I would definitely recommend them. Isaac the main guy is extremely professional, never shows any kind of an attitude and he is quite knowledgeable about the business.

Description of Work: They landscaped the front of our house and it looks great. They did it in one day and were very professional. Even when our crazy neighbor came over a bothered them. They did extra things they did not have to and cleaned up so good that it looked like no one had been there.

Description of Work: I have mixed emotions with D&S Landscaping. I have employed them previously to perform hardscape (paver walkways). The project manager and owner were very professional. This project went extremely well, and i would recommend D&S as the quality, punctuality, price, and professionalism was very good. However, the softscape (lawn maintenance) experience was very disappointing. There was a lack of ongoing communication, e.g., dates for lawn treatments were not communicated, the maintenance of the garden beds was not performed on a regular basis (only once based on a telephone conversation with the owner, who promptly sent a team), despite confirmation (twice) that this would take place bi-weekly- it never happened. Lastly, no return phone calls for my messages. I am very surprised that this would happen considering we engaged D&S for a walkway job. Overall, i would have to think twice about considering them for a next job. |Quality of lawncare was adequate. Price was on the high end of the competitive range, of the companies I assessed. Good responsiveness to some of my concerns only when i was able to speak to the owner.

Description of Work: Saw pictures of Black Asphalt driveway on thier website so called to get it done but they don't do Black Asphalt driveway. Was told it's an error. But they were quick in returning my call within 10 mins or so. Did not spen any $$ but have to enter some thing.

Description of Work: I called and left a message that I wanted lawn work done on my house. I got a call back and arranged for him to come by Monday afternoon. I asked him to call if he was going to be late or could not make it: he assured me he would. But he did not. I called again Monday night and left a message of explanation. But no one called me back, nor has anyone from this company. I detest the perchant for private contractors to behave this way. I'm also wondering, since I'm not taking this personally, how frequently this happens and, if it does, why such reviews aren't in this firm's folder. Certainly I would expect to see this rating added to it.

Description of Work: The whole property was cleaned up, weeded, gardens freshen up, and pavers sprayed. Huge railroad ties were cut up and taken away. They trimmed a large tree that the branches were hanging too low. They did a great job on the whole yard and spent all day getting the job done. I am very happy with the results.

Description of Work: I called D&S because of the reviews here. I spoke with Don regarding re-doing my landscaping - not a small job by any means. After a wonderful conversation, he said he would call back and someone would be at my house to provide and estimate within 5 days. That was the last I heard from him. No follow-up, no call, no sorry we are not interested. I would not recommend as clearly he is too busy for additional work this year.
