Central A/C unit was not working and needed someone right away. They sent someone the same day (in about 30 minutes) to accommodate my schedule. The technician, Robert, quickly identified and fixed the problem. He was very professional and courteous. Great experience!

I've had some sub-par experiences with large companies like Air Group, and similar mediocre experiences from smaller 1 man-show HVAC contractors prior....Alfano Mechanical was fantastic and BY FAR the best HVAC company that I have worked with! Jon L and Jerry were the technicians who came to our home and both were very friendly, personable and professional. Jon in particular was highly knowledgeable (Master HVAC License) and experienced: He took the time to really look into all the nuances and details of our HVAC system, made great suggestions and observations, but also was not pushy in trying to sell products/services - that in itself is very rare and appreciated! That definitely made me trust them more for future jobs/services we will need 100% . I certainly agree with all of these 5 star reviews earlier, they have fair prices , great service, and they are super responsive and efficient (they were able to come to our home same-day to accommodate our hectic schedule!). I would highly recommend Alfano, and personally highlight Jon L for his great service !

Professional, thorough, and clearly explained the problem and options to fix. Had a freon leak and they repaired it same day. Excellent service! Would hire again for any future HVAC/AC needs.

The job was actually replacing some of the exhaust ducting from the clothes dryer with rigid ducting that the manufacturer of the dryer specified. Instead of getting and using rigid ducting with the proper bends in it, the person who installed the original ducting used flexible ducting which does not let nearly enough air through. The difference in the amount of time to dry a load of laundry is dramatic! My one regret is not having done this 18 years ago!

Basically did not repair the unit , they could fix it temporarily , but didn't fix the unit , they said they need to come back, another service call and then try to fix the problem which is a small leak causing my Freon to slowly leak out

All other reviews I read were SPOT ON. Showed up early. Very helpful. Could have oversold me on an old AC unit. Found the $145 problem and fixed it on the spot. They were even very considerate of my ailing dog which made us feel at ease that they were going easy so as not to disturb him. They educated us on a few things about our AC unit and gave us some suggestions for continued upkeep and eventual replacement options. One of the only times I didn t feel as if I had to get another opinion / quote. If I have AC issues again, these guys are the only guys I would call.
