Smooth. The owner came when I was not home. He did a thorough evaluation and gave me a quote at the same day. Booked an appointment, the workers came and finished the work in two days, and left my garage and driveway clean.

You can often judge a company by how they handle things when things go wrong. One of the units originally ordered did not fit. There was no fuss; the company took the blame, ordered the new cabinetry, and had everything ordered and installed properly within days. The entire job was installed professionally and to my exact specifications (and I'm picky -- don't be afraid to be picky with these guys!) and I LOVE my garage. I would highly recommend Joe as well as the installers he sent to implement the design. Encore's prices were also a good 10 to 20% better than estimates I got from other vendors on similar garage cabinetry and slatwall.

The process was very smooth. Joe Fay (owner) came over to my house and spent over an hour with me discussing options, showing me samples of floors and cabinets and then took another 30 minutes creating a design on his laptop along with a costing. Since I had already had another estimate from another company, I accepted Joe's design and estimate since it was substantially cheaper and yet offered just about as much as the other company. They started work within about three weeks of signing the contract but this delay was due to having to schedule painters to do the walls and ceiling first. The job was done in two days and we could park our cars on the new floor after a further two days. Before, during and after, Denise (owner's wife and partner) called regularly to check in and make sure all was well - good follow up. All in all, we are very pleased with it and would definitely use them again.
