We are very pleased with the high level of customer service received from the closet factory team towards the renovation of our closet. Laura and the team ensured the process was smooth right from the beginning to the end. We also go bumped up and got our reno done a bit sooner than planned. We would recommend closet factory for your closet renovations.

Shirley my installer did a fantastic job where she carefully examined and drew up the plans to make sure our storage needs were throughly met. My home was built in the mid 1950s and severely lacks closet space. Shirley was able to work with us and come up with a plan where we could maximize closet space without sacrificing too much living space. The installers were punctual and professional. At the time of the installation, we found out that one of the far side doors hit a window while opening. They quickly made adjustments to fit the closet in correctly. I got a few more quotes from competing vendors, but I found Closet factory gets the most value for the buck. They also offer lot more color choices than their competitors so it blends well with existing furniture. They also provide a tax form if they find the project meets the state requirements for capital improvement. I am now in the process of doing my 2nd project with closet factory for the rest of the bedrooms.

The sales person was excellent in every regard. She was patient, consultative, and very responsive. The only reason I would not give A's across the board is because there was some communication issues with what was to be done and the people doing the work. So, every detail was not completely known, and some some on the job adjustments/changes needed to be made. It was a bit frustrating. However, management addressed my issues quickly and very professionally.

At the suggestion of a friend I decided to go with Closet Factory and boy am I glad I did! My designer Isabelle was so friendly, on-time, and really helped me understand every step of the process. She was excellent at helping me make decisions that would help me keep my design under my budget. I loved all the options for how I could personalize the space, from picking the colors and materials all the way to handles and door styles. The installers were company employees, which I liked because I've had bad experiences with outsourced work. They were friendly, very clean, and the installation only took a day and a half. Would definitely recommend Closet Factory to anyone who's reading this. Very professional!

Great company... great experience! From the designer coming to my home and measuring to the installers making everything come to life - I couldn't be happier! I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to renovate their closets, laundry room or any other space in their home.

Closet Factory was very professional from the initial design meeting to the actual installation. Our closet space, while roomy, posed some design challenges. The designer was very skillful at constructing a practical solution incorporating all our wishes. While the material is not solid wood but a composition board, it has a finished surface in one of their various choices of wood colors. Solid wood would be quite a bit costlier. Even then, the price for this kind of service and product can quickly add up, however. We had one problem after installation regarding a frame that abutted a door frame. It was quickly resolved. We are very happy with the design, finished product, and service and would recommend them to others.

The installation was scheduled for a Friday between 9-11 a.m. At 10:45 when no one had arrived and I had not heard anything from the office, I called to inquire about the status of the installation. I was told that the installer was backed up and that I would get a call back with the new arrival time. An hour later, having still heard nothing, I called again to find out when they would be arriving. At that point, 11:45 a.m., I was told that it would be at least another hour and a half before he arrived (approximately 1:15 p.m.). I asked that the office call me half an hour before his expected arrival to ensure that I would be home as I had things to do that day. At 2:30 p.m. I had still heard nothing. When I called at that point I was told that he would be there within 15 minutes. He finally showed up around 2:45 p.m. with no apology or explanation for the significant delay. As if the late arrival wasn't annoying enough, after the installer finished installing the shelving and had brought his tools to the truck I inspected the shelves and observed that they were noticeably tilted/mis-leveled. To confirm this, I used my own level and confirmed a significant slant. When the installer came back in with a vacuum I brought the issue to his attention and he claimed that he was "going to fix that". He then brought his tools back in and spent another 30 minutes re-installing the unit. Clearly he had no intention of fixing the shelves and would not have done so if I had not challenged it. When he finished, the shelves were level but there was a noticeable gap at the base of the unit between the side and the floor (3/4"). I asked if they could fill it and the installer said he would order a filler, which they would have to come back to install. I withheld part of the final payment to ensure that they would return with the filler. I received two calls about rescheduling that appointment, both last minute and both at times that I was unavailable. I then got an email from the President of the company about my "outstanding past due balance". I wrote back and explained the entire situation to him. He did not even have the courtesy to respond. Instead, he had an assistant email me to schedule the appointment. She offered me another 90 minute window when they could come to reinstall, which I rejected. Given that I wasted an entire day waiting for the first install I had no intention of doing so again. After significant negotiation I was able to get them to come at a time that was convenient and they installed the filler. This company clearly does not know the meaning of customer service and has no concept of communication. All I wanted was a phone call on the date of the install explaining that they were running late and giving me a new ETA. Instead, i had to call numerous times and every time was given misinformation. The installer did a poor job and left a mess. The President only cares about his bottom line and not about customer retention or good word of mouth. From top to bottom this company is terrible and I would NOT recommend using them.

I was very pleased with my closet installation. Closet Factory's representative and closet organizer Jacque, came to my house and measured my children's closets, taking careful notice of exactly what items my children needed to store. She worked up a design that would fit in my budget and we picked the color "Almond", because stark white didn't look right with our paint and decor. Almond is softer, and for those who have little girls, Almond is the color Barbie uses in her own "dream closet". The closet installer was there one week later, within the time frame the company said he would, and was able to complete installation of two closets within about 4-5 hours. There was a minor thing I did not like, and that was that the installer was eating snacks/food in my kids' bedroom during installation. I don't allow food in any room outside the kitchen dining area, my own children are not even allowed to eat snacks in their bedroom because I am afraid bugs will show up to eat the crumbs. However, I didn't say anything to the installer because I felt bad for him. He was working pretty hard, and was constantly getting interrupted with phone calls during the work, I figured I'd just let it go. (I also am wondering if the installation would have taken less time had he not been so hounded with phone calls during the install.) I just made sure to vacuum the bedroom after he left, but next time I will try to tell installers that food is not allowed in the bedrooms. Other than that, I was happy with the design, and the install, and my kids love their new closet. I would recommend working with Jacque and Closet Factory again.

The Closet Factory renovated an old bedroom closet by designing and installing new melamine hanging bars and shelves. The final product is ok, but the overall experience was unprofessional in more ways than one. First the designer encouraged us not to get a backing because it was unnecessary when installing a white closet against white closet walls. That makes sense, but on the day of the installation, the installer took one look at our old cracked plaster closet walls and said we needed to have the melamine backing installed. So the installer went off for a couple of hours to pick up the backing at the factory 30 minutes away. We did not mind the extra cost of $279, but we should have been told about this problem at the outset. After a couple more hours of work, the installer told us that the design was faulty because the closet shelves as designed would extend out beyond the doorway of the closet. The designer had never discussed that with us, and we certainly did not want it. So the installer had to return to the factory again to correct this error. Then the installer returned and completed the job. A job that the installer said should have taken a couple of hours ending up taking more than ten hours. When it was done, we realized that there was a gap at the bottom between the backing and the floor where a kickplate should go, and when we asked about it, the installer said that a kickplate would be extra, and we should call the company another day to have the work done if we wanted it. Again, we would not have minded paying extra to make it look better, but that option had never been raised before, so we thought we were getting backing that extended all the way to the bottom of the closet. The final straw came when the installer refused to take away the few pieces from the old closet that had been removed as part of the renovation (a shelf and three wooden racks with hooks in them). My wife had specifically asked the designer if all the old materials would be taken away and we had received an affirmative reply. But the installer told us that unless it said so on the contract (which it did not), it could not be done. So all in all, it was a pretty unprofessional job, and I would not recommend this company to others.
