Description of Work: I would highly recommend this company. Ferraro moved us from a large home to a high rise apartment. Peter Ferraro knew the challenges of moving in our particular building and suggested having an additional person on the crew. That way they could do it in fewer hours - yet at the same price as another quotes. He suggested where we could get inexpensive packing materials as we opted to do the bulk of packing ourselves. |On the day of the move the crew arrived exactly on schedule. They were fast, efficient and careful. It went extremely smoothly and quickly. We were shocked to find ourselves completely moved in by mid-afternoon. An excellent job.

Description of Work: They were efficient, polite, professional and did everything I asked. They were even done well before the estimated time - because even though I was quoted $600 for 2 movers for 5 hours ($60/hour/mover), he actually sent 2 movers for 1 hour ($120) and 4 movers for 2 hours ($480). That was a little more than half the time at the same price, and EVERYTHING I asked for was done perfectly. I would recommend this company in a minute!

Description of Work: Two men came and moved a very heavy, very large, floor to ceiling bookcase/cabinet unit. One week they moved it out so we could paint behind it and when the painting job was completed, they returned to move it back again. It was worth the $130 each time so we, the homeowners, did not hurt ourselves doing it.

Description of Work: my wife and i had a moving date,to move from a house to an apt. do to cercumstances beyond our control we had to move a week later. i contacted peter fararro as soon as i found out and was informed by him that he had no time the week of our move, and when i asked him to refund my deposit he refused. i informed the person who refered me to him, as well as my 2 sisters inlaw who were moving at around the same time, who have not used this service since then .

Description of Work: moving a family member with furniture and personal items for a large 2 bedroom apartment. professional from start to finish. this is the 2nd time my family has used this company and we heartily endorse them and would use them again in the future.

Description of Work: Peter Ferraro moving is AMAZING! I used them to move a piano and some boxes from my parents home to my new condo. They were punctual, polite and very hard working. I could not believe that they were able with 4 men to lift a piano up 3 flights of very narrow steep steps. When I recently moved to a new home I went with another company and it was the BIGGEST MISTAKE I ever made. The estimates for moves are done by the owner and the moving men are generally family as well. They are clean cut and wonderful. I will never use another moving company again. This is the best moving company I have ever used and I have moved quite a few times. If you want a moving company who you can trust they are truly the best in the business.
