After one week the paint started peeling. He would not come out to redo them with out more money. He was very charming and highly recommended but he never finished the job. After all was said and done, I had to go and buy a new kitchen due to the cabinets being so messed up.

Response from ROBERTS DECORATING COMPANY
WE SANDED AND PAINTED THE CABINETS AS INSTRUCTED. SHE WANTED AN ECONOMICAL PAINT JOB SO SHE WOULD NOT HAVE TO REPLACE THE OLD OAK CABINETS. THE PAINT AREA THAT SHE SAID WAS PEELING WERE IN THE AREAS WHERE MY CLIENT PULLED OPEN THE DRAWERS AND DOORS. WHEN I WENT BACK TO LOOK AT HER CONCERNS I TOLD HER SHE NEEDS TO SELECT HARDWARE FOR THE DOORS AND DRAWERS OR THE PROBLEM WILL CONTINUE. HER NAILS WERE SCRATCHING THE PAINT OFF THE SURFACE. SHE REMAINED DISSATISFIED WITH MY RECOMMENDATION AND SAID SHE WANTED ME TO REPAINT THE ENTIRE KITCHEN AGAIN AND WANTED A REFUND. I TOLD HER THAT REPAINTING WAS NOT NECESSARY AND I WOULD TOUCH UP THE CABINETS WHERE THEY WERE DAMAGED. THIS DID NOT SATISFY HER AND SHE TOLD ME NO... THAT SHE WAS JUST GOING TO GET NEW CABINETS INSTEAD. HOWEVER, SHE WANTED A FULL REFUND. I HAVE REFINISHED MANY KITCHEN CABINETS OVER THE YEARS. THEY HAVE WITHSTOOD THE TEST OF TIME. I AM VERY SORRY THAT THIS CUSTOMER REACTED SO ANGRY AND COULD NOT LET US CORRECT THE SITUATION.
