Joe was very responsive and set an appointment for the next day, when he showed up he changed the coil in about 10 minutes and let me know that the springs are starting to wear but I could get anywhere from a year or more so just call back when it needs repair and he would honor the same price as it would take to fix it today. Very rare to find people who are looking to do the best thing for their clients.
Description of Work: My garage door wasn't working properly and would get stuck sometimes.

I must say that I contacted at least garage door repair/installation businesses who all wanted to charge me from $65.00 to $89.00 as a service call just to come over and look at my garage door. What's important is that all of these places indicated that they offered and quot;free estimatesand quot; and they did not! Joe, at New Jersey Garage Service, took my call and listened to my explanation. He came by hours after we spoke, repaired the door and that was that. He did inform me that I needed a new garage door because it was very old but I did explain to him as well as the other vendors that I don't use this garage to park a car, only for storage. So I really didn't want to spend the money on a new door. Joe's service was great, efficient and he is very professional.

Called Monday night and he came early Tuesday morning and took care of everything in about 1/2 hour. Saw the problem immediately, noticed the worn cables, etc. and took care of everything.

My garage door opener was not closing my garage door all the way. I called NJ Garage and made an appt for the next AM. They came and made the adjustments as necessary. If the problem re-occurred, he would deduct what I paid towards a new garage door opener.

I had called the owner, Joe, last Spring and he came out to give an estimate. He came when he said he would and was very patient and helpful in answering our questions. We decided to wait and called him again in early September. We had some more questions regarding color and type of garage door opener. He answered our questions to our satisfaction and we set up an appointment. His crew came on time and were very efficient. They cleaned up after the job and disposed of our old garage doors. It's rare to get such get such good service. Clearly Joe is a very good manager who works very hard to make his clients happy and satisfied. I highly recommend Joe and NJ Garage Service Inc.
