Alfano was quick to respond to my emergency situation. They responded via phone almost instantly and a tech was there first thing in the morning the asses the situation.

Excellent service. Very satisfied, will use again. A rep called me minutes after submitting my job request. Another called to let me know when to expect the technician and called again when they were on the way. My technician, Robert, arrived ahead of schedule; he took his time, explained the problem and required repairs. He was professional, organized, knowledgeable and even cleaned up. Good work, fair price, so i also signed up for annual maintenance.

They came in replaced my furnace with no issues a few months ago in March. This is an update to my 5 star rating after they finished everything. Now I go to turn my AC on and it is not working. Tried setting up an appt with this company and got the runaround. They said they only replaced the furnace and did not touch the AC and they did not come when they said they would. I believed them that this is a complete different issue and got tired of waiting for them (our appt was 6/28 from 8 to 10am and they did not come). After I called someone else, they said they can try to get a tech out to me in the afternoon, but I was not going to be home at that time so I told them no. When the other company came, I went down myself to see what was going on, and the wire for the AC was found looped around the side of the furnace. It was disconnected (had to be in order for the old furnace to be taken out and new one put in) and was not connected back after the new furnace was installed. Yet, this company swears that they only worked on the furnace and this had nothing to do with the AC. In addition to this, a wire was cut from the furnace to the thermostat and we had to pay extra to get this fixed. Alfano also say that because I called someone else, they are not responsible. I am upset that I paid them in good faith and they did not complete the work that I paid for. Now I am out $250. It is not just the money that I am upset about but the lack of professionalism and customer service that they showed me. I asked them for a $250 refund but of course they said no.

Rob came in and explained my situation thoroughly. He and his team were very transparent to my needs. Issue was I had a boiler that needed to be replaced but it wasn't too old. They went out of their way to confirm if we could replace through warranty. Even though this didn't go through and we still needed to get a new boiler they did this on their time. I truly appreciate that. The work they did on my property installing the new boiler was stellar. They were timely, knowledgeable and very courteous. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

While they did a good job, it took some extra steps to get there. I needed to fix a burst hot water pipe for a baseboard heating system, in a very tight crawl space. They proposed to fix the leak, insulate the pipe and add antifreeze to the system. It all made sense to me. After they did not follow up with a written proposal on the same day as promised, i called them and asked to make sure to have the insulation and other materials with them when they start. The guys who came next morning said they only were told to fix the leak - which they promptly did. In order to do everything else that was discussed with their service coordinator, we had to negotiate the price on the spot, after which they had to go get the parts and finish the job. That took the rest of the day. In the end, i was satisfied with the result and would recommend them for that reason. My advice, make sure to get a quote in writing before they start the job.
