We had our front door and storm replaced along with door frame redone. 3 garage doors and 2 frames. Everything looks beautiful, everything was cleaned up. Very professional highly recommend.

Repairman was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. The home is a rental so he took the time to call owner with issue and even did an eval on the 1 Nd door that was not having a problem. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.

They quoted the wrong deal to me over the phone telling me they will give me $100 off. The price I was suppose to pay for replacing 4 extension springs was 89/each + tax - $100. After waiting 3 weeks because this was a good deal now they say say it was $50 not $100. Had I known this I would have fixed my extension springs way ahead of time.

The TGS representative showed up exactly on time and was very knowledgable and professional in his evaluation of the project and did not try to push me into more expensive options. Two things caused me to not hire them however. First, the quoted price was more than $2,000 higher than an of the other quotes I received for an essentially equivalent product. More importantly however, once it came time to talk about the price, the experience became extremely high pressure and unprofessional. I was told that I didn't need my Angie's List coupon because the salesman could get me "his price which would be better." So he wrote down the list price, crossed it out and wrote down "his price," and then asked me how much below that number I would need the price to go to feel comfortable about the project. I was flustered and gave a number only a few hundred below what "his price" even though that was much more than I wanted to spend (I should have said $10). From there the salesman called his boss a few times and appeared to "haggle" with him on the phone, and wound up giving me a price a few hundred below what I had said, but only if I would commit to signing a contract that night. I made it very clear that was not going to happen, but they continued to press me that I needed to make a decision in the next 24, then 48, then 72 hours. Finally the salesman said he could probably get the price extended to the end of the week (it was a Monday), apparently as a "favor" to me. I understand that material costs can change, but that sort of extreme pressure tactics and price obfuscation are totally unacceptable in my opinion. The company that got the job from me quoted their best price up front, let me know that, and left it with me to consider in private with my wife. Maybe the high-pressure tactics are good for the bottom line, but because of them I will never consider hiring them for any jobs even though I do feel confident that the quality of their work would be high. Customers for life are created by treating people with respect, not by bullying them into making large financial decisions they aren't totally comfortable with.

In this day and age where companies are looking to make an extra dollar or more from work that may not need to be done. Those companies we usually hear about pretty quickly however the great companies like TGS may not receive the kudos they deserve. I used them maybe 2 times both times I gave rave reviews. This time I called on a Sunday intending on leaving a message for a call back. However I actually got someone who wanted to help me over the phone if possible so I could avoid the expense of a home visit. WHAT?? Unheard of?? Yes it was the people at TGS that basically walked me through what to look for and how to fix it. So TGS a big thank you for you wonderful service here at my home and on the phone. Kimberly in the office was friendly and professional. She answered my on-line inquiries right away and made a suggestion for a better deal to help cover the costs of the repairs. Nick arrived on the scheduled date in fact, earlier than expected. He diagnosed the situation within 3 minutes, told me the price and all is done. My door is operating like new, he even lubricated the second garage door for me.

My garage door is a 9X7 and was in need of a new one so I contacted TGS for an estimate. The salesman that came out was Alan and went over the few types of doors I was interested in and took the time to explain. I felt very comfortable with the company and the price that I purchased the door. Took about 4 weeks and they scheduled the install. The installer was professional and very friendly and he had the old door off and the new door up and working in a few hours. The only problem I had they sent a door with out insulation but after a phone call we got the issue resolved. I'm very happy how everything worked out and would recommend to family and friends.

Went well and quickly. They were supposed to change the springs on both doors (only one was broken but the other was worn) and they did not have all of the parts for the 2nd door so they had to come back. But they went out of their way to make it convenient for me when we scheduled the 2nd visit.

Steve was very good and friendly guy and completed the job very professionally and gave a couple of tips on maintenance.

Door was installed and everything seemed fine. After installer left, I was cleaning up, came upon 2 pieces of wood, looked to see where it was from and it was from the wood around the outside of the door. I was never told this even happened. Called the company, was told the charge to repair this is normally $300, but they would repair it for $200. Not sure why I would have to pay for something I didn't break. In the end, my association is going to take care of it. But was not happy with their response to the situation.

Done professionally, and at reasonable price

The entire experience was outstanding!

Repairman replaced rollers, pulleys and cables. I thought it was a bit pricey, considering he was there about 1.5 hrs. and I can't imagine the materials being that expensive. However, the end result was that the door works great. I would recommend and use their services again, will probably need for my other door in the near future.

Very good job, very professional and very quick! One of my garage doors was very worn and I chose to have them replace the old springs and pulleys.

Sal, was a great help, very professional. He put a reinforcement strut and reconnected the arm. Door worked perfectly when it was done. No hassles at all. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to friends/neighbors.

Outstanding.... Starting with great support by the office staff to explain the features and benifits. Second the in-home measurments dicovered two boards that needed to be replaced. Third the installation was performed with pride and professionalism. TGS earned my highest recommendation.

Technician, Nicholas was on time, very professional and throrough. Salesman, Darin was also very professional and knowledgeable. Prices were very competitive.

The customer service is terrible with this company. Some of the technicians I initially interacted with had a bit of an attitude and seemed bothered. Different technicians have informed me of different problems for the same inquiry. I would not recommend this company and would suggest the owner pay closer attention to how his staff handles customers. I guess Bob does not care that my garage is still not working.
