One thing that really surprise was their level of communication, but both onsite-and office staff. They were always quick to respond, and kept me informed. This was reassuring as I was living offsite during the process. Any of my questions or concerned were quickly addressed. But I think the thing that impressed me the most was their commitment to staying on budget, and finishing on the timeline promised. I could sense this from the top, down, but never cutting corners. Their work product speaks for itself. I can honestly say their commitment to customer satisfaction is something I have never experience in the construction industry. It was a phenomenal experience working with the pilla group. I liked their up-front pricing. The quality of the work spoke for itself. They paid attention to detail. My house felt dated, and by the time the project ended it felt like a new home. They were professional at every step of the way. Me, and my wife asked for many changes, and they were more then accommodating, and patient. The project was done ahead of time, and on budget. I can say I would recommend them to anyone.

I would start by saying they are remarkable professionals. I first saw their work on a neighbors house, and they extended out, and it seem to be preformed so quickly. I ask my neighbor to tour their house, and the work was great. From the first meeting it was clear they were the right company for the job. I liked how they were upfront about all the cost, and the process. They provided me great advice, and I felt more confidence then with any other company. I hired them for the design build, they extended the ranch, and made it into a colony with a second story. The had told me the city would take a while to approve the permits, and they were right on the money with the timeline. However when it was approve, they flew. I have never seen something so amazing. I cannot emphasize how quickly the rough came together. In in the begging it happened in a serious of sprints. When the rough work was complete they transformed the interior space, so efficiently. It seemed like the actual was well planned out. The quality was top tier, but the best part is they stuck to our budget. This was always my biggest fear, as I know of some many horror story with additions, it stopped me from doing it for years. I am not sure what systems or software they use. I am grateful that everything turned out perfect, and wish all company were like theirs. True processionals who keep to their word.

The team at the pilla group was beyond amazing. I bought a dated home with the intend to update it. They were the far the most professional, only another company close. But I am glad I went with them, almost didn't due to the long wait time. It was the fact that they invited me to see their other projects, it spoke for itself. I had to wait almost 3 months for the project to actually start. However once work began the crews are by far the fastest I have ever seen. They worked at an unbelievably pace. It was like each sub had been trained to sprint their part. I was blown away. Normally when this happens it is due to shobby work but they were attentive to detail, and the finishes were perfect. They started early, left late, and worked all weekends. They completely updated the kitchen, 3 bathrooms, basement, and painted both all interior/exterior of my 3600 sq ft house. My sister had a similar project last close to a year by the company I almost went with, they were done in 6 weeks, granted mine was close 1000 sq ft larger. I don't think I could recommend them more highly.

It was a pleasure working with the Pilla group. I have wanted to turn my basement into usable space for a while. I was recommended to them via a family friend, who had work with them in the past. They quickly came out took my information, and prepared a detailed proposal, I compared it to a few others, and it was by far the most precise, and professional. I have a problem with moisture, and they gave me some options. I liked the fact they present me with a range of options, and kept me well informed. I had mostly used it for storage, but I gave them a few ideas, and they ran with them. They took care of everything, and all while being mindful of the budget. All their subs, were very professional, and respectful of my house. I thought the timeline seemed overly optimistic given the scoop, and size of the basement 1400 sf. But to my surprise they finished sooner, then their initial timeline. True to their word they stayed on budget. My basement is now beautiful, and it no longer feels like a basement. They built a bar, bathroom, and a walkout. Their idea for a mini split, and waterproofing did the trick for any moister. Eduardo was amazing to work with. I would hire them again, without a second thought.

I would start by saying they were the most professional of any company we interviewed. They have a very detailed proposal, which is very upfront about pricing. Their attention to detail was a good sign of their work. Overall very competitive pricing. I found them to be very concerned about the budget. The work was done very quickly, without scarifying quality. The processes overall was very efficient. I would recommend them for any home improvement project.

I had a mostly positive experience with the pilla group, they had a detailed, and transparent estimate. They began on the timeline promised, and surprisingly beat their own project deadline. The different crews ran their parts of the job like sprinters. In particular the drywall guys were nothing short of amazing, a smaller drywall job from my kitchen remodel took 3 times as long. Makes me wonder if that company took so long to justify their prices, and change orders. This brings me to the best part, we stay on budget at the price agreed. Now to the bad, first I was given an estimate in April, I told them I still needed to get more quotes. I was told by the salesmen that the prices would not change, but when I went to contract them in June, I was given a revised estimate that reflected a rather large price increase. Second the lead time had gone from 3 weeks to 5 weeks. I felt this was a bit bait, and switch. Third at times, it felt like my project was minimized. My friend who referred me to them received a dedicated project manager, but I was instead given a site coordinator Eduardo was nice, but he was not the engineer pm my friend had praised so highly. Any big decision was dependent on the ops manager. He was only available by appointment, this is construction not wall st. When I finally talked to him, he gave me a spiel about how they were a micro firm, this was done to increase their bandwidth due to demand, and since mine was a simple project a pm could not be provided. I felt insulated, given it was not a simple project budget. If they are so busy, they should hire more project managers. In the end, the project turned out fine, but they should improve their customer service, and properly hire, if they hope to be a luxury contractor.

