CAPITOL LIGHTING

Sales person Lorrie told us they would ship to our house from Boca Raton. Only 1 arrived but was marked 1 of 2. Fed Ex tracker said both delivered. Called Capitol after waiting a couple of days and after getting shuttled around to different customer service people i was told 1 fixture was damaged. When I spoke to Lorrie about replacing it she told me I could not have it for the the same price because it was a "floor model" and there were no more andI would have to pay full price. We were never told they were floor models and as she said "new merchandise " did not qualify for the sale. We would never bought floor samples. And I told her I felt she should honor the price and that she was pulling a bait and switch. She offered me a 15% discount. We really wanted them and I told her to order it. The more we thought about it the more we felt she was not forth coming about it and decided to return the 1 we received and cancel the one ordered. I went to the store yesterday and had to deal with a very rude "customer service" person. She had an attitude from the start. She said the fixture looked new and insisted it came from the back of the store even though the label clearly said it was from Florida. And said that I was wrong and she would get the manager. I said I just want my money back but they didn't want to give it to me because they said it was a floor sample even though it was in a never before opened box. When I had previously expressed my dissatisfaction to Lorrie she wrote back I could return both fixtures. I'm glad I had it in writing. On the wall behind the rude service people was there motto about customer service being uppermost! A lot more detail about their rudeness has not even been added trying to keep this brief.
