The job was completed with some minor delays, but overall, I am satisfied with the performance. I must highlight their exceptional customer service, which is always professional, responsive, and courteous, making it top-tier.

Incredibly disappointing experience overall especially on communication. They sit you through a whole PowerPoint in your home saying how they are not like other companies, they are family owned and ran, and promised strong communication, a GroupMe and easy access for questions. Well, I agreed to a service and was told scheduling would be in contact. They called saying they were delayed based on weather and to not expect them anytime soon. That was all fine, it had been very rainy. One night, at dusk, I see men walking down my shared driveway with ladders, staring at my house. I consider calling the cops, but then remember it might be the roofers, despite them saying | wasn't scheduled. I jump outside, ask them what's going on, exactly as my neighbor does the same. They almost called the cops too. The group of employees couldn't communicate who they were and what they were doing, and I put it together that it's the roofers. It was surf and turf, showing up to do work unannounced late in the day, with no heads up. No group me. I was added to that after furiously phoning the rep who met us. To follow up, they send people by the house 3 more times, one of those on a day I was adamant that I was unavailable. All I get is apologies and a vague suggestion they will talk to management. Based on their own promises that they fail to follow through on in multiple instances, I start to question their core offering of good workmanship. I would not recommend Surf and Turf.

I usually don't trust five star reviews but I want to let you know I don't know anyone in this company and I'm not related to anyone in this company but they definitely deserve a five-star review. They were very professional and knowledgeable and when we had an issue they fixed it right away even though it wasn't their fault. The communication with them is phenomenal they call you back when they say they're going to call you back they text you when they say they're going to text you I had an issue with the ceiling collapse when they replace the roof which wasn't their fault it was just because of all the damage and they even sent a drywall or to fix it they called me back on a Sunday which is their one and only day off which I just thought was phenomenal you couldn't ask for a better group of people from the people in the office to the sales rep to the production people to the workers if you need a new roof these are definitely the guys to go with

Everything went smoothly, from start to finish!

The install crew was amazing. However the aggravation of arranging the install was a hassle. I we made our decision to hire the company based on the time window that they gave us to do the install. And once they had a down payment stopped communicating any delays. We were able to get the skylight installed, however, only after we threaten to cancel the contract.

poor work ethics and accountability, leave jobs incomplete and poor response to questions. I am yet to receive an satisfactory answer.

Hired Surf n Turf to recoat two flat roofs. I should have known after reading the contract they sent me to sign to stay away. Warranty info is nonexistent and suspect. I attempted to ask questions and the answer back was that is the one we use. I was in a tough spot and decided to move forward. On the day of the installation no call no show. I called the office mid-day. Got an excuse truck broke down and they wanted to reschedule. I took time off work and demanded they send someone. The installer was polite and answered my questions but beware they were subcontractors. I asked about a promotion I received via email a day after I contracted the work and was assured they would work with me to honor the discount especially since I spent more than the estimate. They asked for me to put some positive reviews online first. Then never contacted me back. Stay away from this business.

The estimator (Jim) came out same day I called to give an estimate and the roofers did excellent work. It was hard finding a company to repair just a portion of our roof but they did. I would highly recommend!

Surf and turf is a amazing company ! The whole team work they have is what every company sure strive for ! Colby came out and gave my wife an I a estimate , with all the details going into our job. He described every bit of material because we never really knew much! Owen was the project manager on our job, he and his crew showed up first thing in the morning , they were all so respectful and Owen made sure we were happy with all the work and even did an extra clean up to make my wife happy! This is a awesome company I would highly recommend everyone !!Great people!

The gentlemen who came to look at the roof were efficient and explained everything to me together with a video of their inspection. The work was done in one day. Looks great! Once the job was done, the property was cleared/cleaned of all debris. Highly recommend this company.

