Description of Work: We moved my daughter and her roommate from a 6th floor walk-up in Manhattan to an apartment in Queens. The crew Mike sent arrived on time, even a little early. They were very professional and personable. They wrapped the furniture and put the mattresses and box springs in plastic covers. They started at 7:00 a.m. and left at 11:00 a.m. There was a 5 hour minimum however, and an hour drive time added. I would recommend them and use them again.

Description of Work: Overall they did a great job. Excellent crew. It was somewhat difficult to return their moving mats which were left with us since some furniture was left in storage for a few weeks. Also a little misunderstanding regarding a deposit for these mats. Just read through the contract and understand all details of it before signing. I would use again

+ -1 moreI decided to go with this company who was more expensive then most other companies because they assured me it would be a first class experience. Let me just say I have moved more than most people in the last 8 years I have moved 6 time 2 have been work related to other states from NYC and back. I dont know if its a NJ thing but the movers took literally 8 breaks in the 8 hours they moved us for 15 - 20 minutes they would all go sit in the truck I've never seen that. They where slow and I didnt find them to be very good at moving the furniture and putting it together. I have used Moishes in NY alot and maybe they are just very good but in comparison the experience was frustrating. The movers where very nice but the experience was not first class in anyway. Some of my furniture had minor damage, they had no clue how to put together my coffee table after they took it apart and it was BEYOND SLOW.

Description of Work: One of the best moving experiences I've had. The estimate was reasonable and actual cost was within an acceptable range of the estimate. They were careful with both the furniture and the homes I was moving out of and in to. There was no damage to homes or to any of my furniture. They were professional, hardworking and very pleasant. I would highly recommend their services.

Description of Work: Packed furniture plus other home goods. Held in storage for 2 days. Delivered furniture/home goods as reequired. Sales individual contacted us 3 times prior to the move to verify what was to be moved. The movers arrived on time to pack. They returned on the correct day to unpack and placed all moved items as directed. The movers were courtious and professional. I would use them again and recommend them highly

+ -1 moreThe move went extremely well. No unforseen problems and even if there were, I am certain they would have been easily resolved. All three movers were cooperative and professional. I would definitely use them again and made a note of the company name and phone number.
Description of Work: The movers came to the residence to transport a complete bedroom set including the following: armoire, dresser with mirror, night table, large lamp, headboard, box spring and mattress. Three men came to the house and proceeded to pack and wrap and prepare the furniture for the trip. Every piece was protected with all kinds of packing material. Some pieces were boxed. The mirror was removed from the dresser and packed separately, very well, as was the fragile lamp. Both the box spring and mattress were wrapped in plastic. Upon reaching the destination they unwrapped everthing, attached the mirror to the dresser and placed the furniture in the room as I instructed. They also took away all the packing material. They were very careful and patient! All the documents were ready - I got my copies and off they went! P.S. I was able to get a date for the move within a week of my call. First class Movers made every effort to fit me in to their schedule. K.F.

They moved everything carefully and asked questions whenever they were unsure. They protected all exposed surfaces with blankets. They are really an amazing organization. They are nothing like the horror moving companies you hear about in the news.

+ 0 moreBecause we had just had a top-to-bottom renovation of our home, everything was brand new, e.g. pain, floor, etc. Because everything was new it would have been very easy to notice any scratch in the floor, scuff on the wall, damage to door jambs, etc. They did not leave a single mark. We even waited to have the painters do final touch ups because we expected the movers to leave some marks. It's well known that no one is perfect; however, First Class did not leave a single mark anywhere in the house. They were efficient and on time.
Description of Work: First Class Movers moved us back into our home after it was renovated. We had some items in the garage and some items in a POD in front of the house.
