Went to the show room .it add a good selection . Bought the carpet and set the install date . They came on time and did a good job .still looks great

They were wonderful from the beginning. Diane at the store helped us pick out what we were interested in. It was easy because she had so much in the store to look at. Although we spent more money then we had intended the product was beautiful once installed. She helped us save a little money by going with a carpeting that was not the best of the best but still great. So far it still looks brand new and its 4 months later. Dug came to measure and give us the estimate. Patrick and his helper (I'm sorry I just don't remember his name) arrived early. It took nearly all day because of the amount of staples whomever installed the previous carpeting used. Clearly did not know what they were doing with that. They guys did not take lunch. I offered to go pick something up and they said no thanks they would rather just get done and be done for the day. They also showed me how to remove and reinstall my closet sliders. This is our first house so Patrick and i were talking about different things we could do at the house since he remodeled his whole house in the next town over. He gave me some great pointers and referrals too. They also used a wooden transition piece that I had on hand instead of the cheap metal ones. The only thing I was disappointed about was that Diane didn't tell me I needed 1/4 round molding as well. So that was left undone. When I called her to ask about that she told me it would be an additional $80. For the money we spent I thought she should have send Patrick over with some for free. He said it would only take him 15 minutes to do since we didn't even need 16 feet of it. I ended up doing it myself with took me over 2 hours since i had never done trim work before. Dug's Rugs was very very accommodating with coming to give us the estimate and measure and with the gentlemen coming to work. They came the Friday morning after Thanksgiving Day! Which was just perfect for our schedule.

Overall excellent experience.

I usually have my carpets cleaned right after Christmas. I use Doug's Rugs because he is very meticulous, he is respectful and I feel very comfortable with him. He seems honest and does an outstanding job. After trying to use other people I would recommend them to anyone.
