GREENTREES LANDSCAPE CONSTR CO

My husband and I hired Greentrees Landscaping in spring of 2020 to help fix the leveling of our property, design our landscaping and add a sprinkler system. They put about 30 arbervites on the property, 5 street trees, all new sod as well as other plants in. Immediately that summer we noticed the sod was dying and developing tons of weeks, 29 of the 30 arbervites were dying, and 3 of the 5 street trees were dying. When I followed up with Greentrees their response was that it wasn’t their responsibility if the plants didn’t survive. Also, when we hired them they told us we could continue to use them for maintenance but retracted that the following year when I followed up with them, saying they were too busy. So we had to hire a new company. (My guess is they realized they screwed up and didn’t want to have to deal with it) Fast forward to now, I’ve spoken with multiple landscapers who have said they did a HORRIBLE job with the property. The sprinklers are set up in a terrible manner and aren’t actually covering the property and are hitting the fence which was put in the same time they were doing the landscaping. So the sprinklers aren’t watering the 30 arbervites or street streets. On top of it we’ve learned that because we are in a flood zone they should have leveled the property differently than they did (YES, they knew the area flooded which is why they put in rocks around the property instead of mulch). They have the property at a dramatic slope which has caused all the arbervites to be planted lower then they should be and are getting ruined by salt water. On top of it, because the sprinkler system wasn’t set up right we can’t even use that to clean the beds out after a flood. We spent A LOT of money to have Greentrees do our landscaping and I’ve been trying to get in touch with the owner Ralf for months and according to his secretary he has decided to not call me back. I quote “He doesn’t want to deal with it and feels it’s not his responsibility” Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time with this company. They will do a terrible job, and will not take accountability if they did something wrong. We now have to hire another company to come in and fix everything they did. Thanks for wasting my money and time.

Ralph and Mark were very professional. Everything they said they were going to do they did. We are extremely happy from beginning to end. We would definitely recommend this company.
