Jason Pilla arrived promptly for a scheduled tree diagnosis and estimate for my Bradford Pear Tree which grew taller than my home, into my neighbors property, and became sickly from Hurricane Sandy flooding. I requested it be trimmed down enough to be symmetrical with the size of my home, without looking like a round mushroom type shape i frequently see around town. He removed many dead branches, trimmed the top and sides , and it's now the most gorgeous tree on our street. All the neighbors comment on how lovely our tree is. It's important to note how professional and prompt Jason was, because normally contractors don't show up when I call them for help around the house. I get excuses that they are so busy and will get to me later. Well, we are all very busy in our crazy lives, and it's just refreshing to deal with someone that hustles and is eager to please his customers.

He's responsive and punctual. He listen to what we were asking.

Jason himself came and inspected the site and gave an estimate in writing. After we accepted his bid, his crew arrived at the appointed time and performed all the required services as stipulated, safely and efficiently.

Gave a detailed prompt estimate then did the work the next week. They were on time, professional and did all the work beautifully. Left the house and yard very clean, wouldn't even know they were there. Would absolutely us them again.

Workers were awesome. Extremely professional, quick & clean. Tree was entangled in electrical wires. Take-down went without a hitch. Stump was ground. Area was cleaner than before workers got there! Would definitely use Jason & his team again. Price was a little higher than other estimates but sometimes you get what you pay for.

Jason had 8 guys here with bucket truck, stump grinder, shredder and a piece of equipment like a skidster with a claw to move pre cut logs to a pile for me in the front yard. They worked from 8:30am to 3:00 pm. His foreman, Louis, checked with me throughout the day to make sure they were getting everything I wanted done in each area. I have used Jason for the last 10 years( if not longer). He returns calls quickly and shows up when he says he will be there. Jason & his crew are all very pleasant & professional. Jason contacted me promptly to discuss the work I wanted to have done, and he explained in detail exactly what he would do & how much it would cost. All services & costs are also given in writing. He gave me a date of service, but actually ended up completing the work several days earlier than anticipated. The work was very well done, and his crew foreman insisted upon me checking & approving each tree/shrub before leaving. My yard was left as clean - maybe cleaner :-) - than they found it! I'll definitely use Jason's tree service again, & would recommend him to others.

He was extremely after he left him a message. He called right back and schedule a time that was convenient for us to come and get a free estimate. His price was reasonable and he was very honest with us. We plan to use him in the future for tree removal services.

After the tree was cut down and everything shredded, the workers cleaned the whole area. My yard and street were cleaner than before they arrived! And, the icing on the cake? We received a 10% discount for being members of Angie's List!

Jason was very prompt in giving an estimate for trimming the trees in our yard. We were satisfied with the price and asked him to start as soon as he could. Soon after, Hurricane Sandy and one more wind storm hit so our job was delayed for several weeks. This was completely understandable. When he did complete the job we were thrilled with the results, he even cleaned up more than we had orginally agreed on. We had several trees go down in the hurricane that Jason removed. He was very professional and neat.

Great price. Very Professional. Highly recommended. I tried to get my usual contractor, but he failed to come through. After two months of waiting, I reached out to a number of tree people from Angie's List. Jason was the first to come out, and gave me an amazing price (1/3 of 4 other estimates from my previous estimates from contractors / not tree specialists). I guess the other contractors were price gouging with all the work from the storm. Jason called me, and gave me estimate. He also gave me the 10% Angies discount without any hestitation. He actually asked me how I found him, and I mentioned Angies' List. He quickly noted that I get 10% off his quote without me asking Jason also offered to trim tree in front sidewalk of my house for a nonimal amount of money. I quickly hired him to do both. They scheduled the work for two weeks out. A couple of days before the work, they called to confirm date and time. The workers (5 of them) came on time, and took down the tree and trim the other tree quickly (probably 1 hour of time). They cleaned up. My dad was there when they did the work. I am really happy with their work. I do not live in the area, and we did everything over the phone. I highly recommended hiring Jason for your tree services. Price was amazing. Work was even better. I will use him again shortly as I have another tree that needs work.

Jason was very professional and detailed with his assessment of the work needed. He and a 4 man crew came on time and the crew worked for 5 hours to chop up and stack the 90' fallen tree destroyed in Superstorm Sandy. Jason provided a detailed estimate so I was prepared for the bill. It was high but it goes with the type of work needed to be done. I would recommend him and would call on him again in the future if the need arises.

From my first call to the company to the completion of the job, it couldn't have gone smoother. Jason was polite and professional. The work was scheduled promptly and his workers where knowledgeable and courteous.

When our service date arrived, Mr. Pilla called that morning and provided an arrival time for his crew. Mr. Pilla and the crew arrived promptly and reviewed the work to be done with us before beginning. We requested that some additional work be done to remove large limbs from three trees that had snapped off at the top but had not fallen to the ground. Mr. Pilla's estimate for the additional work was extremely reasonable and the work commenced. Three hours later, all work was completed including chipping the limbs and cleaning up all debris. We were very impressed with the work that was performed and with the five crew members who performed the work. Each member was polite and respectful and they were very concerned that we were satisfied with every aspect of their work. We plan to have them return to do some additional work in the fall and recommend this company wholeheartedly.

We were very impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. They arrived on time with two crews and never disturbed any of our large planting beds and shrubbery during the tree removal and trimming process. They opened up the yard allowing more light and better views of the yard and of the house. They did an excellent job of pruning ornamental trees and cleaned up as they worked. The yard was cleaner when they finished than when they began.

From start to finish, Jason and his crew were excellent. He arrived in a timely fashion and provided a proposal on the spot. After we elected to hire his company, the work was done in earlier than we could have hoped for. All work was done very well and the cleanup was excellent. I would highly reccomend his services and would use his company again if we needed it

Mr. Pilla is probably the most courteous, enthusiastic contractor with whom I have ever dealt. When my neighbor asked for an estimate the day he was giving ours, he went right over and they hired him too. Over the course of 2 days, all of the work itemized above was completed, plus the complete removal of 2 trees on my neighbor's property. While notifying another neighbor that I had parked in her driveway on the 2nd day to accommodate the various trucks and my family's comings-and- goings, she asked me to send him over and they were hired on the spot to prune one very large, and one medium, tree for her. This crew works hard, fast, professionally, and cleanly. Mr. Pilla is a veritable encyclopedia of tree knowledge and wisdom. And he shares that knowledge generously.
