This is my second time using green star tree experts. Christian and his crew are very professional and do a great job. I had 8 trees cut down the first time. And 5 trees this time. His prices are very reasonable also. I have and will continue to recommend them to other homeowners You won’t be disappointed.

Christian was very professional, set a time/date and crew was punctual. Crew worked hard for several hours. Thorough cleanup and even removed excess debris which I did not expect, leaving the whole area cleaner than it was. Excellent job. I would HIGHLY recommend them.

GreenStar Tree Service was professional. Cristian provided me with an estimate when he said he would, they showed up on the scheduled date -- even earlier than expected -- and all work was performed as requested. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them again.

BEST Price and GOOD service! I am a board member of the Fairmont Gardens Condo Assoc. (FGCA) in Hackensack, NJ. We received 4 estimates for topping off 5 trees, trimming all branches back away from two buildings, and removing dead timber/branches. Green Star Tree Services (GSTS) had the most competitive proposal approximately 30 to 45 % below competitors. There was some hesitation in going with the lowest bidder but we did so to save money and because all reviews (BBB, Yelp, Angie's list) we found online were mostly positive. The Association has had problems with the large trees clogging building roof drains and hitting the buildings. So our main concern was to chop the trees as much as possible to keep them from hitting the buildings or dropping branches and leaves onto the roofs. GSTS let us know the trees would look funny. We told them it was ok. Make sure you specify what you want (tree topping, branch trimming, aesthetics preferences, etc) and they will give it to you. The work was completed today (Fri, Oct 3rd). The amount of timber GSTS removed for the amount we paid was impressive. GSTS even coordinated access with adjacent properties without us asking so that they could access our trees with their crane and equipment. Professional bunch. They came and gave a quote. They came the day we wanted them to come. They were quick. It was amazing how quickly they could get these trees down. They were very large old trees. The two trees took maybe six hours. And, they took all the wood and the debris away. The only thing they didn't do was the stumps but we had somebody else do that.
