George Dolak General Construction

George was recommended by a friend after we had to fire a contractor for gross negligence, leaving the bathroom half completed. George had to remove all his work and redo everything. He did a fantastic job! Even including having to remove the bad work, he charged me way less than the crook I had been using was charging. He showed up on time everyday, was meticulous and always cleaned up everything. All his workers were competent and professional. He finished on time and everything was done perfectly. I would (and will) hire him for any construction project I need in the future. Oh, and on top of everything else, he is a really nice guy.

Highly skilled contractor; would not hesitate to recommend him to any homeowner. Flooring, Tiling, Cabinet installation... He's done carpentry and roof maintenance for me.

George did a great job and 10 years later we're still pleased with his work. George and crew were always punctual. He was very easy to work with and was on the job until it was completed. We've recommended him to others, and our church used him as a sub-contractor in building a new church. In fact, he also custom built a number of built-in bookshelves for our church. He is very good at woodwork & carpentry.

This project went extremely well from the beginning to the end. George was extremely helpful from the beginning explaining the phases of work and how he was going to approach the job.The workers were totally professional and talented. They worked hard every day marking sure that everything was perfect at the end of each day. The communication between us, him and the subcontractors was excellent. 1) George Dolak was hired to design and fabricate two extensions for an antique dining table purchased [as an antique] more than 30 years ago. The table was extendable, but did not come with leaves to insert. Mr. Dolak's work was EXCELLENT! His work is advanced and I found him a skilled, analytical, and practical craftsman. His measurements and finishing make the leaves appear to be a perfect match to the original table. He took great care to return the table buffed and polished and better than its original condition--and within the agreed timeframe and price range. It was a pleasure to conduct business with Mr. Dolak and I highly recommend him. 2) George Dolak repaired the broken bed frame to a sofa bed. To ensure that would not collapse again, he recommended, then designed and fabricated two removable wooden supports--a perfect solution to the problem. One of his chief assets is his ability to see a problem and to design a workable solution for it. This higher level thinking skill sets Mr. Dolak apart from his colleagues. 3) George Dolak repaired a roof leak that occurred in a tricky location. He had to determine the exact location of the leak and then determine how to complete the repair in an odd spot. His work was excellent.

He's done work for me for the last dozen years and he always goes the extra mile. I've never had any problem with his work. He's patient, meticulous and i wouldn't hire anyone else.

It went beautifully, I called him and he comes over and does the job. I've been using George for over 30 years.

It went well. He explained things thoroughly, he is very clean. When he works he does more then what he needs to do. He gives an honest opinion. He doesn't try to sell things you do not need. He is very receptive of a persons needs that is getting older or with a disability.

He's very reliable and he's there when he says he'll arrive. Very neat and thorough. He spent quite a bit of time with the project to make sure it looked the way we wanted it to look. Very sturdy and cleans up after himself. I'm very satisfied with everything he did for us. I wish some of the workers here in Pennsylvania are as reliable as him.

He is fabulous, to have someone for 10 years, I do not have to be home, he cleans up so nicely, and very fair on price and goes the extra mile. So professional. He made me two eves for my table, and he made it look like they had been there the whole time. He is very creative and amazing.