Problems started on day 1. Any properly trained roofer would start with covering a house with a protective tarp before removing old shingles: this ELEMENTARY thing has NOT been done. Because of that, the paint in our stucco house was damaged in multiple places by flying debris. Moreover, they have not covered vent pipes of the heater which stopped working on day 2 of their job because a plastic piece from shingles packaging got sucked into the heater and blocked its filter. Other minor things that could have been avoided if the tarp were placed: broken window screens, outdoor light bulb, basement window cover, radon exhaust pipe (these minor things were fixed during their 1st â remediation visit, but they make our experience even more grotesque). 1st major issue: Paint of the stucco house. After they saw the damage to the paint with multiple scratches and oily spots, Surf & Turf called a power-washing company in an attempt to remove dirty spots. Several months after power washing, those oily dirty spots came back, now they look worse than prior to power washing. We painted the house several years ago; obviously power washing did not do anything good to the paint in general. 2nd major issue: Bent gutters across the perimeter of the house which is visible by a naked eye. Gutters looked like new prior to roof replacement. 3rd major issue: Flat portion of the roof. This was our main concern and the main reason for roof replacement. Surf & Turf used special silicone coating, spreading silicone with a roller, kind of painting the roof. During the initial visit, they used GacoRoof, a product which was different from Tri-Built mentioned in the contract; they put a SINGLE coat of GacoRoof which required TWO coats according to Gacoâ s manufacturer. Because of this error, they had to come back and re-paint the flat portion of the roof. The issue with this approach, as I now learned from roofing pros, is that because of the earlier leaks one should start with checking whether or not any structural issues remain, instead of spreading silicone over the existing roof. Such checking has not been done. After Surf & Turf came for yet another â remediation visit, the roof of our garage started to leak. It has never leaked during our 10+ years in the house (in full disclosure, they did come back to fix the leak). Even worse, in November, less than one year after their job, we got a big leak in a room on the 2nd floor where we had no leaks prior to roof replacement (Surf &Turf people patched the roof after we reported the problem). 4th major issue: shingled roof. After their initial visit in January, I mentioned that the roof does not look right with multiple â waves over the shingled surface. Their response: â wait until summer, shingles will flatten out during warm months. In May I heard the same explanation regarding â flattening out. The outcome: nothing has changed during summer, the roof looks as ugly as it looked after the installation. What they are saying now, that the â underlying surface is uneven, does not hold because shingled roof was perfectly flat prior to replacement, but even if it WERE not flat, they should have fixed the (hypothetical existing) issue and utilized sheets of plywood listed in the contract prior to installing new shingles. We had to hire another roofing company to do inspection after having so many issues with Surf & Turf. The other company made dozens of pictures, including flashings which Surf & Turf originally installed near dormers. Only after I shared pics with Surf & Turf, they replaced those flashings. Summary: we will need to completely redo the roof, less than one year after hiring Surf & Turf, plus deal with recent leak and with damage to gutters and house paint that was caused by Surf & Turf

I researched Surf & Turf Roofing and others and decided to go with Surf & Turf because of their reputation and because they are an established firm that will be there to back up their guarantee for many years. The roof materials are guaranteed by the manufacturer, and the guarantees are transferrable. If we sell the house in the future, we can offer the guarantees to the buyer and add the cost of the roofing job, properly amortized, to the asking price. Surf & Turf took the time to educate me on roofing in general and our roof in particular, which allowed me to make the proper choice of roofing for our home. They showed up when they said they would, finished when they said they would, and left our yard spotless and our gutters and lightening rods intact and in good shape. They provide pictures, including videos, of the roof before, during and after work, so you know what is being done and why. Surf & Turf makes paperwork and financial arrangements simple and easy to complete. We have a high quality roof with an excellent transferrable guarantee, and the plywood foundation of the roof was reconditioned where necessary to provide full assurance that we will never again need to be concerned about our roof.

Their sales rep was in contact every step of the way. When we had issues with my HOA they stepped in to get everything in ace to get the project done. I'll be keeping them in mind if I ever need repairs done again.

Everyone was very professional and all very nice. If I needed anymore work done I would call them immediately. They are excellent. When they finished my roof they also cleaned up any trash, nails and debris all around my house. Thank you for the excellent job!!

I sent them a message through Angi's list and they called me the same day and made an appointment to give me an estimate. they called me two days before to see if I can be available that evening. I said sure. The estimator came a little early and was very professional and very honest. gave us a good price and we hired them right away. the work won't be done for a couple weeks. Greg is a very nice guy and very professional. He got the approval after a little bit from my Dog. lol.
