Argenbuild replaced the wooden steps in back of our house. Their work was precise and clean and they worked very efficiently. The project was done without adding any extra costs to me and they finished earlier than they projected. I was overall very happy with the job and I appreciate their professionalism

I just completed my third project with Argen Build (Luis Gonzalez). So far, Argen Build has renovated my kitchen and one of my bathrooms and I am still very happy with the work that was done. I recently had a portico added to my front entry way and it looks fantastic. Luis is very knowledgeable about his craft. He helps guide you and has great ideas. Luis hires excellent crafts people who really know their stuff and care about producing the best outcomes. Everyone I dealt with was always respectful, friendly and professional. I look forward to working with Argen Build for my next project.

These guys are excellent! They redid my kitchen and build a deck in Summer of 2022. I can’t praise them enough. Luis is very present and responsive. Moises is super efficient and creative. And the rest of the crew is just a joy to work with. They are all respectful, kind, fast and their work is absolutely flawless. I highly recommend them for large and small jobs.

We had an excellent experience with Argen Builders. We had our tub and surrounding walls removed and replaced with a new tub, subway tiles, and a marble niche. Having two young children (ages 1.5 and 3) I was very apprehensive to have people in the house during Covid times. However, during the entire duration of their work, the entire team always wore masks and took precautions. They were extremely friendly, and we felt very safe. Argen remained on schedule and were able to complete the job within six days. There were a couple small issues that arose, and they were able to deliver creative solutions. They communicated with me throughout the entire process. The completed work is flawless and looks incredible. They cleaned up after the completion of the work, disposing of materials, and even wiped down the floor and counters of the bathroom. I highly recommend Argen and we will definitely use them again in the future.

My kitchen renovation was probably one of the most stress-free home projects experience thanks to Argen Build. They were timely, organized and never left a mess at the end of a day's work. The staff are friendly and very professional. I would hire them again in a heart beat!

Luis and his team were excellent. They were extremely helpful and friendly. They started and ended the project when they said they would. At the beginning of the project we received a projected timeline for the scope and work that had to be performed, and they kept to it. Luis was able to answer all questions that arose, and work around any problems that presented themselves. The quality of their work is top notch. At the end of each work day, the guys made sure they left the place as clean as possible. We are beyond happy with Argen Build and their quality of work. We will DEFINITELY hire them again when we tackle other home improvement projects.

Once the actual work began, the crew was very polite and they always cleaned up after they were done. They did an amazing job on both the kitchen and bathroom, I couldn't be more happy with the results. I would highly recommend them and would definitely call them again for any future projects I might have.

All questions and concerns were addressed and they followed the blueprints to a T. Their attention to detail and listening to the concerns of the customer make Luis and his team great. Would definitely hire again. Price was right on budget. Mr Luis even recommended a kitchen cabinet locale for which proved to be a great find.

It was a pleasure to work with Luis and his team. The team paid attention to detail and responded immediately to any issues I identified. Luis worked closely with my architect to ensure he followed the plans as envisioned. He handled all permitting and we passed all inspections. My entire renovation took several months and while the process was not without inconveniences, Luis made the process extremely manageable. I highly recommend Luis. Work was a of superior professionalism. I was giving several options in materials, finishing and scope of the work all along the way. The unit was done before the deadline, on budget and it is looking great.

We hired Luis because we were looking to sell and did not have much success. We chose to invest in updating a few things so we can re-list with hopes we would sell. Luis and his staff were extremely professional, insightful about what would help sell the home and what buyers are looking for, based on the work and experience they had. There attention to detail was impressive and I feel so blessed that we found him to help us. I was extremely Leary and skeptical about hiring contractors but feel lucky we found Argen. I listed my home for sale earlier than I wanted to hoping that maybe people would be looking in February in the middle of the worst winter we ever had. I probably should mention my home was on the market prior to Luis and his staff Working on it for eight months and nothing. My house sold in three days and there was a bidding war. We got above asking price!!!! I can't thank Luis and his staff enough. Because of them we were able to sell our home and continue on with our lives. We are currently looking for another home in Connecticut that will require some work so we can hire Luis and his staff. We never had been open to buying a home that requires work however with such a great experience it has opened our options. I am not even sure if they will travel to Connecticut but we are really hoping so! I have already recommended him to family and friends and they are looking forward to working with them. Luis and his crew performed at the top of every range from punctual work times and completed the jobs to the full extent. The workers are expert craftsman and always acted as complete professionals throughout the time they work at my home.

A month ago, i was searching for a contractor to do full kitchen renovation and I received several estimates from several contractors (costly estimates) until i found good reviews + good price estimate from Argen Build Inc. Luis Gonzales and I started discussing our plans/options with the kitchen and he agreed even up to the point he'd almost cut his previous offer in half just to suit in our budget. Luis and his crews started the job in our kitchen and in the living room/dining area ceiling, since they are good in their job, we add some projects as long as they need to finish it before our moved in date. They finished the job a week in advance and we're happy with the outcome. Moises (Luis right-hand man) was a problem solver, our kitchen cabinet design has some fillers and he did some amazing solution to eliminate entirely the fillers and the outcome is gorgeous. Argen Build inc, even provided us insulation materials in the kitchen and the whole living room/dining area free of charge. Luis is a BIG help to us. Me and my wife can't put any word to describe and appreciate Argen Build Inc has done for us. We will absolutely hire Luis and his crew to do our next project soon.

