Quaker Curtain

Bob Salup is wonderful! Very meticulous, diligent, and quick. He has been in this business for over 30 years, and he will not try to sell you something you don't need. His store, Quaker Curtain, has ready-made curtains and window treatments at low prices, for those not wanting anything custom. This is a family-run business for the past 50 years.

I bought 6 panels which were supposedly 96and quot; long. Since they only give store credit, I bought one pair to see how the colors would look in my home. One of the panels was 96and quot; long and the other was 108and quot; long. I brought them back, received a store credit. The owner (Salup) says he does have all 96and quot; panels and must have made an error. He said it was a close out special and he only had the 6 left (the price was excellent). I told him I wanted to shop around some more. When I decided to buy them, he had all six 96and quot; panels and told me he layed them out and measured all of them. He said they are all 96 inches. I took his word for it. Why would I think he is lying? I waited a couple of months to install them and kept them in their packaging. I just got around to installing them (3 months after I made the purchase) only to find out that instead of one panel that was 108 inches long, there were TWO panels that were 108 inches long (instead of 96and quot;). This owner lied to my face. The installer suggested I get them hemmed which I did (and it really didn't cost all that much to have them hemmed). While I was at it, I decided to have the other 4 panels lengthened since they were really 94-95and quot; and not 96and quot;. I had asked MR. Salup if he was selling irregulars and he said he wasn't. The curtains were hemmed and 4 were lengthened so that now they are all 96and quot; long and look quite nice. Yes I would go back to this store, but only for his close out specials since his other stuff is pricey compared to other stores (in my opinion). BUT, I would not purchase anything again from this guy unless he was willing to unfold the curtains and measure in front of my eyes. Especially, since he does not give refunds!!! I can't trust this guy as far as I can throw a ball (and I don't throw very far)

Some of the treatments include shutters, blinds and curtains. They are excellent in quality and service. They even come to assist when my grandchildren yank they out of shape, off the rods or anything. I have been pleased with them and recommend them highly.

EVERYTHING WAS DONE ON TIME AND FOR THE PRICE QUOTED. I COULD NOT BE MORE SATISFIED.
