Description of Work: We've been using John for about 15 years. He came highly recommended and we know why. Always shows up when he says he will and gets the job done quickly and efficiently. Our last time he came, our pipes froze and he was there in record time. He took care of the problem before any pipes burst.

+ 0 moreI HAD TO CALL MR WESCOTT ON THE DAY THAT WE EXPECTED HURRICANE IRENE. HE ARRIVED IN RECORD TIME, QUICKLY FOUND OUR PROBLEM AND CORRECTED IT. HE CHARGED US FOR HIS TIME AND THE PART, AND WAS EXTREMELY FAIR WITH THE PRICE CONSIDERING THAT IT WAS A WEEKEND AND A CRISIS SITUATION. HE IS THE BEST.
Description of Work: WE HAVE USED MR WESCOTT SEVERAL TIMES OVER THE YEARS. HE HOOKED US UP TO CITY WATER, RAN A GAS PIPE TO OUR DRYER, REPLACED A TOILET, REPLACED A SINK AND CAME OUT FOR AN EMERGENCY ON THE DAY WE WERE ALL PREPARING FOR HURRICANE IRENE. HIS PRICES ARE MORE THAN FAIR, HE IS ULTRA RELIABLE, A GOOD HONEST MAN. WE WOULDN'T THINK OF CALLING ANYONE ELSE FOR OUR PLUMBING NEEDS.

Description of Work: I have used John Westcott over the last ten years. He is reliable, trustworthy, and very responsive to your phone call, particularly when there is an emergency. My hot water heater was leaking,, quite old, and I didn't know how to drain it. While it was on a tile floor in the laundry room and would probably not harm much, it would still be a nightmare to clean up. He asked me to look on the tag to see the number, we discussed newer options with better efficiency and the size of the heater I wanted to get as my kids are in college and not taking their three showers a day. He came over to check the venting within the hour. He called around to find the one I wanted and they provided better hot water service to me, picked it up, brought it over, installed it, and hauled away the old heater. He did a great job for a reasonable price. Being a single mom, I have always felt confident that he wouldn't gauge me or steer me towards something I didn't need or to a product that was too costly for me. He is always friendly and I have left him in my home alone without any hesitation. He is as trustworthy as one can be. I highly recommend him.

After getting a few estimates from some local plumbers that we found in the yellow pages, we selected John Westcott based on his competitive price, his knowledge of the plumbing codes in our town, and his friendly demeanor. He was very flexible and accomodating as we worked on scheduling an install date (this being a second home). He arrived on time, and was very efficient, neat and friendly. He was also very thoughtful regarding access to the plumbing for winter shut-off. All in all we were very pleased with his service!
