My service technician was on time, knowledgeable and very nice! Got my situation under control with speed, which saved me labor time,,,, and helped me have a beginning of a stress free air conditioning season! I LOVE eatontown appliance! ! This was not my first time with them and they have been consistently helpful and reliable. Thank you eatontown appliance!

They told me it would be $5,000 to repair a bbq that they broke due to not tightening one of the burners correctly. Creating a gas leak and almost blowing up my house. They are not qualified and they are liars. They broke my bbq, tried to upsell me to buy a new one, told me it was my fault when it was theirs, and wouldn't take responsibility. The owner is rasist and a big dick. 5k to fix my bbq when another company fixed it for $425.00

Ask yourself if it is worth paying over $700 for a TV that is cheaper elsewhere. I paid $450.00 for the installation of a TV (literally hundreds more than another quote). Pretax I paid $947.00 for a TV priced in 3 different stores for only $500. The total bill with installation was $1589.55 for a $500 T.V. And if this overpayment is not bad enough, I had a small problem when the T.V. started talking to me whenever I made any changes; it needed an adjustment. I called the store twice and spoke to two different men. The first stated that someone would get back to me. Two days later no one called, so I called again and was told by the second person that this required a house call because it was a "technical" issue. When I asked if someone could just tell me which adjustment to make over the phone, I was told that someone would have to be out there for a house call. So three days later no one from the store called. I called a friend who, over the phone, talked me through adjusting the TV in 10 minutes. Yes, over the phone! The store employee that sells TVs for a living told me that this could not be done on the phone because it was too technical. I paid over $500 more for a TV with an alleged guarantee of service for one year that they refuse to provide just 3 months after I got the T.V. This store is overpriced and fails to provide services according to their alleged warranty. There is no way to justify this. And I didn't know which TV they would provide until the installer arrived because they needed to ensure the TV fit the area properly (so I didn't have time to price this TV elsewhere). Buyer beware is my only comment. I would rather have donated that much money to charity. Over a $600 loss for me had I gone to buy this anywhere else.

Horrible, they broke my expensive BBQ and LIED to the credit card company when I tried to fight this charge. Then they tried to sell me a new BBQ. Trust me when I say they have a very bad reputation, the owner is racist and he's a piece of crap. Karma will get you my friend. One day

Took them about a week to come to my house. Repairman said he would order the part. Called a few days later and the part had not even been ordered. Took another week. Repairman finally came and installed part. Large leak through ceiling when I did the first load after he left. Repairman came back and said that the washer was not causing the leak, must be the plumbing, which he said needed to be snaked out. Plumber called, snaked the pipes. Washer still caused leak through ceiling. Plumber came back and cut 2 large holes in drywall and tested all plumbing. No plumbing problem whatsoever - the improperly repaired washer was leaking. Now I'm trying to get Eatontown to come back and finally fix the washer. They are SO unresponsive. Many times I have been told that they will call right back and they don't call. Unbelievably incompetent organization - dealing with them has been an expensive disaster. I could have had a really great brand new washer for what this has cost me - and my ceiling and walls have not even been repaired yet! They are easily the worst organization I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.

I called this company for appliance service. They said my service would be the first in line after noon the following day, and someone would call me at noon to confirm when they would arrive. When no one called by 1:30 the following afternoon, I called to see what was up. A child answered the phone with children playing in the background and said that the service department was closed. When I asked how that could be, he put me on hold, and someone else who was very young picked up. They put me on hold while they checked on my call, and after holding, hung up on me. When I called back again, the same thing happened, and then the second young person got on again and said that I was three calls away from getting my service. I called another place and secured a service appointment that was $50 cheaper, and then called this place again to cancel. When I said I wanted to cancel, I was immediately transferred to an adult that said someone would be there very soon - I cancelled anyway. After this, I would never buy anything or request service from this company - totally unprofessional!

Hard to believe this behavior, but it did happen just as described. Denying a conversation and insisting that I am effectively delusional about who I spoke to is pretty unnerving. I am now spending my money elsewhere at a reputable appliance dealer regardless of how their price compares with Eatontown TV. The experience was so jarring and awful that is almost makes you want to take a shower. Run from this Eatontown TV business.
Description of Work: Run from this retailer.....despite their 45 year heritage as a local appliance dealer. Here's why: =needed a dishwasher and called Eatontown TV among other dealers to find a good deal =got a great price, so I took the salesperson's name and the breakdown of the price (unit price and install) =finished my shopping for a deal and decided to buy from Eatontown TV =called back within 2 hours to make the purchase and asked for the salesperson =UNBELIEVABLY........1. the salesperson denied giving me the price from 90 minutes before-he said the prices change daily like the stock market. Now, the price is $50.00 more. I pointed out that we spoke 90 mins ago, but he actually denied that fact 2. the salesperson then denied.....ready for this........every speaking to me! When I explained that I have his name written down, he said it couldn't have been him because he just came in from the race track (weird and why do I want to know where he just came from) and that I absolutely spoke to someone else. What's really unnerving is that at the beginning of this call to make the purchase, he acknowledged that he remembered my call and the dishwasher I was looking for and then he even described the unit. His denial of our conversation began immediately upon my resisting the elevated price in an effort to undermine the credibility of my price quote with him. Whew........that's a rugged what to treat a customer.

They are the best bunch. We’ve used them about four times over the last ten years. They are one of those old-fashioned dealers that actually mean it when they say, “We service what we sell.” It’s interesting talking to them because they will lead you to the appliance that will require the least service. They stand by their products and they are always there to fix things. They are not a big box store. They don’t have much in the way of overhead and they’re set up with a branch in an enterprise zone where the sales tax is 5% less than everywhere else; they send everything from there. Any problem and they are here the same day. You have to be ready a half hour before your appointment because they’re always early. I have recommended them to everybody.
