Great service- reliable, competent and personable!

I went through other reviews on this site, and it appears the service and customer satisfaction are directly related to who the technician is. My dryer did not work (did not rotate), a guy came over and spent 30 seconds (or even less), made it work, and charged $208. While I appreciate the person's knowledge and the quick repair, there was no parts replacement. The technician just opened the cover, did something, closed it, all of which took less than 30 seconds. When I asked what the problem was, he said, "it's fixed now" and that was it. I feel this is a total rip-off, unless the 30 secs of knowledge the technician had was something that no one else would figure out.

The repair has been completed. The repairman tried a simpler repair first. When that did not work he credited me for the amount paid towards the more complete repair.

I ended up having 2 parts bad on my dishwasher. After the first part only fix half the trouble he had to order another part and he stayed with the trouble until he fixed the problem

The job was done well, but was a bit pricey for the job and the time it took to be completed.

I am so happy to use this company and take advantage of this submission to save it to my Homeadvisor database. Yes, I would gladly call them again.

RIPOFF ALERT! Our dishwasher was leaking pretty bad, causing some flooding in the kitchen that was leading to leaks in the basement. Russell came out, charged $75 for an estimate and told us that the source of the problem was not the dishwasher and we needed to call a plumber. Ok, so we called a plumber who immediately found the source of the problem, a valve on the dishwasher. We needed an appliance repairman. Edgewater Appliance has a 30 day policy where if you end up doing work on an appliance they would rebate the estimate cost. So once the plumber found the source of the problem, I took some photos and videos of the leaking part and sent it to Russell. After some back and forth, he agreed on a Wednesday to come out the upcoming Sunday between 10am-1pm to look at it again. Come Sunday morning, he texts me to tell me that he is NOT coming that day but he ordered the part I needed and would come the following Wednesday to install it. He said it would cost $295. I said no, $295 to fix a $550 appliance made no sense so I sought out a second opinion. I called GE directly and they told me that the part itself is only $23! It will be fixed for a fraction of the cost that Edgewater Appliance quoted me by GE. My experience with Edgewater Appliance was terrible. Russell charged us $75 to tell us nothing was wrong with our dishwasher when there was. And then cancelled a scheduled appointment the day of and of course the cherry on top was the 1300% markup he wanted to charge us to fix a part. Awful and dishonest. Be careful with these people.
