I had previously refinanced through Advisors Mortgage (David Wicki Jr.) who is based out of Middletown NJ. I got married and decided to move. I was promised that this would be no problem. My wife and I got pre-approved and began the 45 day long process of closing the loan. We were told the best idea would be to rent out our current townhouse. This was accomplished a week before the closing date. Unfortunately, David Wicki was not returning our phone calls or emails. After 4 days I called the Company HQ in Wall Twp and I still couldn't get a call back. Saturday afternoon (6 days later) he called me back and told me that the loan did not make it through the underwriting process. Although we met the financial requirements, the company was not going to finance the new house and the one that we were renting out. Long story short, we had to go through another company and wait another 45 days, (during Hurricane Sandy no less) to close . Luckily we were successful, but our new mortgage broker, lawyer, and real estate agent said that any experienced loan officer should have known in advance of this issue, or at least checked with the underwriters first. Because of David Wicki my wife and I were displaced for over a month and didn't even get an apology or a solution. Do not use this company.
