I sent Keller and Sons an email advising that we were not going to pursue the job with them due to cost. They are very responsive. They returned my call for the estimate in a timely manner and provided the estimate in a timely manner. In my original review, I believe I confused this company with another for which I apologize to Keller and Sons. This was my error.

Great...took care not to damage shrubs, very neat and efficient

As far as I could tell, they did an excellent job. It was a reasonable price compared to some of the other bids we got. They showed up when they said they would and they did what they said they would do. They did very good work. They were competitive with the other bidders. They worked hard and did a thorough job of cleaning up after themselves outside. This is the only major roof job that has been done on this house. They were very good about providing information before the job such as what the situations were, what the prices were and the advantages and disadvantages of going up in price level. I felt that they helped me make an informed choice on what I wanted them to do. I would definitely call them again. I have no real idea about the quality because it depends on whether it lasts or not.

They took care of the problem. Overall, they were responsive and if there's a problem to be fixed, they were on. They showed up when they said they're going to show up and they're helpful. It was fine and it was recommended to me by a family.

Went fairly well until the first heavy rain storm and the water went every where except in the gutters. Installed the incorrect roof to edge tie down. They returned and corrected the problem, but did a poor caulking job, which I had corrected by another firm. The basic roof installation is excellent.

We ended up using a different company. I was not impressed at all!

All crew were very professional. The job was done in and out in couple of hours. Would recommend any time.

I loved the service provided. Unfortunately my wife signed with another company before I sealed the deal. After poor response from the other company we had wished we had used George Keller and Sons. It was one of our biggest mistakes as homeowners to not have selected this company.

It went perfectly. Old roof was removed, new roof installed on day promised. Dan Keller was available and oversaw the project.

George J Keller & Sons (aka GJ Keller) were the most professional roofing company I've ever dealt with. From the owner to the salesman to the foreman to the roofers, everything was done, as one would expect. Mike Keller, Robert English, Mike Appleby and Estaban were all great. Quality work and quality service! I would refer GJ Keller & Sons on any future roofing jobs. Rarely do contractors promise and deliver! We are so excited for the solar panels to be installed next after the permits come back next week. They not only do roofing, but install solar panels too!!! Go green and save money too! =)

called the provider for an estimate and I liked the fact that they gave an honest opinion that I did not need the roof replacement as yet and mentioned that we would get another atleast 2 yrs on the roof. this is a provider you can trust.

Everything is great. The original install went very well. They had a large, clean, and adept crew. They did what they said they would do for the price they said they would do it, and all on time. They had to come out a year and a half later to have them repair a portion of the roof damaged by Hurricane Sandy, and that experience was just as positive.

They were reasonable with the bids. People use them before and have good reputation. They were good and thorough.

The job was good. The damage the gutter but they replaced it. They kept rescheduling.

George J Keller & Sons did an excellent job on my roof -- from the estimate to the job clean-up. The estimate clearly indicated what was to be done and what materials would be used. I was impressed because they specified everything -- shingles, pipe flanges, attic exhaust fan, even the number of nails per shingle. The crew arrived on schedule and the work proceeded like clock work. They needed additional sheets of plywood and had them delivered asap. They also installed a 'cricket' near the chimney The roofing portion was completed on the first day. They were very careful about clean-up. Another example of their attention to detail: They use their own truck for the dumpster, and the driver puts down wood planks to prevent any marks on the driveway -- very professional. The soffit replacement and gutters were completed about a week later. The ventilated soffits were recommended to allow correct airflow in the attic to prevent moisture. They look great and don't require any maintenance. I would recommend this contractor to others. They were not the least expensive quote that I received, but I chose them because they had every detail covered. I am very happy with the work they did.

George Keller and Sons (and daughter) are a nice group of people to work with. Very professional, and show up when they say they'll show up. Neat, clean, and careful. All their workers and subs are polite and pleasant and know what they're doing. Price was reasonable, and materials top notch. Dan Keller has infinite patience answering any/all questions. All concerns were addressed. Wouldn't hesitate to hire them again and I highly recommend them.

George Keller & Sons is a great company to deal with. Dan, the sales representative, thoroughly explained every detail of the work to be done, gave us several options and was not pushy. Maure,in the office, kept us apprised of the installation date as rain kept delaying the project. She was very patient & always responded quickly to any phone calls. The crew arrived ahead of schedule, were very careful to protect the extensive landscape trees, shrubs & many perennials and were all polite and respectful. The workers did a fabulous job installing the roof and a great job of cleaning up afterwards. We were impressed that Mike, the man in charge, actually asked our permission to display a company sign on our property. We would definitely use this company again for future projects.

After getting two estimates that were significantly higher, we went with George J. Keller & Sons. Not only were they much less expensive but they were prompt and got the job done quickly. Everything went very smoothly. The skylight and flashing were done in one morning and he even gave us an assessment on the overall health of our roof, which was very helpful. I would definitely use them again and I plan on using them when the time comes to replace our roof.

It went very well with George J Keller & Sons for roofing and solar panels went very well. He was very knowledgeable. The minute he walked in, he said it is not the roof actually, it is the pipe that's leaking in the roof. 4 weeks later he came and fixed it. I think the last time he came out was in May. It cost about 875. He was extremely knowledgeable. I didn't have to get a quote from other people, when he walked in I could tell that he is a very knowledgeable person, very straight forward. When I will need to replace the roof a few years, maybe 5 years down the road, I will definitely use his service. Also I mentioned that my skylight is a little warmer, he said no, it is mess, no reason to replace it. It is a frame in our door, you have a frame of the skylight, when it was built they used a wooden frame for the skylight, so when it got very hot then it twists, like not really water is leaking or anything like that, better thing to do is when you get a new roof, you replace the frame to a new one, plastic or the new ones they came out of it and that would take care of it. He was very helpful, very professional and a very nice person to deal with. The quality of service is very good, very good. He must have been very busy. I had to wait for 3 or 4 weeks but in fact this is the time taken for this kind of work so I would say good. He was very punctual. He is very professional. I would even recommend him to other people. I didn't get a quote from other people. I was going to a couple of other people but when I saw him, I could tell.

He wasn't the cheapest but for the money and the work on the estimates I received, he was the best. Very nice, professional, good roofing product and good warranty. Would recommend.

They showed up on time, early in the morning, tore the old roof off and replaced with a new roof all in one, albeit long, day. They cleaned up after themselves with minimal bits and pieces left behind. No damage to the shrubs, trees or grass. They were friendly and answered my questions throughout the day. They hauled away all of the trash and left the job site in good shape. My only issue was with the straightness of the shingles on one area of the house. Unfortunately I have to look at it all the time as I can see it from my bedroom window. It's now two years later and have had no leaks or issues.

His price was good, and he was well rated from the neighborhood, but I chose to go with someone else, because I was getting more from him. He gave us a free estimate. They are respectful, they came out, they were punctual, and they didn't seem to hide anything. I could count on them to come.

The job was completed smoothly and professionally. No issues, hiccups or problems at all. The entire job was completed in one day.