The house looks like it is a new construction on the inside after it was finished. This house was built in 1945. The bathroom is very modern as well as the kitchen. Visitors who knew my house before the renovation cannot believe it is the same house now. Most visitors take photos with their cell phones when they come to visit. Overall it was an amazing renovation and Luis Gonzalez is very much on top of his job. He is reliable and offer solutions to most problems. He can be reached anytime during and after renovations.I would recommend his service to anyone who is looking for an honest and reliable contractor. He loves what he does. The owner of this company, Luis was very detailed in his quote. The scope of work was clearly defined which allowed me to set appropriate expectations of what was included and what was not. He was very accommodating to my requests and the specificity in his answers allowed me to decide on hiring him. Even though I had a bit cheaper proposal from another vendor, the clarity of the services and a previous recommendation made me feel safe. I live in the West Coast and have a property in the East Coast. Luis never took advantage of this and i did not have to micro manage his work. He sent me clear pictures that kept me up to date on the status of the work. He offered additional services (as re-caulking the bath tub) and did not charge for it. I am very pleased with the end result and paid with pleasure for his services. I will use Luis in any of my future projects and will be happy to recommend him.

Luis is an all around nice guy, who is easy to work with. I was told 3 days, but the hardwood floor installation took 2 days. Very pleased about that. However, the crew that installs the hardwood floor, walked all over my new floors without covering/protecting it. Also, they used the power saw indoors (on top of the newly installed floors) even though I have an outdoor deck, so my entire floor was covered in fine sawdust. It would have been nice if they had warned me to move all the stuff on the shelves to avoid it getting dusty or put a plastic drop cloth over my stuff before they started using the saw indoors. Previously, I had a different company install hardwood floors in another area of the house - they used the saw on my outdoor deck to avoid the sawdust from getting in my house and covered the new hardwood flooring before they walked on it, so I just assumed that's what Argen would do. The Argen crew cleaned up all the big garbage, but didn't clean up the fine sawdust on all my stuff, so the clean up afterwards was quite a pain. A simple plastic drop cloth would have saved me a lot of cleaning time. Overall, I'm very happy about how it turned out and looks, price, etc and I really liked Luis. The crew were really nice and polite and knew what they were doing, but a little thoughtfulness would have gone a long way.

We were very happy with Argen Build. The quality of their work, the professional and punctual crew made this project go very smoothly. They had great ideas and worked with us with all we asked for. The project went very quickly, there were no surprises and Luis was very accessible when you contacted him. He returns calls promptly, works with your schedule and is a very agreeable person to work with. We were very happy with the final product and have already recommended him and his crew.

In general, Luis is spectacularly nice and helpful. He was very understanding when we switched from a $50,000 whole basement renovation to a $10,000 repair (which other contractors were not so nice about). He responds promptly (though it did take a while to get his initial estimate, but that was true for all 9 contractors we originally consulted). The work was done MORE quickly than promised, which is definitely a rarity. The wooden stairs they built for us were gorgeous. The reglazing of the tub was also immaculately done. When we didn't like one thing about the way they fixed our tin ceiling, they came back and fixed it promptly for no extra charge. My complaints were the following: (1) since they needed access to our basement (it's ground level, so we would unlock the back door that morning when we left for work), the workers were regularly inside our house. They once came up to the first floor without calling ahead - they did knock on the wall near the stairs and call out, but I would have preferred a heads up. (2) They left the backyard a little junky, with some paper towels and empty soda bottles, plus parts of of lawn were pretty damaged. (3) In general, they did a great job repairing the drywall - we had 5 walls that needed repairing - but there is one section of one wall that seems a little "weak" still to me. In general, they did a fantastic job, and they definitely did a beautiful job of cleaning up everywhere inside the house where they worked.

After having suffered water damage to our ceilings and carpeting in living, dining rooms and utility closet, the result of a broken water heater we embarked a a disappointing personal local search (non-angie list search) for a contractor to repair damage. The results of that search produced very high estimates and contractors who didn't want to install the flooring of our choice. Out of frustration we contacted Angie's List to start a search. Within a day we were contacted by Luis of Argen and he came to our home that evening to give us an estimate. He is very professional and was willing, without question, to install the flooring of our choice. His estimate was very reasonable and we then proceeded to order our flooring. Due to a back order from the company we ordered our flooring from we couldn't start right away, but this did not deter Luis, he was very willing to wait until we had the flooring. After the flooring arrived, work started within two days. The total length of the job took only 4 days. The workers were exceptionally professional. Juan was pleasant, a great worker and amazing. He moved the furniture, prepared everything and did the bulk of the work and was extremely clean. He so impressed me and he really impressed my husband, who is very hard to impress. When the flooring was installed a second worker was brought in to help, Francisco, and he was just as pleasant and also a great worker. Luis, the contractor, came out twice to check out how everything was going, which I really liked. The cost included everything except the purchase price of the flooring which we bought separately. Luis and his crew made this whole experience easy on us. We were extremely comfortable with them. We are very happy with the work, grateful that we choose Argen and we will have them back in the future for other work we anticipate doing. We have already recommended them to a coworker of my husband's.
