The team could not have been more professional and courteous. Very friendly and made sure they explained everything they were doing, what chemicals were used and were clean, fast and efficient in their work. Provided us with an overview of any issues concerns about pest control within the house, along with a full report of all chemicals used, where and how. Cognizant of our dogs and were sure to let us know that the treatments used posed no threat for the dogs. Good friendly people doing a professional job. They take pride in what they do.
Description of Work: provided whole house pest control/management service. Termite protection along with outside vector control via fogging/misting

I have been a customer of this company for a while. They were professional with respect to how they provided and explained theirs service, and responded to questions. They were on time with appointments. Their pricing was good and fair. However, if I needed them outside of my scheduled appointment times I would have to wait for a several days. Several days with bugs and critters in the house is a long time. The issue I have with this company and its owner is as follows: Their computer system crashed or went down or there was some sort of problem. They called several times asking for a return call so I could update them on our contract details. However, at that time, I was dealing with a very serious medical issue (cancer) with my 87-year-old father who lives alone. In addition, I am for the most part raising my 5-year-old granddaughter and have two other daughters, one in college. Needless to say, life is extremely busy and, at times hectic. For one reason or another I was unable to return the call. Life sometimes just gets in the way. When I called Omega to resume/reschedule the service I was told by the owner that "WE DON'T." I was shocked. When asked why I was told that he called several times and didn't get return call and that he even sent a service technician out to our house for a scheduled appointment and no one was home. Unfortunately, we got our signals crossed and I apologized profusely. However, at no time was my unavoidable lack of response personal or disrespectful. I was just overwhelmed by life itself. When I explained this to the owner none of that mattered. Their website states: “Second to quality is SERVICE – service has become a lost art in the business world.” - My response is that service includes how a customer is treated. They go on to say "We treat each customer with courtesy and respect" - THEY DID NOT! They continue to say, "The team at Omega is professional, local and thorough" - They were professional and thorough with respect to handling the bug problem though on an interpersonal level he was one of the most unprofessional business men whom I ever met. Their site says "WE CARE…We treat you like family" My reply, REALLY? I certainly hope he wouldn’t treat wife, sister, cousin, aunt or whomever, the way he responded to me. It's unfortunate it turned out this way as I do like their philosophy regarding pest management. However, they are not the only provider of this service out there. It is unfortunate that I was unable to respond to their calls due to a family emergency and even more unfortunate that a technician arrived at my home for a scheduled appointment when no one was home. However, and I do not mean to be flippant about this, sometimes mistakes are made. For that I am and was truly sorry. It is not appropriate for a client who paid her bills on time to be unceremoniously "dismissed" in a disrespectful manner, particularly for a situation that was not in her control. As I said before, life happens! If you want a company who provides a good "technical "service, is punctual with appointments via a contract, and informative then this is a company for you. However, if you want a company that is responsive to situations that arise outside of scheduled visits and who more importantly, in my opinion values and respects you as a person, then I would look elsewhere. There are other companies out there who will be able to provide a good "technical" service and with whom you can have a good interpersonal relationship at the same time. It's all about balance.
