FIRST CLASS MOVERS INC

This was a great move. From Curtis who came to give us an estimate to Victor and his crew (Alfredo, Carlos 1 and 2, Xavier and Jorge) they did a fantastic job. They were professional, friendly and took great care with our belongings. The first day of the move it was pouring rain and it didn't slow them down a bit. We love these guys and will be calling them again for our final move. The estimate turned out to be more than the final cost so we were pleasantly surprised.

I received a confirmation call the day prior with a 1 hr window of when they'd arrive.  They called as they were enroute the next day to give me an arrival time and that's exactly when they showed up.    I was told the move would take 8.5 hrs with 4 men, due to moving into a building with an elevator, and that's exactly the time taken.    The estimate was 100% accurate and I would happily use this company again

I assisted my sister-in-law who has aphasia ( language disorder from a stroke) in finding  just the right movers and so glad I chose First Class Movers, She was moving from Union NJ and I was there for the move. Curtis was EXTREMELY helpful to her answering all questions, with patience, and honoring all promises, including honoring the senior discount. There were no surprises, hidden costs or made -up fees.  These guys were professional, showed up on time, neat appearance, and were very courteous. They immediately went right to work, shrink-wrapping and padding the furniture with amazing speed and care.  Considering how hot it was, I was  impressed with their work ethic, working quickly and efficiently without complaint. They took care not to damage the walls and laid a protective covering on the newly-installed hardwood floors. The job was finished in the estimated time approx 3 1/2 hrs.  Next week will be part  2 of the move from the storage to Toms River and I will post that review as well. In addition since I will be moving from Brooklyn to Toms River,  I decided to hire them for me. That move is scheduled for next week as well and I will post a review on my move as well.

It went great. No need to look any further, these guys are professionals. Curtis is a Class A sales rep who is responsive and accomodating. The guys that move your furniture are equally professional. I was afraid that burly dredge of society (possibly out on parole) were going to show up at my door but instead 5 well mannered, uniformed gentlemen led by a foreman (Daniel) carefully packed and moved our home and worked tireless for almost 8 hours.
I used them again two weeks later for a smaller move from our storage unit to our home and it was a new team who were just as professional.
Great hiring guys! I will sing your praises to anyone that I know needs a quality moving company.

They were recommended by my real estate broker. The came and gave me an estimate shortly after I called. We set the moving dates but I had to change them several times as my new place was not ready. When the moving was firmed up it was the busiest time of the month yet they accommodated me. They were different than other movers in that they were willing to say if we break it we fix it not the 60 cents per pound insurance. They also were willing to they the move would not exceed their estimate by 10%. The cost of the move came in 20% below their estimate which estimate was he same or lower than estimates from other movers. I can only say good things about my experience with them.,

They came in, they packed very professional and they handled everything great. They packed everything with care. They even put runners on the floor and they cleaned up after themselves. They were very diligent and they actually got everything done. They started at about 8:30 and I would say by 12:00 they were done, which is pretty good. And I had my stuff in storage and everything was completed by 1:30, which was excellent. They moved everything. I didn't pack and I didn't move a thing in my car. They put everything in the truck. The owner of the company, Mike, called me during the moving process just to make sure everything was going OK, which I've never experienced before. And he actually came out to do the estimate and he explained to me the employee that was scheduled to come out that day couldn't make it, so he came out himself and did the estimate for me.

The packing and the move went flawlessly.  Everything was packed neatly with all of the boxes appropriately  marked.  All of the furniture was protected and delivered with no damage.  The men who did the job were very professional, friendly and helpful with their recommendations.  The packing on Friday took about three or four hours but since it was a flat rate it didn't really matter. The move went very well.  The workers were efficient and timely and they actually arrived at our  new house at the same time we did.  The entire move took about seven hours from start to finish and the final price was about $50 higher than the estimate. Overall they did an excellent job and I would recommend them to anyone else.
If I had to think of one small negative it would be that some of the items that they didn't pack on Friday (the day prior to the move), we had them pack on Saturday and there was an additional charge for that (not part of the flat rate).  Had we realized that we might have had them just pack everything on the Friday before the move.  The price difference was nominal, about $80, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time.  
Otherwise, everything was excellent and I would definitely use them again

They were outstandingly responsive to work with---we needed to reschedule twice due to schedule conflicts here at home  A pleasure to do business with these people, and will use them again for some upcoming projects.  Lots of thanks to Curtiss!!

I decided to go with this company who was more expensive then most other companies because they assured me it would be a first class experience.  Let me just say I have moved more than most people in the last 8 years I have moved 6 time 2 have been work related to other states from NYC and back.  I dont know if its a NJ thing but the movers took literally 8 breaks in the 8 hours they moved us for 15 - 20 minutes they would all go sit in the truck I've never seen that.  They where slow and I didnt find them to be very good at moving the furniture and putting it together.   I have used Moishes in NY alot and maybe they are just very good but in comparison the experience was frustrating.  The movers where very nice but the experience was not first class in anyway.  Some of my furniture had minor damage, they had no clue how to put together my coffee table after they took it apart and it was BEYOND SLOW.

Arrived on time.  Had difficulty with large piece of furniture going around stairwell, but company was able to do it with care - and it was a difficult feat!  Men were great.  Owner great guy - friendly, courteous and caring.  Will diffinitely recommend and use in the future.

The move went very well.  There was no damage, the movers were very professional and the cost was reasonable.

Overall th move was managed efficiently and professional.

First class lived up to their name by providing complete moving service.

The move went extremely well. No unforseen problems and even if there were, I am certain they would have been easily resolved. All three movers were cooperative and professional. I would definitely use them again and made a note of the company name and phone number.

Everything went as planned

They are very professional. The person who came out to give the estimate was nice. Everything was great; it was a very easy move and they had a good crew. I would use them again in the future.

It was a great experience.  They were completely professional and accommodating.  Mike, Victor and their crew arrived on time.  They moved everything carefully and asked questions whenever they were unsure.  They protected all exposed surfaces with blankets.  They are really an amazing organization.  They are nothing like the horror moving companies you hear about in the news.

Because we had just had a top-to-bottom renovation of our home, everything was brand new, e.g. pain, floor, etc. Because everything was new it would have been very easy to notice any scratch in the floor, scuff on the wall, damage to door jambs, etc. They did not leave a single mark. We even waited to have the painters do final touch ups because we expected the movers to leave some marks. It's well known that no one is perfect; however, First Class did not leave a single mark anywhere in the house. They were efficient and on time.

They were really good. They showed up on time, finished on time, and worked the whole time. They worked hard and were neat. The movers were also very careful with the fragile objects and furniture.
