Movers showed up ahead of time. Packing was done quickly and professionally. A few odds and ends were damaged in the move but all the big stuff was moved without damage. They boxed items that needed to be boxed up to move and protected all furniture with pads. Good, quick professional job

They were very professional and worked very fast. They ended up finishing the job an hour before actually planned. All the workers treated our stuff carefully and found no problems after moving in. They were even able to do things that I didn't think they would be able to do.

It was a cold day, however, the men showed up on time. It was a little more complicated than anticipated. I have an older home so it was a challenge to get some pieces out. The lead mover made a decision to call in a 4th person to help the move. It took a little longer than anticipated, but all was very smooth and very organized.

The transaction went smoothly, the workers were kind and professional. The price was less then quoted - very happy. Definitely would hire again!

I didn't use them but should have which is why I wanted to write a review. They came in higher priced but they probably do a better job than who I hired. Just fair to get that out there. They explained how they would protect our belongings and that wasn't done with other provider.

Perfect! The team was neat, attentive to detail, energetic and anxious to do even more than we expected. No damage what so ever.

The First Class Movers team was fantastic. All of their employees were friendly, respectful and professional. They did a fantastic job! This was my second time using this moving company and I would definitely recommend their services.

First Class Movers carefully wrapped my furniture and loaded everything on their trucks. At the storage unit, they unloaded and placed everything in the storage units. The moving men were on time, and certainly enthusiastic and energetic about their work. The entire operation was done to my satisfaction. I did not at any time during the move have any regrets that I engaged this company to do the move. The moving personnel knew what they were doing and I basically just had to allow them to do their job and meet them at the storage unit at a prescribed time. The move went smoothly. I do not recall the names of the workers but I do commend their hard work. I would certainly call upon First Class Movers the next time I need a moving company.

Originally, we had planned to pack and move a week earlier. Curtis was prompt (on a weekend!) in getting back to me to accommodate pushing the packing/moving to the following week. They were even more accommodating when last minute I asked them to make another stop to my son's house to drop some items off the following morning before travelling on to Cape May. The team of 4 showed up on schedule the first day and immediately went into action. I have moved many times in my life and have never seen a moving company pack furniture so carefully the way First Class Movers do. They shrink wrapped all of the upholstered furniture and then wrap with furniture blankets. This ensures that the upholstery stays clean and unmarred. I have a number of antiques that are family heirlooms. These were given special attention and wrapped and blanketed especially carefully--they arrived in the same condition they were packed in. The team was professional and efficient. The next day, despite traffic and road closures, the moving team showed up as scheduled, calling me in advance to alert me. The guys managed to move a full size sleeper sofa up two flights of stairs without hitting any walls. All-in-all, an exceptional job and I am so glad I hired them!

Price was higher than estimated, but they were professional and very careful.

I called this company for an estimate after reading the reviews on Angie's list. And it was a great experience from start to finish!! These guys are real professionals and their customer service is impeccable! The estimate was done quickly and on a computer and they immediately printed it out for me so I could go over all the charges and compare them to the other estimates I had received. Price was comparable and they recommended to make the move over 2 days as the days were short and we had about 2 trucks full of stuff. (When I asked other companies if it would be better do the move over 2 days they agreed but none of them had suggested it). I called First Class Movers a few times with question regarding the packing (I was packing myself) and the date (we weren't sure we would be closing on the new house in time) and they always responded promptly and in a courteous way. On the day of the move only 4 guys showed up perfectly on time, and since there were supposed to be 5 of them each day, I asked them where the 5th guy was. They told me that one could not make it because he was sick and they would come back the day after with 6 guys, to make up for the missing guy on the first day. The 4 of them worked so hard and fast on the first day, that they still managed to move 2 1/2 floors of stuff! On the second day, as promised 6 of them showed up and it went even faster than the previous day. They were amazingly organized. They wrapped all the furniture, they carefully loaded the truck and nothing got damaged. When they arrived at our new house, they put all the furniture where we ask them to put them and all the boxes in the right rooms. Most impressively, they managed to move my husband huge and very heavy antique desk from the 2nd floor of the brownstone to the second floor of the new house, which has a very narrow and twisted hallway! It was amazing to see how they maneuvered the desk this way and that until it finally fit into the new room. I thought we had to find another place for it, but somehow they made it fit!! Now I know I'll have to call them for sure when I'll move out, because I don't think any other movers will be able to get it out of there!!! The guys that did the move were great and really nice! And best of all they did it so fast and efficiently that the estimate turned out to be $200 higher of what I did pay!! So in the end, not only they were great at moving, but they also saved me money compared to other companies. I highly recommend them.

They came twice to make sure they gave us an appropriate quote and all their guys were courteous and friendly. Moving occurred over 2 days with 5 guys. There was rain and traffic at the George Washington bridge but we still managed to get most of it done. Every issue was corrected easily and the owner is very fair. This is a great company with good people running it. We would definitely use them again if we needed to move

Very professional the whole way through. The estimate process with the sales rep was a pleasant experience. Explains how they work and answered all of my questions. Provided an estimate quickly. Moving crew was also very professional. They work fast and careful. No scratches, dents, or damages goods.

