+ -1 moreTerrible communication, terrible work (holes in walls, floors, unfinished cabinets, poor workmanship, disappeared with the money. Will not answer calls after you pay him. Is argumentative, unprofessional, damaged the house. Goal was to improve the home.
Description of Work: F! DO NOT HIRE MITCH RESNICK (aka Expert Installations LLC). HIRED: Aug 2015 (2015) COMPLETION: Feb 2017 STILL NOT DONE!! Accepted $40,000.00 for a new kitchen/floors and never finished it. The floors are crooked and uneven so the cabinet doors and drawers won't open and are warping. The cabinets don't have the proper hardware so you have to stick your fingers in between cabinets to try and open a door/drawer. The walls, floors, and ceiling in the kitchen, living room, dining room, and garage have holes in them (PHOTO). Installed the refrigerator without the filter so light stays on constantly because you can't replace the filter. Has 2 pieces of wood holding up the refrigerator. (PHOTO). Does partial work: installed the gas oven, dishwasher, stovetop, but the the Downdraft. Installed an aftermarket window when there are ANDERSON windows in the house. Window seat is held up with cardboard (PHOTO). He will not show up to complete the work.

+ -1 moreInitially seemed competent. Brought in kids to install the flooring. It's got 2 scoops in the tile. He said because I stepped on a single tile the whole floor is crooked. It was the 2nd tile that was lain down. Then the kid corrected it START DATE: Nov 27, 2015 END DATE: Apr 4, 2016 Still incomplete Floors replaced are Crooked. Per contractor: "the countertops will cover it up." Damaged brand new $2,000.00 refrigerator door: "I'm not buying a new door, take it off my bill." Doorways crooked after modification: "that's gonna take a week to fix!" Damaged hallway baseboard: still not repaired yet Drawer pulls: still not installed. Contractor: "You need to find and buy them. There are about 4k different kinds." Damaged hallway baseboard: not sure why. still not repaired. Paint: Ceiling and walls not completed yet. Window seat: partially done, still not complete. Windows Replaced: Asked numerous times what kind of windows, he installed vinyl (10 yr warranty) Anderson lifetime warranty windows are throughout house. Exterior looks strange. Garbage disposal: "I'm not a plumber, you'll have to hire someone" after he moved the plumbing. No end near in sight. After shaming him on Facebook, received "I"ll be there Thurs @10am." I really don't trust this guy to be in my house without watching what he's doing.
