POWER MOVING

They had a low price and you get what you pay for. They moved us out the night before we were supposed to close, and we had to do that as per our lawyer for the other people to do the walk through and everything. The day we closed, they were supposed to bring our stuff to the new house at 4:00, but they never showed up. They gave us the run around on the phone, and then they were supposed to come by at 12 the next day, and they never showed up, and they still never showed up. They came by on May 2nd and they didn't show up until 5:30 at night, and they had told my wife they wouldn't give us a break even though they held our stuff overnight for 2 nights. We had to sleep in a hotel because we didn't have any furniture. They had told us that we should not worry about giving them a tip because the office will take care of the tip and the guys of the truck said that the office had nothing to do with the tip and they would not pay them, which I agreed with my wife, and when we tried to call them to talk to them about this thing, we kept getting the run around about how they had multiple moves and they were short handed and there was a problem etc. They were a problem to deal with. One of the movers clogged one of the toilets, which we didn't realize until my wife went to use the bathroom and we weren't able to flush and we realized the water was off. I turned on the water, and it overflowed, it looked like a geyser. We know that the toilet had worked earlier because we had used it. I plunged it and all kinds of stuff came out. They had clogged it up and now I have a nice water stain on my dining room ceiling, but they denied all of that episode. They denied they had anything to do with that and it was us who had clogged it. The communication was horrible, they had overbooked themselves, and did not deliver our goods for 2 days so we had to stay in the hotel.

THIS COMPANY HAS A $240 MINIMUM PRICE WHICH I THOUGHT WAS FINE. I HAD EVERYTHING READY TO GO WHEN THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME. THEY DID A GOOD JOB AND EVERYTHING WENT SMOOTHLY. I'VE RECOMMENDED THEM TO OTHERS.
