The sales person was patient while we decided on options, the doors were expertly installed, and the price was right. I would recommend TGS to a friend.

Delivery took longer than I expected but job went very well otherwise and I like the heft of the door, think it will hold up well.

Rep. was patient and shared insight into all issues with garage door. Fixed it with no problem and it's perfect!

The technician was extremely helpful in educating me on the door mechanism. He added new springs and lubricated all parts of the door so now I have a door that doesn't wake up the neighborhood when it is opened or closed. Scheduling service was very easy and prompt. I was very pleased with the service received.

The technician did a great job of evaluating the garage doors which are quite old. She recommended replacing the doors due to the age and condition of the doors. I appreciated the technician's honest recommendation about my garage doors.

Very Well. Service man was a professional and very honest. Told me my autokatic garage doors were fine just needed lubricating and he checked the electric light wiring and changed the light bulb.

MOSTLY, EXCELLENT. BUT I ASKED HIM TO SET THE BUTTON IN MY NEW CAR SO THAT I COULD USE IT TO OPEN THE GARAGE DOOR. hE DID THIS IN LESS THAN 30 SECONDS, BUT IT COST AN ADDITIONAL $40 - WHICH I THOUGHT WAS OUTRAGEOUS.

The person from TGS Garages & Doors after inspecting asked me to replace Garage door pulley and Garage door cables. I did not have a clue for what he quoted for this service because this is my first experience with Garage doors. After he left when I checked for the parts of the pulley and cables in Home depot it was 1 tenth of what he charged me. Of course there is labor involved but the price parity was hugeeeee. $7 part he charged for $67 and $20 part he charged $96. They are not honest people to work with. I called several times to see if they address my concerns but they were of no help. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TGS GARAGES & DOORS ANYMORE.

The company sent me an email as soon as I bought the package to set up the work. They came on time and were professional. I did have to negotiate a price for the change in work and in the end I am happy with the work performed.

The company has provided incomplete service. It could be due to growth of service or just sheer incompetence. I ordered a door in the fall of 2016 and it still isn't done. There were at least 5 separate appointments that were canceled due to various reasons. These are the reasons that were given: #1: We were missing a part from the manufacturer, so we need to come back. #2: We got the part but it was damaged in the warehouse. #3: We ordered the door correctly, but the manufacturer sent the wrong frame (its their fault). #4: We have the part but the installer couldn't get the part because his wife was having a baby (this is not made up!). #5: We can't install, the weather is bad (the glue won't take). Looks like I'm out of options?

TGS is the best of the best and their installers even better. We would never go elsewhere for our doors. We had an odd shaped door and the GM personally came out and measured for us and the install took two men all day to install. The results were flawless and worth every penny for the products that were installed. Lots of junk out there but when only the best will do look to TGS for your doors!!

Awesome garage and entry door company! I'm sure I wasn't the easiest to work with on the sales end, but they worked with me and tried to do whatever they could to earn my business. They didn't pressure me into buying anything extra that I didn't request for nor did they pressure me to sign up with them right away. They provided me with so much information regarding the garage doors, entry door, and garage door openers and made sure I was at ease with all the models they recommended. On the installation portion, the 3 guys they sent were fantastic! They came early, explained the whole install, and finished the job with speed and efficiency. TGS has a great staff working for them. Everyone I encountered made sure that I was happy with the portion of the process that they were responsible for.

I purchased the the tune-up request online via Angies List website late on a Fri afternoon and receive call from TGS within 10 minutes to schedule appointment for 12-4 pm on specific date. The Service Rep called that morning and offered to come by that morning if we were available, and we gave him ok. He conducted the inspection and went over in detail with me his findings and recommendations. On the door requiring rebuild it had been about 15-20 years since any work was done. On the other door it had been about 10 years. His recommendations seemed in line with age of doors. He provided detailed estimate and I accepted. He had all parts in his van and completed the work in about 1.5 hours and then went over each item in detail with me. I was very happy with responsiveness, professionalism and quality of work performed. I gave the overall price a B rating b/c end pricing was more than I had anticipated (which may have been on low side) and I had no other estimates to check the pricing I was given. They were here, had been very responsive and I just wanted to get it done.

Arrived on time, did the maintenance as required and explained the current condition of the system.

TGS gave me a service appointment on the day and at the time I requested. Repairman Sal was prompt, courteous, and professional. He explained all the work I'd need done and what it would cost. If he'd been dishonest, he could have talked me into spending a lot more. Very pleased.

Got a phone call from the company within hours of my purchase. Got an appointment several days later. Sal came out promptly, on time. Very professional, nice, explained what needed to be done to correct problems I had. Job completed right then. Would definitely recommend and would hire again.

I agree the door they service probably needed it and the service was done quickly and efficiently. The company and it's representatives were very professional and courteous. I would hire them again.

We called TGS based on Angies List after calling the company that installed our garage door. After a bunch of call to the original vendor to find out that they no longer this and no longer that and would try to do their best and let us know, blah blah blah, ... we then called TGS. TGS sent someone out the same day. In moments, he identified the brand and model of the door, figured out what he needed to order, took a deposit through his iPad and feeling bad that he couldn't do the repair on the spot, he even fixed loud squeaking that the door had been making since it was installed. As promised, he came back a couple of weeks later with the part and he made the repair in a few minutes. Nice to deal with, work looks good, Thank you!

Easy to get pricing, scheduling was quick and simple. Installer arrived on time, did an excellent job, and cleaned up all of the work area. Installer reviewed all options, and programmed everything before leaving. Would definitely recommend this organization again.
