+ -1 moreJoe, the boss, answered our call right away. He came for an estimate, which we received on the spot. Since his price was so much lower than other estimates we had received, we scheduled the work right away. The crew arrived around 8 AM weekdays for 7 days. They were a pleasure to have in our house. We were always consulted about the order in which we wanted the rooms to be painted. The walls required a lot of repair, and this was done beautifully. The house was left clean everyday. The final results are amazing! We have worked with Joe a few times before and were always satisfied.
Description of Work: Jack prepared walls and painted (2 to 3 coats)walls for our master bedroom, master bath, hallway, 2 story foyer, kitchen, living room, dining room,nfamily room, powder room, laundry room, and entire finished basement. His price was $4000 LESS than 2 other estimates we had gotten.

Description of Work: I initially contacted Jack to remove wallpaper from my stairwell. While he was here I decided to get an estimate for him to paint my entire downstairs since I had just moved into an older home in dire need of a facelift. His pricing was reasonable and his crew did a wonderful job removing the wallpaper and painting the walls as well as the molding. They were quite meticulous. They arrived every morning on time and were very pleasant and professional. They cleaned up before leaving every day and I can honestly say that I did not find one area that was not done well. They patched my plaster walls where needed and also applied caulk. They were very careful when moving furniture and painting ceilings and there were no mishaps. I was so pleased that I hired them to complete the upstairs bedrooms and office. They truly exceeded my expectations and I HIGHLY recommend this crew for your painting needs.

Description of Work: Striped wallpaper from a 2story foyer, 2hallways, kitchen, laundryroom, 2baths,&1 bedroom.they also Washed and prepped the walls for painting. They were quick and efficient and were in and out of my house in no time I have hardwood floors and they protected them nicely no water damage whatsoever. Also cleaned up everything nicely. I have used them in more than one house. I do recommend them! I felt the price was fair also. They also do painting however I did not have them paint my house because I have a personal friend who does my painting.

+ -1 moreI contacted Jack after my father-in-law, also a professional painter, left me in the lurch. Jack and his son came in and made a fair arrangement with me. Since my job was to small to price out on a room by room basis, they charged me an hourly rate. The rate was fair and the experience was stress free. The work was very good, as they addressed all of the little things that my father-in-law failed to do. The only hick-up was that they used the wrong paint to touch up my foyer area (the paint color in the can looked very similar to what was on the walls, except that it was actually from an adjacent room). Jack realized the mistake, made me and offered to come back and correct the problem when I purchased the correct paint.

+ -1 moreI spoke with him initially and he said that he would be out the following week to look at the job and give an estimate. He never showed up. I have tried calling about 5 times since and each time it goes to voicemail and then promptly disconnects before allowing me to leave a message. It sounds like the phone is being picked up and then manually hung up. I expect that companies are busy after the storm, however a response would have been appreciated.

+ 0 moreIt was a great experience. He gave us a complete estimate and broke things down by section. We chose the pieces within our price range, and he went right to work as scheduled.
Description of Work: Jack removed 50+ year old wallpaper in the entry, hallway, and master bedroom. He then painted the entry and the hall. His work was impeccable, his communication was great, and the overall experience was positive. I have no hesitations in recommending him.

+ -1 moreHe was very good and did a very nice job. I did not think that his price was excessive. The quality of work was excellent. He was a delight to work with. He came when he was supposed to. I called them up and he came and gave me an estimate. He told us the date and they came. They were quick, efficient and clean. There was no dirt and no mess on the rugs.
Description of Work: Jack the Stripper did interior painting. I have a Colonial summer home and he did the hall, the ceilings, the upstairs hall and the walls.

+ 0 moreJob 1: They did great work and were very accommodating to my needs. There were a lot of nails and screws and hooks to remove and repair for the prep work. I changed my mind a few times and they were able to adapt to those changes without any sort of problem. Everyone that came out had a good sense of humor and really seemed to work well together. Job 2: I had to use Jack The Stripper with a name like that. This was an upbeat and funny group of 5 men. They came at 8:00 every morning and cleaned up an vacuumed every night. This shows a lot of professionalism. They also did a high quality job of painting. The price includes $600 spent on paint.
Description of Work: Job 1: He removed wallpaper, prepped and painted in a few rooms for me.($800.) Job 2: They removed wallpaper in the bathroom, prepped all of the walls and painted the whole 1700 square foot plus the ceilings in my house.($4195.)
