I am changing my review after only 7 months of having my roof done with this company. Every time it rains my kitchen ceiling leaks tremendously and paintchips fall all over the floor. After contacting the company they offered for a technician to come out and take a look. The technician did not come the day he was scheduled for and we had to reschedule For the next day (no one reached out to us to let us know the technician would not be able to come out as scheduled- we reached out to the company ). Automatically upon entering, the technician began to tell me there was no leak or that it wasn’t due to the roof- saying this without even assessing the roof( when my roof is clearly damaged with water stains and I have video of water coming out of my light fixture) needless to say, they left without a resolve. Due to the lack of resolution we had even more water damage the next time it rained. Fast forward to today, my roof is still leaking -a supervisor was suppose to address the problem that was not fully addressed and yet again no call to let me know that they were running hours behind. This company has not shown up to scheduled appointments 6 times, causing a loss of money due to taking off from work and causing a loss of money due to constantly repairing damages from the leaky roof. Now I understand why they have customers write a review before the job is completed. There is absolutely no care for people’s time or money spent. To top it all off we were fined $500 during the installation and had to waste hours of our day in virtual court because the garbage dumpster was not properly placed outside. This company has wasted enough of my time and money and I would not recommend. We are more than disappointed after paying thousands of dollars for a new roof & thinking we were going with a reputable company. Do NOT spend your hard earned money with this company.

Very professional, install team showed up at 7:50am, slated for 8am. Removed all my windows, were very careful with removal, used drop clothes and disposed of all related trash. My new windows look great. The sales person informed me of all aspects of the job and the install manager double checked everything and advised me of all things that were required of me before the install. A real great, professional team. I would highly recommend them for any window replacement.

Terrible, this is second time that i had to call to get door repaired and they weren t able to repair it. Was told that they would have to order a new door lock and handle in order to fix it. So i waited three days to check on the status of getting door fixed with new set and was told that they had to order a new one and i was on the scheduled for a month and a half later. I told them that i was unable to get in my front door and had to walk around house to get in through back door. They stated that it takes awhile to get parts and that s when they scheduled me and were unable to get part sooner and they couldn t help me which is terrible.

Multiple Windows and a sliding door

Project initially went well. After completion the trim came off on two separate occasions, once a few months after completion and then about 11 months after completion in two different areas. This seems to be a common occurrence now and it is quite concerning I feel that the quality of the product is poor. I paid a lot of money for this- and the customer service was extremely disappointing!!!!!!! I asked to be prioritized for the repair because the piece of trim is large and scraping the roof over my Autistic sons bedroom now he is not able to sleep there due to the noise. The agents response was “it’s not a life changing occurrence so you need to wait for your appointment”. Are you KIDDING ME!!!!! I asked for supervisor she dismissed me completely spoke over me as I was talking and that was that. I WILL NEVER HIRE THEM AGAIN!!!!!

Working with Power Home Remodeling was a pleasure. From the sales team, to the project manager, and each individual installation team, the project were completed with expert efficiency and care. All separate teams were on time, neat, clean, and cared for the property. I highly recommend Power Home Remodeling to anyone considering them as a contractor.

Job was done professionally and timely. Left house neat and clean. Very happy with job, would hire again.

Refused to Follow-Through with obtaining a Quote due to the company and salesmen being completely deceitful. I came across them while attending a Boat Show when I was in the market for a new roof and solar. They claimed to offer a "no obligation, contactless" quote that would be left in my mailbox, yet it oddly enough required me to be home for it. After scheduling the Estimate, the salesman met with me, in my home (despite being Contactless), and refused to speak with me until my Fiancé was home. He forced me, while in his presence, to reschedule the Estimate as he informed me of their sales tactic that they offer 20% off the quoted amount if the contract was signed the same day as the Estimate. This left me with a bad taste in my mouth, and I never obtained a Quote for the job. Not only this, but before I even met with the salesman, my information was given without my permission to a 3rd party Solar company for a quote as well. Fast forward a few months later and they have started calling me again for a quote. They have been harrassing me now for 3 months despite me speaking with them and asking them to please stop calling as I am no longer interested. However, they still call, all hours of the day, requesting information despite me informing them I am still not interested and never will be in their company. Even when you give them the information they are looking for, despite not scheduling an estimate, they still continue push to try and sell their product. No one likes these Used Car Salesman tactics, so I have to imagine their business follows the same poor business model. I would stay far away from hiring this company to do any work on your home.

No complaints. Scheduling went smoothly. Workers arrived on time. Surrounding work area was kept clean. The product seems of high quality. The price was a little high.

Great job. On time, very professional and attention to detail. The windows look fabulous.

