We contracted this company to dig around the foundation of our rental house and construct a french drain which would render the basement dry. The basement walls and floor were also to be finished with concrete and painted to render the basement a very nice working space. A huge patio was supposed to draw the water away from the basement. The basement still shows signs of water, the walls and floor have not been painted, and the working washing machines and dryers that were removed from the basement are gone after sitting in the parking lot unprotected for months. The outside door to the basement is also missing. The contractor went from texting me that he will continue his work **tomorrow** (which he does not do) to not answering my texts. I fear I will have to hire someone else to finish this job as well as buy new washing machines and dryers. The house is a rental and I feel very bad for the tenants who own the appliances. UPGRADE 11/03/19: The basement that was supposed to be dry and useful as a room, after digging around the foundation and cementing walls inside and out still has water, has not been painted and is far from a room. All the contents (washers and dryers, tools, etc) were removed and thrown away!! The door to the basement was removed and never replaced!! The contractor, Mel, does not respond to texts.

I dealt with Mel. I hired him to put in a new walkway infront of my house and a patio around my inground pool. He came in with his crew and did the patio first. To call it a disaster is an understatement. I will start with the common sense issues. They dug up an old chain link fence post that was underground and instead of cutting it out they poured around it leaving a 5 inch post sticking out. The pool ladder was set visibly crooked, and they buried the anchors so the ladder could not be taken out in the winter. They covered a drainage cover so the cover couldn't be removed. 8 feet of copper bonding wire for the pool that was secured and suppose to attach to the pool filter was pulled down and covered with concrete. The pool skimmer cover was covered so that also couldnt be removed. I found the brooms and other smoothing equipment hang over the side of the pool with concrete dripping into my pool. Exterior windows, pvc fence, deck stairs, house siding, and pool coping covered in large amounts of concrete splatters. during the 3 weeks it took me to get my pool clean i found At the bottom of the pool a rack, cigarette butts, empty water bottle, and lots...lots of gravel. The pool coping and liner are ruined from the cement. The quality of the concrete pour was terrible. within 24 hours cracks appeared, and discoloration. some areas are smooth while others are ridged and bumpy. where the patio meets the house it never was smoothed out so it so its piles of concrete thrown against it. In one spot they left a 2×4 sitting in the concrte as it dried so the impression was left. The step they put in by the gate door was to high so the gate couldnt close. when i confronted him he said he was also disappointed in the work and he would fix all the issues. i sent him pictures of all the problems i expected resolved, which he didnt resolve. i wish i could attach photos

I met with Mel on June 16th, 2019 to receive a quote to repair/replace the front steps of my home. Id like to inform you of the unacceptable and unprofessional job. 1- The men actually doing the job, dropped bags of cement in my flower bed; flowers are now dead. 2- Rocks and stones were in the grass in the front of the house; I could not have the grass cut to avoid breaking the gardeners (lawnmower). This was left for me to clean up. 3- Cement is still all on the concrete in the front of the house where they left it. 4- But the worst part is, the steps are not up to code, the steps are TOO HIGH! visitors are falling up the steps and jumping down off the last step. 5- The area in which the entry steps were previously located is now shorter (width) than the previous steps by at least 12 inches. 6- Instead of taking the rocks and cleaning up after completing the job, they buried the bricks, rocks, cigarette butts Along with parts of my awning in the flower bed. When I spoke to the contractor on 7/2/2019 about my dissatisfaction with the work, he stated that he would come back to discuss. It has been Two (2) weeks and I have not heard anything since. Apparently, he doesn t intend on fulfilling his end of the deal. I expect that once I accepted your quote that I was hiring a professional to do a professional job. The Job was not of a professional! This was a job done by amateurs. This is not acceptable and should not be allowed to continue. Thank you

I had my front stairs and walkway replaced with blue stone. I also had a paver patio installed in the backyard. Angelo and team did an awesome job. They were professional and finished the job on time. Angelo was always available for any questions I had and was easy to work with. I would recommend them.
