STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! My general contractor, MY HOME DESIGN STUDIO, in Teaneck, used Amax Electric and assigned a permit to do work on our home addition. Max never showed up, but allowed the general contractor to do all electrical work in our home under his license. When our contractor stopped showing up after getting paid, I called Max to come assess damage and told him we have a permit with his info, he came to my house and said he'd complete the electrical work. That was a month ago and we haven't seen our heard from him or contractor since. They do a lot of business together. They'll take your money and leave your job half done!!

Max is a very professional, knowledge and reliable. More importantly he is honest and very reasonably priced. He is the only electrician that I trust.

Amax Electric were professional, on time, and very thorough. Making vital suggestions on electrical work and upgrade. Eg. how to say energy etc. We bought a fixer upper and they had to complete Electrical work on the entire house. We added items after the initial quote and it was not a problem. They did not fuss or quarrel. He (Max) says, No problem. The additional charge was minimal not exuberant. Their overall charge was reasonable, not the cheapest but definitely not the most expensive. I will hire again for my next project and would definitely recommend. It's not easy to find very good and honest workmen but I consider myself blessed to be able to work with AMAX Electric.

AMX Electric did excellent job in my commercial place upgraded the service in one day they were professional punctual definitely would hire them again.

My LED lights were causing me to lose power. I was constantly having to trip the breaker and became concerned about safety. Im so VERY glad to have found Mr. Maxwell. Hes my new electrician. Finding a good electrician is IMPORTANT but really HARD. So many wont call back, miss appointments or try to scam you (for the guy telling me i needed a new panel...having Never seen my NEW PANEL.) I left a message for Max at 5am hoping to get a call after the holidays. He called me back immediately, said he'd fit me in at 830 same day....and did EXACTLY as he said. Its like a Christmas Miracle. His expertise allowed him to find a simple solution which he performed quickly and at a reasonable price. He was out of my house and on his way by 9am. He has EARNED all of my future business and referrals. A business person actually interested in DOING BUSINESS was a breath if fresh air. He was my 1st Angies list hire...ill be making more!!!!
