Description of Work: Removed unwanted items from my garage. Per my husband who was there, Affordable Spacemakers was very punctual, and took no time with the removal and would used them for other projects as outlined in their brochure.

Description of Work: They removed a demolished shed and lumber from a small deck that I demolished and some miscellaneous items from my garage. They were on time, quick and cleaned all areas very nicely. My only issue was with the price, the special said 99.00 and though I knew I had more than the advertised amount of debris the total charge seems a bit on the high side. I have to say I did not get other pricing but it only took the guys about an hour to load up and leave. I believe that I would use them again but next time I would be sure to get competitive pricing.

Description of Work: To be fair, I think I booked the wrong help for my situation. It could have been done by one man with a pick-up truck in less than a half hour. Instead, a half mile long truck appeared with 6 men...! What I expected to be about $100.00 already paid for to Angie's list, turned out to be three times as much... If I ever need that kind of service I will have no hesitation to call on them. This time, though, it was overkill. Very nice people, but I felt the job was too small for their usual effort and pay.

Description of Work: Purchased a special for $89 for a pickup trucks worth of garbage. When he arrived he said it was only for a " refrigerator " amount of garbage. I needed a pickup truck load of old boxes and household debris removed. He wanted another $300! On top of the $89. I had plans for the garage to I gave him another $200. I regret giving in and feeling scammed but I just needed the garbage gone. However I would never call them again.

Description of Work: I re-did a room in my house and was getting rid of an old, large console television set and some other things. Affordable Spacemakers returned my initial call very quickly, came when they said that they would and hauled away everything I needed them to. Would definitely recommend them.

Description of Work: I purchased a deal for $99 for Junk Hauling and Removal. They have been very responsive so far. They were prompt in scheduling a day and time to come out for the service. I am looking forward to the service being completed.

Description of Work: They removed rugs, padding, garbage and accumulated stuff from renovations |done in a new house that I purchased. What would have taken my husband and I more than a month to clear out, they had it done in 45 minutes. They swept out my garage and left it looking like new. I would gladly hire them again.

Description of Work: Removed items from an upstairs bedroom, basement and garage. Spoke with them day before they arrived and told them exactly where these items were, when they arrived they told me it would cost another $250.00 because his men had to go up and down the stairs. I did pay for this as I wanted to get rid of the items. He should have told me this on the phone when we spoke and did not. This is totally unprofessional and I will never use them again nor will I recommend them to anyone. Had I not told him where the items were located I could maybe understand the added cost, but he knew and I feel I was taken advantage of.

Description of Work: THE PRICE WAS DECEIVING FOR THE AMT, ONLY ABLE TO TAKE A LOVESEAT, MEASURED THE LOVESEAT, CHARGED EXTRA FOR COUCH AND CORNER CABINET. HAD A BIG TRUCK AND A EXTRA ROOM, JUST WANTED MORE MONEY. I SUGGEST TO GET A FLAT RATE, AS I SAID THIS WAS TO BE DONATED, THE PRICE WAS HIGH FOR 3 PIECES. IF I HAD KNOWING THAT THEY WOULD ONLY TAKE THE LOVESEAT, I WOULD OF NEVER PURCHASED FROM SPACEMAKERS MOVERS. I WOULD OF CHOSE ANOTHER COMPANY , SINCE I PAID ANGIE LIST, I FELT THAT I HAD TO CONTINUE TO PAY TO GET WHAT I NEEDED TO BE MOVED OUT.

Description of Work: When the owner called me to schedule the pickup I told him exactly what I had ... a 3 cu. yd. "dumpster in a bag" full of construction debris. He should have told me at that time that there was going to be a $59 fuel surcharge for him to drive his truck here (or anywhere, for that matter - he says he gets 4 mpg.) HE DIDN'T. He told me when he was standing in my living room while the truck idled outside. Got stairs, it's another $59. He said he told the Angie's list people that there is a fuel surcharge and they declined to put it in the listing. So the Big deal for $99 is actually $158. You just don't KNOW it. No complaints with the work... they took the debris quickly and neatly, and I saved a bit over having it picked up by the dumpster company.

Description of Work: Boss came with 5 helpers. i had previously mentioned need to move small organ from 2nd floor. No indication given that this was not covered by Angie cost for 3 cubic yards of junk but would cost $250. Also estimate of volume of wood junk removed was very favorable to the provider resulting in a total cost of $375 + $99 = $474