Truly first class!! Easy to schedule [and reschedule as closing date issues kept us guessing]; Respond to every phone call; Right on time; Nothing lost or damaged or even scratched; Neat, pleasant crew; Resonable cost -- exactly the same as the estimate. I'd use them again in a NY minute.

It went really well. The crew was very professional, very accommodating on where things would go in the new place, and came in under the estimate. Was really a great experience.

The move went very well. The four man team showed up on time, and promptly began moving our possessions into their truck. Every piece of furniture was either wrapped in plastic or covered with padded blankets to protect it during the moving process. Our furniture included an upright piano, and had to be moved from a second floor apartment (with a tight turn on the stairwell), into a multistory house. Watching them move the piano was a revelation - it's very heavy, and required tremendous teamwork from the four man crew to shepherd it down stairs to the truck. Our movers were very flexible about our needs, and were able to make a detour to our storage unit to collect it's contents (we had requested this in advance). Our movers were extremely polite and professional, as well as incredibly hard working, and never complained about anything, even the piano. I got tired just watching them move our stuff - I have no idea how they do it!

Angie's List set me up with the best thing. They were very understanding. They didn't let me help them and they even kept me from falling once which would have been devastating. It was First Class Movers. They were excellent. Three guys had a truck and we did the move in 9:30 to 2:30. Considering that I am tight on money, they're charge was good. I would absolutely use them again. I even have the phone number of the guy because he said he could help me in other areas.

From the beginning, a First Class was a pleasure to work with. Our representative, Curtis, provided us with a very detailed estimate that turned out to be amazingly detailed and accurate. The crew showed up on time and worked very diligently the whole day. They disassembled all of the large office furniture, wrapped everything, I mean everything, in moving blankets and carefully loaded it all into their two trucks. The crew was really amazingly! They were so careful. First Class was not the low bid, but they were fairly priced, but considering all of the reviews that I read about the other movers that I interviewed and all of the horror stories that I have heard, they were they most reliable and careful. We were very happy that we hired this moving company and would do it again without hesitation. I do not give recommendations lightly, but they made this move simple and painless.

Selling, buying, closing, contractors, and moving is enough to give anyone agita. You know the horror stories about movers, and can?t help but to be a little skeptical of reviews and salesmen. I get it. I?m one of you. Let me tell you, though, these guys are phenomenal. They made one of the most stressful things someone can deal with completely bearable, and ? dare I say ? a pleasure. Our crew was Victor (driver / foreman), Manuel, Jose, and another incredible guy who?s name evades me (feel horrible, because this guy was a work horse). They were prompt, courteous, professional, and hard working. They took care of our things as if they were their own. Their attention to the smallest detail was pretty nuts ? from methodically wrapping every piece of furniture, to the care with which they handled our fragile boxes, mirrors, and televisions. On behalf of my wife and I, as well as our 5 year-old and 2-year old, THANK YOU. If we ever need movers again in the future I know who I?m calling and I look forward to recommending you guys. PS: Fix the air conditioning in your truck. Despite it being on the fritz, your crew didn?t miss a beat.

Amazing experience and they made the moving process so easy! The team arrived on time and quickly started wrapping and taking care of the furniture. They were quick, professional, personable and helped us with things that they didn't need to help us with (e.g. rolling out and laying down an area rug in the new house, which was something they didn't even move). We had several pieces of glass furniture that I was very nervous about being moved, and they took extra care with the wrapping and the moving of the items. Prior to going to our house they had to stop at my sister's house to pick up a piece of furniture and they were in and out before we could even get there to help. We were quoted for an 8 hour move, however they finished in approximately 4.5 hours. We provided drinks and lunch for the team and they were greatly appreciative of it, and didn't linger with any breaks or transports. I gave them a "B" for price, only because we moved on one of the busiest weekends of the year and the prices overall were increased across companies, but after seeing how quickly and carefully they moved everything, they were worth every penny! Overall, a great experience and company, highly recommend!

I purchased the big deal for 472.50 which included 3 hours with 3 men. 4 men Arrived 15 min late then took a 30 min lunch after only working for 10 min. It was only a 3 hour job and it was verbally promised due to the short length that no breaks would be taken..when I emailed to complain the company rep retracted his agreement in a reply email by saying he never mentioned that. Then I called and complained to make note of their departure. It was one of the main questions I had during the in home estimate so it was definitely discussed beforehand. In reality it took Only 2 hours to move from apartment to house 7 miles away and 15 min travel time. In the final bill, which was prewritten, they tried to charge for the extra man, 30 min travel and 3 hours of moving...which conveniently would have put them into another hour to charge an extra $135. But because I caught on early and complained right away I was not charged anything extra. My advice: Get everything in writing during the home estimate including "no breaks" and "no extra people" Mark the start and end time as well as travel time for everything in an email to the company as its happening. Dispute if they send an extra guy or do anything other than what was initially promised. They will try to milk more cash from you.

I cannot say enough about what a wonderful experience I had with this group. They are professional courteous, hard working and go above and beyond for their clients. I had a difficult closing and my moving date kept shifting and they worked with me got everything done and were cheaper than many of their competitors. Their name says it all they truly are a first class company, I would not hesitate to use them again and would recommend them without hesuitation.