High pressure sales team with questionable ethics. I was able to negotiate the "Fortitude" GAF roofing system down from the "suggested retail" price of $27,000 to $17,000. I suspect with more diligence, I could have landed them at 15,000, however I'm hesitant to do business with a company that will push retail products so far outside of competitive market prices. Average roofing estimates in my area land around 10,500. Please consider product/market fit. If you can't compete in a market, don't sell there. Your "tech" is overkill/hype, and your sales tactics are predatory. Someone with far less resilience might swallow your "$24,000 first-visit discount" for your roofing solution, but that is unfair and unethical when they could pay to have their roof replaced twice for the same cost.

I am very pleased with the quality and appearance of the double-pane, double-hung, vinyl-framed windows, which replace the house's original (c. 1963) single-pane, single-hung, aluminum-framed windows. To date, my electricity usage has been lower in every full billing period since the new windows were installed than in the same month the previous year, though the savings on my natural gas bill from reduced furnace use during the winter were less significant in dollar terms. I also took advantage of Power's offer to reimburse the expense of boarding pets on the day of the big installation job. There were a few issues consequent to the installation job. The workers, during their cleanup at the end of the day, apparently overlooked a piece of sharp, metallic debris from one of my old windows, which I found lying on my driveway out near the street. If I had not performed a check for such dangers soon after they left, I would likely have run over it the next time I backed my car out of the garage and ended up with a flat tire. Second, it was only some weeks later when I realized that I should have received a key to the lock on the new screen door that I had installed along with the windows. I called Power and made another appointment, this time for the lock to be replaced and the keys to the new lock issued to me. Unfortunately, I had to wait a couple of weeks from then for the appointment, then take off work that morning, which was an inconvenience both professionally and personally. Third, while not the fault of Power in any way, the window replacement job also ended up precipitating the death of one of my cats just 2 1/2 days later. While Power's subsequent reimbursement of boarding expenses was indeed welcome, unfortunately the stress of being transported to the local veterinary clinic and spending 24 hours there just before and during the installation, and then returning home to find that furniture had been moved and her normal environment altered (including the removal of the old kitty door between the kitchen and the back patio) caused one of my two older, mostly-indoor cats, who was already suffering from chronic kidney disease, to go on a hunger strike and hole up in a closet. The next evening, after I got home from work and found her still hiding with her face to the wall, I drove her to the nearest 24-hour veterinary emergency clinic (in an adjacent county), where she died overnight, leaving me with the grief of an unexpected loss--as well as an unexpected $1,000 in hospitalization and cremation expenses.

It went very fast. Overall look is great.

Everything went extremely well with the work. The windows look and work great, no more draft in the rooms. The trim and gutters look great a huge improvement from the original gutters.

It went terrible right off the bat. I was promised an on-site PM (project manager). The guy was hardly here. I had to monitor the work the crew was doing. These guys were not Power workers but outsourced companies used by Power. I was promised trained Power workers. That didn't happen. You know how you. have that initial turn-key Power agent go over your needs, jots them down, and then promises to pass them onto the PM? Well, I had to repeat my needs because the PM wasn't there to this outsourced company. What went wrong: 1) They installed oversized door frames for my sliding doors. It looked ridiculous. There was more frame than sliding doors. They even cut the frame to go around the light switches. I had to ask them to remove the framing and install smaller ones. They tore the dry-rock skin right off and didn't bother to repair it. Left it as is and they broke the light switch plate. 2) New bay window: installed with dry orange specks that can't come off. They installed it and didn't paint it. They were supposed to paint it. They didn't. I told the crew that they were supposed to paint it. They refused. I hired myself and painted it a week after they were done. Oh, and the molding on my walls was left an inch short of the window frame molding. 3) French Doors: perfect, until I discovered a notch on the exterior door frame that was disguised with wood putty and the same burgundy color stain as the door frame. I complained about it because I am the unpaid PM on duty and they replaced it BECAUSE I pointed it out to them. What else were they trying to hide and get away with??? 4) Basement windows: sorry, we can't do it. What?!? The pricing had to be recalculated. At this point, the less they do, the better! So why am I complaining now, after a few years later. Power makes it a habit of stopping by unannounced. Right? They catch you off guard, don't bother to call and they think they're doing us a favor. Well, a new Power guy stopped by 2 weeks ago. I pull into the driveway and he's talking to my wife, probably around 6-7pm at night. I ask my wife to go into the house and that I'd finish speaking with the Power rep. I tell the Power guy everything I just listed above. He feels for me and tells me how another 14 homes had similar issues but never complained about it. (Probably because the follow up didn't happen especially when there was something to complain about; which in turn explains there "incredible" rating). So the Power guy tells me he's going to do something about it and get some work done that should have been taken care of when the project was initiated. He tells me that someone is going to call. I called him a week later letting him know that no one has called. He assured me that someone would call. Two weeks later, and I'm done waiting for a phone call that just means another promise left unfulfilled. If you have issues with Power, report it and demand that your PM is on-site. I recommend you closely inspect all of your installations and make sure everything is painted and left better than when they started; especially for the money we're paying these guys.

