As mentioned above, Rusty has made a wide range of repairs on my zero turn radius mover over the last 2-3 years: tune-ups, replace blades, starting problems, belt problems, etc.

Rudy's wife made the appointment and did the follow up. Contact was great. Rudy showed up, tuned up the lawn mower and sharpened the blades. Coming to the house was wonderful. He pulls a trailer with his workshop so he has everything he needs. Will recommend to anyone in need.

He was very efficient and thorough.

Provider came when he said he would,performed the services I expected and so far everything seems to be OK

he found a few things that needed to be fixed such as the tire inflation was not correct blades needed to be sharpened and of course the oil filter and spark plugs were changed as well as the whole machine was lubricated. the only thing he did not do was replace two rocker arm cover gaskets which he did not have with him. i decided to just do that myself. over all he did a very good job and i would recommend him to friends.

Every aspect of the service call was 5 STAR. I contacted Rusty by email. Within hours he called to set up a time. He and his partner arrived right on time and performed all of the necessary work in a very timely fashion. Rusty is courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. I will definitely use his services again.

The provider was prompt and was able to quickly complete the service. The snow blower ran well for the entire snow season and I was especially happy of the time savings related to the "house call." I recommend this company to others and will be arranging for the maintenance of my push and riding mowers in the future.

They were unable to repair my snow blower, so they only charged me the travel cost.

Contacted for repair of snow blower. Was referred to Rudy, Housecalls mower repair of ocean county. Rudy spent at least an hour attempting to fix the snow blower without success. He determined it was a faulty carb, ordered one, and came two weeks later. After at least an hour with the new carb, he called Rusty, Housecalls Mower Repair of Mercer County. Each suggestion Rusty had, Rudy confirmed that he had tried it. After another hour, Rudy gave up and was going to get another new carb, as he determined that the replacement was faulty. I never heard from Rudy again.

Originally a re-schedule was required, but reschedule was immediate and within days of original date. Everything was as it should be.

On time, and completed exactly what he offered. All you can ask for.

He fixed everything he said he was going to fix and told me I needed a belt. He ordered the belt. I called and left a voicemail and just waiting to hear back.

Gary arrived on time and tuned-up my 10 year old MTD 24" snow blower. In addition he noticed that the guides were twisted and bent so he fixed them and adjusted the runners at no extra charge. He performed the service carefully and took the time to protect the work service as well. I would not hesitate to call him again for this purpose or for my lawn mower.

Very happy with quick diagnosis of the issue which reflect the experience and professionalism. I would call again for spring maintenance.

Answered the phone right away each time I called. During first call he had mentioned his son was getting married, so he was running around and he didn't have his scheduling book with him. Understandable since I just got married in October of last year and know how crazy wedding planning is! He asked me to call back on Monday to setup an appointment. So I called back on Monday and scheduled an appointment for 2pm on Thursday. Left work early in order to be there when he came by. 2:45 and he hadn't called or arrived yet, so I called him to ask if he was still going to be making the appointment. Said he would be late as he was held up in Ewing on a job. Ended up arriving 2-2.5 hours late. The two guys were nice and only took about 20 minutes to do the tune-up repair. Price was right about what I expected (if not a little less even), so I was very happy with the price. I haven't used the mower yet, so can't say much for the quality of the work right now (will update if there are issues, but I'm sure it's fine). So the only issue I had, was that I had to call them 45 minutes after the scheduled appointment time to see if they were still coming. I understand things come up in any service type industry, you just try to stick to your schedule as best you can. I just felt a courtesy call to let me know they would be late would have been nice, don't think that is too much to ask, it's just good customer service. Hopefully this was just an isolated oversight and they normally make courtesy calls in these cases.Ironically enough, the fix that had them running late was the same fix that they needed to perform on my mower, so at least that helped them be able to do the job quickly. That said, I would def use them again. The guys were nice and worked quickly. It is very convenient that they come to you and charge a comparable price (even less) to other places I've actually had to physically take my mower to (which can be a pain) and then you have to wait for days/weeks to get it back. I would def recommend them to anyone who needs their mower/snowblower/etc repaired/tuned up. Thanks guys!

I liked the fact that he answered his phone right away. Service prompt - he came the next day. Good price, friendly service.

Timely and friendly service, and the repair was done on site with zero problems.

I don't want to pay for the extra delivery fees and I want it done fast, so I called Rusty on Thursday and set the appointment on Saturday. His plan changed so he called me to see if he could arrive earlier. He arrived on time, changed the oil, oil filter, spark plugs, fuel filter and sharpened the blades within an hour. He noticed my lawn mower has three blades which he usually charges $10 extra, but he decided not to because he already gave me the estimate on the phone. He also gave me few good advices for maintenance. I will definitely use his service again.

Rusty answers his phone right away, every time you call. He was able to come to my house within two days of my initial call. He inspected my machine, and determined that a part needed to be ordered. That's the only reason I gave a B for responsiveness - The part took longer than expected to arrive, and I had to call to find out what the status of the part was. Once the part arrived, Rusty installed it right away. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and was able to fix the engine. I appreciated that he came right to the site, and took the time to explain how to properly use the machine.

I contacted Housecalls because I was tired of the long service times and the pick up-delivery costs when having my lawn tractor serviced off site. My first call was for info and all my questions were answered directly. I called back for an appointment which was scheduled within the week and on a Saturday. Rusty arrived on time, completed the work, cleaned up everything, made sure gates were locked and gave me some advice on additional care I could take to extend the life of the lawn tractor. In about an hour and for about half the cost I have a riding mower ready to go -- I have already recommended Housecalls to others.
