We didn?t use them because we went with a company that also did masonry work along with landscaping. Their price was around the ballpark.

Good job overall. We waited a few weeks for scheduling but they were prompt and finished the job in one day. We have a very steep front yard and it turned out that the creeping myrtle was planted too shallow - one good rain storm unearthed all of the pots and killed most of the plants. I called D&S to let them know, and they were back out the next day with new plants. Everything had taken root and grown in nicely.

Issac and his entire crew did a great job. It was clear that every person working knew what to do and how to do their job well. Issac suggested doing two drains instead of one, but quoted me a lower price than others had done for one drain right up against the house. The price was extremely close to the estimate, despite a couple of additional pieces of work they did, and we are very pleased with the overall result. We no longer get moisture in our crawlspace, the patio looks great, the foundation has been waterproofed, and the drains invisibly connect with the city storm drains. The work was done quickly and the patio looks great. We will definitely hire D&S again for future landscaping. Issac was knowledgeable about plants and had some great ideas for improving areas of our yard, and was happy to listen to requests I had for specific low allergy plants.

Very responsive and professional but too expensive. Ended up with a competitor who did an excellent job for nearly 50% less.

It was good. We weren't sure how much it would cost. It seemed fair, but we weren't in a position to begin work. They were courteous and on time. He gave me a good estimate. I don't have anything negative to say.

I called and Isaac came out the next day for an estimate. He followed up with a written quote and contract the following day. He suggested that we use brick pavers for the front path instead of concrete and also told us he could tie the sump pumps and downspouts into new piping to drain into the street. I thought the price was fair for the work. The front path he did in one day while he was waiting for the permits from the township. It looks fabulous and really compliments the house. Isaac handled all interaction with the township, which I appreciated. Once we had the permits, Isaac's crew of three performed the work over about four days. The guys were very polite, very neat and very hard working. Isaac visited three or four times a day, and I felt that the work was very well supervised. The end result looks great -- I could not be happier with the work that they did.

They were pretty good, and we were happy with them. I guess they expected us to clear the leaves before they mowed; there was some miscommunication there in terms of what they expected us to do, and so they ended up charging us money for the leaf-clearing, which I guess took longer than we expected. We did the rest of the leaves ourselves. There was some scheduling mix-up, and they didn?t show up a couple of times. Apart from these, the service was pretty good. The work was done in my parents? house, and my mom paid for it. I think we will be using them in the future.

D&S was impressive from the start. Even in our first contact to obtain an estimate they were by far the most knowledgeable and courteous. They worked with us to design the sidewalk layout, made suggestions to guide us, and they added elements (while still maintaining a competitive price), such as the channel drain and side stoop, that other contractors did not even seem to think of. As work progressed they were amenable to suggestions and requests, always attentive and courteous, and were professional and hard working. The finished result is the envy of our neighbors. We have received many compliments.

I contacted five vendors, D & S was quick to respond. They were very punctual in showing up for the estimate, took time to really understand what I was looking for, and followed up promptly with a detailed estimate that ended up being very reasonable compared to the other vendors, even before the Angie's List discount. They did the work on time, it came out looking even better than I had hoped, and I'm glad to tell any of my neighbors who did the job for me.

We originally contacted D & S landscaping after finding them on Angie's List. Don Liberti called us back immediately and came by to give us an estimate on landscaping our front and back yards. Don's original estimate for both was appropriate for the work he would do. His plan sounded just like what we had always wanted. Unfortunately, I found out a few days after Don gave us the quote that my job was going away and we would need to put our house up for sale. My wife and I knew we needed some "curb appeal" so we told Don our situation and asked what he could do to get the front of the house looking good. Don came back with a new quote within a couple of days and the price was right. One week later they did the work, completing it in one day. The front of our house looks great! We would recommend D & S Landscaping to anyone. They are responsive, professional, and reasonable.

We worked with several landscapers developing a (growing) back yard project. Isaac from D+S was one of the most engaged and brought the broadest perspective: he had ideas, he thought about planting and overall look, not just the hardscape like the other contractors, and he kept working with us until the plan was complete. D+S's bid was in the middle of the pack in price, and we felt most comfortable working with them, so they got the job. The crew doing the work was great: meticulous, hard-working, and cheerful. Isaac is a designer, not just someone who carries out work. In fact, sometimes he takes initiative to improve a job. Some of his improvements were great...they really made the final product much better in several ways (though he could have been a little better about talking us through them). As the job evolved (it was about 3 weeks of work), we added some elements and changed others, and we're VERY happy with the final project. There were also some additional costs, and D+S originally came in with a rather high estimate for the supplemental work, but we negotiated a mutually acceptable contract. If you're looking for a designer who listens and responds, but also has his own ideas and is willing to act on them; and if you're looking for craftsmen who take the time to do really nice work, including the parts you can't see like drainage lines and so forth, Isaac from D+S is a very good choice.

I was very pleased. They came, recommended by my neighbor Patty, because we were really in need of some landscaping done since it had not been done for 15 years! Their work was amazing, they really cleaned up the look of our front yard, planted bushes that lead up our pathway to the door and also laid down some mulch and stone which looked amazing when they were finished. Our yard had never looked so good. They were punctual, worked with us to plan out exactly what we wanted so it was custom plus their estimate was very accurate so there were no surprises.

He knew I wanted flowering perennials so he gave me a CD from his supplier and said to pick out exactly what I wanted. Also, his plan allowed for planting beds for the annuals I love. The job started on the day Isaac promised and took the time he said it would. The workmen were extremely conscientious, cleaning up each day and they even washed down my house and mowed and edged my lawn! Isaac answered all my questions and made sure I knew how to care for my new plants. I would recommend D & S in a heartbeat!
