We were happy with everything. We looked up a few different people and we picked them because they have great reputation. The price was reasonable and comparable with everybody else. They were on time. They took care of it. There were no questions. It was a quick and easy job.

I was thrilled with Sandra at California Closets. She came over to give me a consultation and did fantastic work designing three closets and a shelf for some dead space in the bathroom. When, due to an unforeseen circumstance, I couldn't proceed with having the work done, she and the office staff were very kind and professional. Recommend!

Scheduling was easy, but then I got no less than 3 emails asking when I wanted to schedule an appointment, even after I confirmed that I already had. Confusing and annoying. I spoke to my salesperson on the morning of my appointment, and asked if she could come a little earlier, so she wouldn't be rushed. She accommodated this request. The actual appointment was all right, and the designs were OK, but she salesperson was constantly trash-talking other companies. I understand the idea is to make your product seem superior, but it seemed a little unprofessional. I also did not click at all with the salesperson, who was constantly interrupting me (my husband was listening to it all happen, we rolled our eyes a lot to each other). I almost threw her out at one point when I asked for clarification on something, and she responded, "You have to pay attention." I'm not impressed by glossy brochures and customized computer covers (her computer was emblazoned with "California Closets"). When I see things like this, all I see is $$$ka-ching$$$. The price was indeed competitive, but they wanted to change me (I think it was $59) for every little accessory, like a tie rack. This was also the only company of 3 that came to our home that refused to leave her design with us. I understand the reasoning, but that makes it difficult for the consumer to compare designs to make a choice. I went with another company who was much more pleasant to deal with, who actually changed me a few hundred more.

We are submitting a review of California Closets because we feel that they were very responsive and very professional throughout the proposal process. They arrived on time, were able to give us a design the same day and had some promotions that brought down the prices. We ended up going with another company because we figured that at the end we were just paying for the California Closet name. The materials that California Closet uses is pretty much industry standard material. I guess if you find a color choice that only they have and you cannot have it any other way it makes sense to go with them. Otherwise I would suggest you go shopping at other closet companies to determine what else is out there.

It all turned out beautifully and we were very happy with them! They were very efficient and everything came out great!

It turned out great, they are super! They are really easy to work with, and the designer was wonderful. I thought they were reasonably priced and they arrived when they said they would and did everything they said they would do. I would definitely recommend them to others!

It was okay but I thought they were expensive and I think you can get a very similar product for a lot less money.

For the quality it was overrated and they were expensive. I was disappointed with how they were put together and the front part of the drawers fell off. It's just not put together well, and the front facing of the drawers are just glued, and not put on more securely.

Joe Frucci came top my house. He had a computer and designed the closet for me. We made some changes and I picked colors and hardware. This was on August 31. Yesterday a painter came to my house and took the chair rail off the wall and p[ainted to room. Today 2 men came and installed the closet.

One of the closets had problems. The installation team did not quality control the closet and it did not work properly. I had to send multiple emails and call multiple times before getting a response. Not something I expect from a company that I just spent $3500 for two closets.

REPRESENTATIVE CAME TO OUR HOME AND WORKED ALONG WITH US TO DETERMINE WHAT AMOUNT OF HANGING SPACE VS. SHELF SPACE WOULD BE NEEDED. PROPOSAL WAS THEN PUT TOGETHER WITH A DRAWING WHICH INCLUDED A SPACE FOR TIE AND BELT RACKS.