Hadn't been planning to do a roof but found water in the attic after several weeks of storms and rain. The sales folks who stopped by, the project manager who confirmed the job, the roofing team, and the inspector were all very nice, and very helpful. They called to confirm meeting times, materials delivery times, and inspection visits. The roofing team was onsite EARLY and done by 2:30pm. The yard was cleaner than it had been when they got there. The roof looks good, there is new ventilation in the attic and the water damage was repaired. The new flashing around the chimney is substantially larger than the old flashing as well, which is where the original leak happened.

Incredibly pushy salesman came at a terribly inconvenient time. Refused to take no for an answer. Everything he offered I told him we recently had done, yet he still insisted on making me sign some paper that had illegible type on it, and refused to leave. My husband finally had to chase him off. Check Glassdoor.com, these people are known for high pressure sales tactics and are a complete scam. Do not even answer the door if you see them. He refused to give me a business card which was the first sign that something was very wrong.

Go shows up and spends 2 hours telling me how great their company is and how bad everyone else is. Gives me an estimate (barely rights it down) for $21,000. Then says if I sign today the price would be $18,000. Two weeks later they call and say they are in the area and would like to come buy with a third quote. Bullsh*&. Just give me your best price right off the bat, don't play games with me. So I had another company, that uses the same GAF "system" do the job for $7100. These guys might do good work, don't know for sure, but they are high pressure, play games with the estimates and are way over-priced. Go somewhere else.

We heard about Power from a neighbor whose house was recently renovated. We needed gutters, so went ahead and used the Power installers. About 6 months later we decided to have trim and soffits done. We have been thoroughly satisfied with Power, to the point of hiring them to side the entire house. The cost is a bit high, but the work has been excellent and is guaranteed . Each of the representatives has been top notch!! Very impressive! Will post another review upon completion of the siding project.

Wonderful company, excellent product, professional install... would definitely recommend.

10/28/19 some guy was walking on my dads block seen my dad putting out his garbage and went up to him and said I am working in the area and I see you need a new roof, My 84 year old dad didnt know that and was confussed, then today Conner Harding shows up at my dads for 3 hours telling him he needs a roof beams and new plywood. I am a licensed contractor and there is NO issues with my parent's roof. This company was targeting old people "my parents" and soliciting work for no reason totally against the law

We were not kept fully informed about the progress of the project

It went very well, they came when they said they will, they got the job done in a day, very professional and they clean up after themselves.

We just recently had our roof done by Power Home Remodeling and I wanted to take a minute to post on Yelp to give some details about our experience. To start, the sales rep who came to our home was on time, incredibly professional, and knew what he was talking about. He did not try to inflate the cost and was up front about everything we would be paying for. He also gave us options about other home improvement projects we could do in the future. The next step was the pre-inspection. The pre-inspection rep came out, on time, and went over every step of the project in depth. He confirmed what we wanted and did a second inspection of our current roof, giving us a confirmation on materials. The price did not change and he confirmed exactly what was being ordered and when the supplies would arrive. On the scheduled installation day the crew came, again ON TIME, almost exactly to the minute of when we were told they would come. They started working immediately and were done in one day. Exactly what we were told. The cleanup was top notch and there was literally not one piece of debris left. A few days after the roof was installed the Quality Control manager came out to our home and reviewed the job. He got out his ladder and went up on the roof to inspect. He then spoke to me to confirm that I was happy with the job and answered any questions I had. He also helped me to activate my warranty. From top to bottom the experience was without a flaw. Power was professional, on time, totally honest, and incredibly professional. There isn't one thing I would complain about. Our roof looks amazing and the experience was fantastic. I would recommend them to anyone looking to get their roof done.

Went well, would work with them again. Incredibly professional throughout. We actually found out about them through a team of theirs that was going house to house. Very slick presentation. We needed gutters repaired after a neighbor's tree came down and tore up our existing ones. They actually looked at our siding and windows and didn't recommend replacing at this time, which was really refreshing. The only, very minor, nit we have to pick is that the guys who actually came and did the work ended up leaving metal scraps on the roof and some on the ground, which with 2 active and young children, and a dog, we have some concerns with. Otherwise the work looks great and we're happy with it.
