J&M Cooling and Heating is an example of a very well run service company. Their staff is well trained and polite. Their prices are competitive. This company puts the con in contractor. They make up price as they go along and will con you into non existing issues with your unit . They only offer you the options of cash or cc at a 5% surcharge. 2023 and they don't have modern payment system. They get you in bind and rip you off. Charged me over 400$ for a 30$ thermostat install when i already had a Nest installed. Used them for 2 different jobs and had issues with both. Would not recommend .

Called J&M to replace a 50 Gal water heater that PSEG said I had. Technicians arrived on time and geared up with Covid protections only to find out that we needed a 75 Gal water heater. The team at J&M jumped on it and within the hour had a replacement. They laid out covers, cleaned the area, and tested everything before leaving. Quality job by this team. Theyâ ve earned my trust and continued business. Thnx.

They made time for us in a busy season

I got a near immediate call back from John, one of the owners, when my Central A/C failed Thursday night before Labor Day weekend. I was able to get a service call the next day, with an accurate diagnosis, a clear explanation of the root cause and what needed to be done, and a fair estimate. The repair required a part from the manufacturer which was delivered next business day. John immediately called and installed the part within a few hours, honoring the estimate and doing the job right the first time. My experience was that the owners were highly competent, ethical and provide excellent customer service. I strongly recommend J&M.
