including "old school" customer service. They call back, show up, communicate via text. The movers were on time, neat, thoughtful and professional. I could not have asked for a better experience moving.

Fast, honest, friendly, and no price switching games. Honestly they were great from the first moment I called to the last item was moved. Everyone was professional, and friendly. Scott was on top of everything and the whole crew was careful with my belongings. Nothing was damaged. They took the furniture apart and they put it back together professionally. I would definitely use them again and I would highly recommend them.

Broke a ton or our stuff. Picked everything up, put it in the truck, and then held my stuff hostage until I paid DOUBLE what I was quoted. If you want the worst experience of your life, hire this company. The owner is pure evil and should be in jail for how he does business. Not to mention the crew is slow, rude, and smoked cigarettes more than they worked. Worst company ever.

I wish I could leave no stars but it would not let me. DO NOT EVER USE THIS MOVING COMPANY! They are the most unprofessional group of men I have ever dealt with. They were over an hour late to my move, they smoked cigarettes in the back of the truck with all my clothes, furniture and bedding stuff. They broke my bed, my couch and a chair. I called immediately as the damage to my bedroom furniture was being done and the lady on the phone said she would call the owner. A man came into my apartment looked at me and said, We good up here?Unbeknownst to me, this man was the OWNER! He never once introduced himself as the owner, told me that all I needed was some wood glue to fix my bed, then left the apartment. Meanwhile he was smoking with the rest of them in the moving truck. I have been trying to get a hold of him for about a month now. He has mailed me a check for $50 and left a voicemail telling me that your items are old, of little to no value, and that is what happens they are old, they break. He has never once apologized for the damage, for how his men smoked while transporting my items ( my stuff smells of cigarette smoke for over a week) or the fact that he saw his men break my bedroom set and he NEVER introduced himself as the owner at all. This is a poor excuse for a company and I would HIGHLY recommend you move your own things before letting them touch an item. Especially if it is old. because in this companies mind, there is no need to handle with care if they feel your items are of no value.

LIFESAVERS. My original movers canceled on the day of the move. I contacted A-1 they came the next day on time and completed the move. The workers were extremely courteous and professional. They were very knowledgeable and handled my items very well. I would recommend them to anyone looking for movers in NJ.

This team is my go-to. They are always professional and take care of my belongings as if it were their own. They do not stop until the job is done, without any complaints. I always recommend them when someone that I know is looking for movers.

I was given a quote for 6 hours because that was the estimate for moving all my stuff. I told the owner, Roy, that I was probably not going to have that many boxes to move because I was going to move them myself. He NEVER told me that there was a 6 hour minimum. I only found that out when they were done moving when I said, "it wasn't six hours" He then informs me of the 6 hour minimum. I told him if I had known that, I would have had them move more and I would not have done it myself. He said that they didn't want to spend all day moving, which is what I PAID them to do. So before the move, I get the form that has to be sent according to the state. It says that "blah blah"and the amount of the insurance. Standard insurance for damages is $1/pound. You can buy extra insurance if you want. So I called the owner of A1 Rose Moving Company after emailing multiple times for an answer if they have ever had a claim and getting no response and ask him about the insurance since my two bedrooms furniture are worth a lot more than $1/pound and I am concerned if anything happens. He tells me that additional insurance is about $350 but he guarantees that if anything happens, he will take care of it to make it right. Should have known better right there. During the move, it takes them almost an hour to get my headboard out of my room. Which by the way the other three guys are outside doing nothing but smoking cigarettes. They end up taking the legs off of my headboard to get it out of the bedroom, which means they have to take the decorative parts off of the headboard to get to the bolts. They put together my bed and then suggest that "I just glue the decorative parts back on" since they don't have the glue or staples to put them back on. While they were trying to put them back on, they managed to break one of them. They also dragged my son's mattress on something and tore the plastic sheet that was on it. When they put his bed back together, they did not bother the screw in all the screws. I found this out when my son was sitting on his bed and put his heel into one of the screws that was sticking out. And then I noticed all the missing screws that weren't missing before they moved the bed. They also did not leave the Allen Wrench that was used to take his bed apart, which is the only way to take apart the bed. Then I noticed that there was a huge scratch on my son's headboard that wasn't there before the move. The living room mirror hooks were just gone. I found broken pieces of my dresser drawer tracks in one of the drawers when I was putting clothes away so the drawers don't close properly now. And the washing machine that they didn't bother to hook up because when they disconnected it, they broke the plastic housing that held the connectors in place and the hook up fell into the washing machine backing. I finally spoke to the owner and he said he would make it right. He comes to my house to put the decorative pieces back on my bed with "crazy glue" and ma