They remodeled my whole house, and did a wonderful job. I would start off by saying their proposal was the most detailed, and it included everything that would be done. Their lead time was almost two months after we signed the contract, however I'm glad I waited. They gave us a timeline, that allowed us to plan around the project. We had everything ready, and worked with the pm to have all materials picked out. To my surprise they beat their expected time frame to finish job. I was beyond impressed with their level of craftsmanship, this was display in the basement bar, and the kitchen details. They stayed on budget which has never happened in countless other construction project I have done in the past. This makes me wonder why all companies, cant be run like them. They had by far the best customer service we have receive from a construction provider. Overall happy I hired them.

My basement needed the pilla group, they did an amazing job. The work was high quality, and completed on budget. Eduardo was our pm, and he was great throughout, he communicated well, and always kept us in the loop. Overall, they were professional at every step. I would rate them highly for value for the money. I contracted with pilla group for a basement remodel, my basement had a slight moister problem, so it need to be gutted, waterproofed, and rebuilt. I would start off by saying it is clear they are experts in their field. They were knowledgeable, and really knew how to make my vision come to life. They took care of everything, truly white glove service throughout. This was most evident in the bar, movie room, and spa-like bathroom. All the subs they choose were likewise very professional. I have done countless construction projects in my life, and never once has a project been turned in on budget, I was shocked given all the different elements of my design. For the minor tweaks I asked for for they were more than accommodating. I have run several companies, and I could tell management does a good job instilling a sense of urgency, and maximum efficiency, and accountability. The project was done in light speed, especially because all other firms had quoted my at double the time they did. They felt more concerned finishing the project on schedule then I did. Now the reason I didn't give the 5 stars is as followed, their design services were not among the best I have had, I only got to speak with the pm, and only once did I see the architect. They gave me simply 2D outlays, and really for a project like this it should have been 3D renderings. Second when I spoke with the sales consultant, he advised me they had a lead time of 3 weeks, but once i finally moved forward to sign the contract the lead time had changed to 2 months. I was told that they had sign other agreements, and that affected led time. However only 3 weeks had passed, and I had given them a verbal commitment, and ask that they hold my position, and they said it would not be a problem. I felt they should have told me they would not be able to honor the hold. In the end I went with them, and I am happy I did. They produced a high quality build, at the price agreed, and on the timeline promised. Overall I can say I would recommend them.

Investor friendly construction firm, they are experts in their field, projects are done on timeline they promised, and at the budget set. They are really well organized. Given the success on the first project, hired them to take on bigger role. They really excelled, and exceeded expectations Only two downsides, their consulting services were a bit pricey, and the communication on the second project was not the best. To their benefit those services took a big responsibility off my plate, and the communication was promptly address when it was brought up. Overall provided far more value then cost of services.

I would start off by saying they are by far the best construction firm we have ever worked with. My partner and I were amazed by their deep understanding of our goals, and the best methods to achieve said goal. We intended to gut renovate a 3 unit building into 3 luxury condos. They knew we wanted the highest ROI , and to maximize the utility of our budget within the first few minutes . They give us expert advice, and solutions that made a world of difference. They helped us map out layouts, choose materials, and were a guardrail when we wanted to change something that would have blown through our budget. At each point when we ran into an issue they were quick on their feet to come up with a solution. In the end, the project was well executed, and done in record speed. If our past projects had been this successful we would be years ahead in our investing journey. We are happy we went with them as we felt we had a partner to count on. We are extremely grateful, and hope to continue to partner with them.

It was an overall great experience with the pilla group. I purchased a house built in the 90s, and it needed complete renovation. The house was fine but needed updating. They took care of everything, it was wonderful seeing everything come along. The house was completely transformed at such a rapid pace. They performed high quality work, with attention to detail. My one complain is they don't do pools or I would have loved to go with them. Very professional, and outstanding customer service from them, and all their subs.

It was a pleasant experience working with Hector, Ronaldo, Eduardo, Bayron, Federico and the others whom I did not get their names. They were courteous and understanding if I want something to be changed. They weâ re right on time, even ahead of the agreed schedule of completion and yet not compromising the quality of the work.

I hired them for a full gut remodel and addition, dated 1920s house, my goal was to build out my dream home and the pilla group built it. I was extremely worried as I began to request estimates, they were all astronomical. After realizing I would have to adjust my budget, I knew picking the right firm was the most important thing. I had many friends, and family share all their horror stories, so I made sure to vet my choices. While they were nowhere near cheapest in the end I am happy them. They are a design build firm so I didn't need to hire a design firm, or architect and they took care of everything. They were very detailed and gave me excellent advice so I could maximize my budget. I don't come from a construction background so they were the perfect company to guide me. They had expert knowledge, and I loved their finishes. It was a big project but they did it on the timeline estimated. And more importantly pretty much on budget. I am very happy with everything, and would recommend them to anyone. They were very professional at every step of the way, and went out of their way to accommodate me time, and time again. Thank you to the team, admin staff, and all the subs who made this happen ! I got their info after seeing their work remodeling a friends basement, mine was a bigger project, I am purchased a home with the intend to do a gut renovation, and master suite addition. The project manager Leo came out, and from the very start I knew I had found the right company, I was honestly a little big skeptical, because it seemed what they offered was too good to be true. However Leo invited me to visit a few other gut renovations they were doing, I ended up touring 4 other projects similar to mine. This convince me they could get the job I wanted done. They ended up doing the design as well, which help keep the costs lower and then once work began it ran like a well run army. Leo was easy to communicate throughout the process, he kept me updated, he stayed on budget, which for my project I thought it was impossible given research I have done prior. The only changes were things my me and my wife decided to change, overall very happy I went with them, and I am grateful Leo, the subs,and the rest of the team !
