Ned's Power Washing

They cleaned the gutter on a 4 bedroom colonial. I thought the price was fair. They were very responsive. They did exactly what they said they would do and let they left something in my mailbox.

Came right after called, cleaned and flushed out the gutters. Did a great job. I dd think that the price was a little too much for a small, one level house.

They do a nice job except one time, they went to my neighbor's house by mistake.

Have been using Ned Stevens for gutter maintenance for years and recently had a large section of gutter break free from the second story of my home. It was hanging precariously down the full height of the exterior and threatening to do further damage to my home. Their reps responded to my concerns quickly and scheduled an expedited replacement based on same. Work was done on time, looks great and based on past experience/repairs I fully expect this to be a lasting and satisfactory replacement. I can recommend Ned Stevens for overall quality and consistently good work at a fair price.

Response to my intial phone call was immediate. I could not be home for the scheduled estimate but fund it waiting for me in mailbox that afternoon. Icalled to schedule service...and date was set. The week before I got a call saying that they had an opening in their schedule and could the following day, which worked out fine for me. I was given a 9am-12 pm window and workers showed uo promptly at 11 and got right to work. I was pleased to smell a bleach additive as they power washed as areas of my siding were covered in mold. The workers were polite, professional and efficient. The entire job was completed in just over one hour. I will definitely call on Ned Stevenes again in the future.

They were fast and professional, the price was great, and they were efficient.

They set up a time they leave the bill in my mailbox so it's convenient. They come when they say they'll come they do a good job.

We’ve used them several times and always had good experiences. They're proactive in terms of letting us know when service is due, the workers are always professional and experienced, and they take great care when doing the cleanings which we appreciate.

They were very good and reasonably priced.

How rude, inconsiderate and unprofessional to show up without prior notification and authorization on a Sunday morning at 0815! And then I called them and spoke to their scheduler and though apologetic he stated that this was their normal practice. Furthermore he said that they would not consider looking into changing this practice and to add icing to this stale cake would be charging me for the work done! I immediately fired them from future work ( I had been a regular year round customer for several years). Go elsewhere.

My problem is with the scheduling. They are unable to give a date until the day before. Can't give a timeframe at all, not even AM or PM. They can't call 30 minutes before coming, either, so I can return from my volunteer time planned for the day. The utilities don't schedule this poorly. The phone operators keep on stating that "No one needs to be home." Would you want a bunch of guys walking around on your roof without being at home? Besides, it's December, and my hoses are already off for the winter, so I need to be there to turn them on. They won't replace a couple of screen replacement sections I picked up at Home Depot, they "have to use their own$$."

Showed up within 3 days of scheduling an appointment,did a very thorough job on the gutters and cleaned up beautifully.

I have used this service for over 10 years without any big problems but their quality has gone totally downhill. They missed their appointment in December saying they were backed up because of weather. I would normally be understanding of that except that it was so late in the season and I really needed my gutters cleaned so i could have my sprinklers blown out and shut the water (which they normally need for cleaning the gutters). The operator was rude and said they wouldn't even give me an idea when they would show up. So because of the bad weather i felt pressure to call another company to get it done before my sprinklers froze. I had already got it done - then Ned Stevens shows up A WHOLE MONTH LATE, without a confirmed appointment, and without calling first to see if i still needed them a month later. They presumably cleaned my gutters again. But they had no access to water at that time because my sprinklers were closed. Didn't want them at that point job was already done. They want to get paid for doing nothing of value to me and are hounding me like a bank would on a foreclosed house. Because of this I will end my 10 year relationship with them. very short sighted of them.

I first noticed that their price increased from November 2013. I can understand that. However, when I pulled up to my home after they did the work, I noticed that the roof valley had not been cleared of minor tree debris. When I checked the side of the house, that valley was also not cleaned. After phoning Ned Stevens about this, the rep told me that cleaning those two valleys would be an additional $25.00, which surprised me. The valleys were always cleaned in previous work, and I could not find any information online (see their FAQS) about an additional $25.00 for valleys. When I saw their receipt for work done on 6/20/14, parts of the receipt were illegible. Something happened to the machine printing it. Without the $4.75 Senior Discount that I requested and received, the bill would have come to $102.78. I feel that this is a lot, considering that now the valley debris will fall into the gutter once it rains heavily. I'm disappointed. Finally, some of the debris from the house front cleaned gutter fell onto the concrete driveway. This was not washed away, as they did last time. Maybe it was just this crew that showed up. I'm currently looking for another company. My small house, with no gutters to clean on either side of the house, just front and back, on a 100x100 lot, should not cost this much to have its gutters cleaned--especially when one gutter has a gutter guard that needs no cleaning. Perhaps Ned Stevens is taking customers to the cleaners.

Cancelled the service order due to not being pleased with their professionalism

They come twice a year to us methodically. They are excellent. They come out sometimes and we are not even here. The place is cleaned up. They blow up the leaves. They do a really good job. We are very satisfied with them. We never had a problem with them.

Would not give me any information, and wanted me to measure the gutters myself.

We requested gutter cleaning service and understood they would be contacting us to arrange a date. We never heard back, and after three weeks of waiting we had another company clean the gutters. The day after the gutters just been cleaned, we were appalled to find an expensive bill in our mailbox from Ned Stevens, indicating they had cleaned the gutters. We reached out to the company, and the front-line office staff argued that we were at fault for not canceling the service, and therefore we owed the money (instead of acknowledging that their foreman had charged for a job that was already done). At their request, we faxed a copy of the bill for gutter cleaning completed the prior day by the other company; though their office staff continued with the same logic. Eventually, to our satisfaction, the company leadership agreed to drop the charges; though the entire experience makes us question the honesty of the company.

When told that some gutter work was needed, the prices quoted were almost as high as getting new leaders and gutters. When I asked for them to provide more concise explanations regarding their repair quotes, they didn't get ack to me on 2 occasions. Would never use them again.

This company is a ripoff. Do not use. The charge for service they claim they do when the business owner is not home.

It's been unseasonally cold here, so they weren't able to perform the service as scheduled. The first warm day, a Sunday!, they came and did the job.

TWO MEN SHOWED UP AT 8:20 AM and went to work with amazing efficiency. They thoroughly cleaned and hosed down (with their own hoses) 82 feet of 2nd floor gutters in under 30 minutes. All downspouts were flowing freely. They made sure to clean all pine needles and leaves off the roof as well as clean out the gutters. They were extremely conscientious in cleaning up around the house, using both a blower and lawn rakes. All for $91.00 plus tax for up to 100 ft of gutter! Absolutely a great, professional job! They definitely make their competitors look bad.

4 guys came promptly. Were all professional and knew what they were doing. Everything looks great. I felt price was high but I took a chance that they would be better than the last person I had who did not have a big crew nor the machinery that Ned Stevens had. I am very happy with the job they did and would definitely use them again.
