I'm a DIY repair guy and did everything I could to keep my 30+ year old central air working; but at some point we needed to replace the whole system. I chose Alfano and I believe I got quality work for a fair price. I worked with Joe mostly on this project and I found him to be very helpful and knowledgeable. He showed me how to clean my condenser correctly and how to maintain my ducting and even gave me some fancy metal tape. The system is working great and now I look forward to a really hot day.

We had a problem with soot being released from a new flue which was just installed by another company. The problem was resolved in no time and I could not believe how extremely clean he was. Also, they provided an exact time range for arrival and called when he was on the way. I have had many boiler repair/cleanings in the past and would definitely recommend them.

The owner came to my house on a Sunday, no charge, and reviewed the situation with my 25 year old boiler. We had no heat or hot water, and he saw the problem immediately. He did not guarantee success, but he said the unit had a 50/50 chance of being repairable. This meant a lot as other companies just wanted to sell a new furnace. He told me had a Tech with the skill set to fix my issue, and the man he sent delivered big time! The boiler helped by being repairable, but the Tech knew what to do and he even told me before starting it was possible it might not work. I appreciated their transparency. They were not trying to sell me a new furnace for 1000s of bucks. This was an answer to prayer and I would recommend this company 100% They gave me honest appraisals and allowed me to try to fix it before trying to sell me a replacement. BRAVO!!!!!!!!!

Owner was incredibly rude and hung up on me. Had a repairman here 3 weeks ago and my heater is not working. Whatever repair that was done (almost $400) did not work and his response when I asked to have someone sent out was to raise his voice at me and say that it is not an emergency (did not realize no heat is not an emergency) and he would have dispatch call in the morning. Do not bother! The worst experience with a Company ever. I will use someone else

Charged too much money. Service technician left the accumulator valve at closed position causing unit pressure build up and water leakage. I called the company back and ask them to come and take a look. They would not come unless I agreed to pay $135 diagnostic fee. I end up calling a different company and got it fixed. I will never use this company again.

They were knowledgeable about the repairs and the parts needed to fix the problem.
